  • Helping future sister in law with wedding ?

To- be sister in law will be getting married in June 2010, I am not a bridesmaid of hers, (which is fine) they are having a small wedding.

But she insists I go dress shopping with her, and help with the wedding planning. How can I politely say, this is something you should do with your bridesmaid. Because I am not interested in wedding planning, I would rather her do the planning with the girl she chose as a bridesmaid.

  • Future in-laws planning wedding one month after ours ?

Okay- My FH's brother just engaged his GF. I am happy for them, it's just they came to us saying they want to get married one month after us. We have been engaged for 7 months now, (5 months to go) they have been engaged for a week. I don't have the right to tell them when they can get married. I just feel that two weddings in less than one month is way too much, and all the guests that we both want to invite will have to decide which wedding to attend. Please by honest, am I being out of line here??

  • Can you make sense of this?

The American (United States Justice System) Vs. Canadian. Why is that the American's have the death penalty, more people on death row, many people in prisons across the nations. Whereas in Canada, the violence rate is much more lower, no death penalty, no death row. And the intensity of crimes is much higher?? Example, A few have gone out and killed there pregnant wives, and now they are being lined up to be executioned. How does this make sense??

  • What's the most difficult thing you have had to discuss...?

Was it a hard break up with someone, or a confrontation with a friend. What is one of the hardest things you had to talk about (you keep putting it off, running through your head what you might say)

  • Can anyone recognize their own scent??

If your clothes were put in with a bunch of other people, who were not related, would you be able to pick out which is yours, just by its scent? I know of many other people, I know that they are around because you can smell them, or at someones house, they have a distinct smell. Do we become too immune to our our own whiffs?

  • living with depression?

I suffer from depression, have been prescribed anti-depressants from my doctor. I'm just wondering how the people closest to me *(friends family, bf) can understand this illness, and how they can cope. I have come to know that alot of people truly don't understand what it feels like to always feel down or worthless, when things in life are going great. I have been to several counselors in my life and many try to figure out what bad things may be causing this, they don't think about what is really going on (with hormones, genetic genes) I'd like all points of view on this matter...

  • pretty jewellery?

My boy friend bought me a beautiful white gold necklace with a cross on it. I'm curious if wearing it to bed is going to add wear and tear on it a lot quicker. I just like it so much, I don't like taking it off.... Although I do take it off to shower.
