I'm a 27-year-old female who works from home. I want to move to Davenport, Florida (after researching areas) and be close to WDW and parks. Hoping to work part-time at one of the parks.

I have been reading so much about the area and have had a lot of mixed reviews, a lot of people who don't even live in Florida are commenting, so it's confusing :/

Are the bugs really that bad/big? eeek

Is Davenport safe or not...?

I understand it's tourist-y, so are the shops nearby raising their prices (tourist traps?) If so... where do the locals shop?

I am opening a child care and I wondered if anyone knew where parents would go to find these services. Someone suggested craigslist... but I'm not so sure that's the best place to start. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

I am preparing to get licensed as a Family Childcare Provider. I am finding all different requirements online, and thought it might be easier to ask other MA Providers. Do I need to have a degree in early childhood education or previous daycare center experience before applying for a license? I worked in my mother's day care for 3 full summers, but that was probably 10 years ago... help! :)

I don't understand what this "Occupy" movement is. I have asked people that are part of Occupy Boston, but then I hear things on the radio that don't add up to what other people are saying. I'm confused... what is the protest exactly against?

My dog spent the first 3 months of her life in a kill shelter, and then the next 3 in a shelter packed with dogs, some aggressive ones. She was attacked by a dog (so they say). I adopted her a month ago, and while she has made an unbelievable amount of progress, she has HUGE issue with men! I can not, for the life of me, find a dog psychologist in Massachusetts. Does anyone know of one?

I rarely have a night alone and I'm psyched that I will have the house all to myself. I have netflix, and I want to watch a good anime! I like the goofier animes (Ouran High School, School Rumble) and the fantasy type (Soul Eater, Inuyasha), but nothing too serious. Any suggestions?

I was just trying to get some opinions. My puppy was being fed Pedigree, so when I adopted her I decided to stay with the same food for a few weeks. But now I'm thinking of upgrading. The few I have in mind are:

I adopted a dog two weeks ago, she is only 6 months old but has been through a lot. She is very timid, and not a happy-go-lucky puppy. I have been working with her constantly to build her confidence, and she has gotten better. She trusts me probably 85% of the time... which is an improvement since she really is not sure about humans.

When she met my parent's dog for the first time, I felt as if I were watching a completely different puppy! She had tons of energy, was running around playing, smiling, acting like a puppy should. I had been worried about her lack of energy, because when I would try to engage her in any activity she would sulk.

So, I was speaking with the woman I adopted her from and found out that my puppy's sister is still waiting to be adopted - these pups don't have a lot of time to be saved, either. I have been going back and forth on what to do. I know my dog loves other dogs, but I've heard that two same-sex dogs at home could be a problem... I've heard a lot of stuff. Help!!

I know that periodontal disease is contagious, and that you can catch it from kissing a person who has it. So if I have done this... how do I stop myself from catching it?

Okay, I know that periodontal (gum) disease is contagious. I've read if you kiss/make-out with someone who has this it will cause gum disease. So, what if you have made out with a person who has this? How do you stop yourself from catching it. I brushed my teeth thoroughly and used mouth wash, am I safe?

My family is planning a trip to Disney World in Orlando. We are all older now (older teens - young 20's) and want to go back and experience things that we didn't appreciate as kids. It's so expensive, and I know that there are deals out there. Anyone have any good references for booking a trip for 5 adults?

My father lacks in managerial talent. He is way to nice of a boss. I want to send him to a convention that will help him learn how to manage his employees better.

So, I've read that hamsters can catch human colds, and to avoid contact with them. I won't be handling him and I will not go near his cage, but he sleeps in my bedroom. I'm not sure if I am risking getting him sick by sleeping in the same room as him. Unfortunately everyone in my house is sick so I can't put him in another room... will he be okay??

So, I'm a little confused. I just finished watching FMA and was a bit upset with the ending... and now I'm hearing about FMA: Brotherhood?

Is this a continuation or a different take on the original?

My brother lives with four other guys and he is the youngest of our friends (we're between 23-28) so this is a big deal! We can't have a keg because the house is on a college campus but anyways I would love some other ideas. Ice Luge... perhaps?

I have read so much about when the proper time to clean the cage is and there are just so many different opinions. I believe cleaning the cage once a week is all right, but then I wonder about the food in the cage... how long can it stay there w/o being harmful to him? I change the water every.

Also, I use CareFresh bedding but I wonder if I can mix it with something like Timothy hay. He seems to want more of a natural feeling bedding and the CareFresh is very soft, but he had an allergic reaction to the Eco bedding.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

I was burning pictures onto a disc. The folder contained some videos, too. It said the file was to big so I removed some and then I guess it started to burn... not sure really. But the program isn't responding and it's been about 30 minutes (suppoed to take 5:45). So, I tried ending the program - nothing. I tried taking the disc out - it won't let me.

But it's still making a noise like it's burning something.

What should I do? I want to go to bed!

I need to find a a small device that beeps constantly, maybe ever fifteen seconds or so. If I could plug it into an outlet that would be better. Thanks so much :)

I'm going to be driving from California back home to Boston within the first two weeks of December. I know snow isn't usually too much of a concern until the middle of December but I'm not sure how it would be in places like Colorado and Nebraska. I am trying to plan my route... should I avoid these states?

How long is it to fly to England from Boston? Also... any ideas on prices if I would go in February 2010? Is it really cold there? Would staying in London be best... or is it not very safe? I'm sure there are bad parts. I would be going by myself and I know no one that has ever been there so... it's very intimidating. Ah!
