Well basically my best friends 1 year old cat was hit by a car a day or two ago and she is so so upset and was saying that she didn't have a kitten for last years birthday and won't have one for this birthday and says she just wants him back:( her birthday is at the end of the month and although I have already bought her a birthday present I was thinking of getting her a kitten, she loves them and after she finally convinced her parents to let her have one it died. I was going to check with her mum tomorrow if she would be okay with me getting her one and if she thinks my friend would like it, I was thinking of it to be a surprise. What do you think,? I'm not sure if it is a nice idea or insensitive because she only lost hers a few days ago. Her birthday is in about 20 days, thanks!

i have just been discharged from CAMHS for treatment from an eating disorder and i wanted to send a thank you letter to the psychologist that i was seeing but im not sure what to write? i dont want to write too much and make it sound stupid! any ideas? thanks:)

i have always been the problem child, my sister has never had any problems but i always cause my parents stress and agro..i feel so guilty! i am a horrible person and have developed an eating disorder, depression and am always so angry! i feel like a failure and my parents deserve better! why am i like this? i have had a good upbringing! what can i do to stop feeling like this?

im going on holiday in about 4 days(early july) and i am really like to read a lot both on holiday and at home and for this reason it takes up quite a lot of space in my case to take all the books i want and for ages i really want a kindle. so i was thinking of asking my parents if i could have one that i have found for £65 second hand that has been unused as a early birthday present even though its in august..do you think its a good idea because i would definetly use it?

i see a psychologist weekly because i have anorexia and bulimia/depression and decreasing weight problems..

the lady wants me to eat 3 meals a day including toast and orange juice for breakfast but i dont like eating that much in a day

this is what i have eaten today:

breakfast- nothing

lunch- small brown bread ham sandwich with a bit of humous

dinner- chicken salad

snack/desert after dinner- 120 cal chocolate bar

the psycholgist wants me to eat the toast and juice for breakfast on top of that at least, so my question is that too much food? because im really scared to get fat

what would happen if i was to refuse to be weighed at CAMHS outpatient for bulimia type EDNOS? my weight isnt dangerous or anything, infact im a bit over normal i think. but would they just say okay?

i go to camhs for depression and an eating disorder and the other day, i told the psychologist lady i go to see once a week that i have suicidal thoughts a lot..i begged her not to tell my mum because i didnt want her to know! she said she wont for the time being and we will start thinking about anti depressant medication, but now im paranoid that she is going to go behind my back and everyone is going to come after me! and now since i told her i have been so worried i wont eat and its making the thoughts worse because its my biggest secret i have never told anyone!

what will she do? will she go behind my back and tell mum anyway? im so scared because now she knows what do i do :'(

i have a type of anorexia and have been given a meal plan and a food diary to write in so the psychologist can see that i am eating...but i havent been eating what i am supposed to be and have been throwing the food away...what will happen if i tell her that i have been lying about eating the food i havent in the food diary?

basically i have been referred to camhs by my doctor and i have an appointment with them this week for eating disorder and low self esteem. but i am really terrified because i have no idea what they do there and what to expect? what will they ask me? will they check for other mental disorders apart from eating disorders? thanks, anybody with experience would be extra helpful :)
