Accidentally put a *tiny* bit of the wrong fluid into my car, is it ok?
Filled window cleaner fluid in my new car, but the cleaner fluid container is in a different spot under the hood. Like an idiot I put about a cap full of wiper fluid into what I'm assuming is the engine oil container right next to the engine. I caught myself early, but since a couple of drops mixed into the engine oil, will it be ok?
16 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs3 years agoCan I bend past 90 degrees after a hip replacement?
Im 21 years old and I play hockey (goalie) and I have been told that it is ok for me to go back to playing by my surgeon. However, I've heard a couple of times that I'm not able to go past 90 degrees (never from my surgeon) when bending my torso and leg/joint. However this is problematic for me if I intend to stretch my hamstrings. Furthermore with some of the weird goalie injuries that I've seen, is it downright dangerous beyond reason to continue playing despite the fact that these injuries can happen to anyone?
2 AnswersInjuries4 years agoHow do women feel about Scars?
I'm 21 and I'm going to have a hip replacement in June to fix a problem I've had for awhile, that is very similar to hockey and soccer players who have a hip impingement. However, I've heard that surgical scars are a turn-off for women. Since I'm taking a girl out in July almost 2 full months after the surgery (early June, late July), and I'm an athletic person (para-Olympic type athlete) who plays sled hockey would my scar be a massive turn-off?
I'm comparable to the runner in this video.
2 AnswersSingles & Dating5 years agoWho is at fault (car road rage)?
So I went at a stop sign on a 4 lane road (2 lanes each direction) and another guy went at the same time. He floored it and decided to cut me off almost hitting my car so he could cut another car off in his original lane and immediately brake to an almost dead stop to turn left. I had my window open and did a scratching my head type flipping him off. He immediately floors it again and since I was now in the left lane passing a semi he goes into the opposite directions middle lane he then rolls down his window and yells at me. So who was in the wrong in the eyes of the law. I know with concealed carry firearms the law states you cannot be the one to escalate which I kind of did from flipping him off but he obviously got road rage. So if he hit me for example would I be at fault?

1 AnswerMental Health7 years agoHow much is GPA considered in a job interview?
So at this point in my life, I still have a few things to work out. I started in Mechanical Engineering and with my head about to explode from the 3+ hours of homework each night, and the final semester grade of a 1.8 (Yeah I know its bad) I found that engineering is definitely not for me. Then I switched to business and was doing well until I bombed an exam, got a slightly lower grade on a paper than I was expecting (I hated that PhD. that thought he was smarter than everyone) but never told him that and was a little shocked.
But anyway, so first semester was horrible, second semester was horrible considering I got a 3.26 in high school, but not as bad as first semester.
So now I'm applying to a community college just to see if I can learn how to play the game and hopefully pull the GPA up enough to transfer to a different school which requires at least a 2.0 to transfer (my cumulative right now is 1.85).
I don't know if I just haven't found what I'm looking for yet but I just haven't been overly excited at all right now.
ANYWAY. So I'm afraid that after community college, and transferring to the other school when I'm over a 2.0 (hoping to start getting deans list) that even doing well after attacking it again, that I still might not have a 3.0 at the end of college.
So how much is GPA taken into account if you have for example a 2.75, and how much are accomplishments outside the classroom or your overall interest and work ethic considered in an interview?
3 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment7 years agoInline skating to help learn to ice skate?
So I'm 19 and tried to ice skate for the first time in my life last year so when I was 18. I fell numerous times and gave up. I really want to be able to skate and casually play hockey, but my mother says that I simply cant learn because I never tried when I was really young.
Now, I've never learned to inline skate either (because I never had a pair not because I'm just that uncoordinated). So this summer if I purchase a pair of inline skates will I be able to
A, learn how to inline skate and
B, use this to transition to ice skating skills?
1 AnswerIce Skating7 years agoHow well do I have to do on homework this semester?
If 75% is made up of exams and 25% is made up of homework (and quizes but we'll combine them to make it easier)
assuming I got 100% on all of my exams I would need to get only 7% of the total credit for my quizes right?
The actual math is that I have 50% for all homework/quizes and I have an 80% average on my quizes so wouldn't I have a at least above a 80%? with everything weighted?
50% of homework would be 12.5%?

80% quizes?
5 AnswersMathematics7 years agoRetainer Wont Fit?
I stopped wearing my retainer for like a month and now I have an "open" bite which means I have a gap in between my top row of teeth and bottom teeth when my jaw is completely closed. There is no over or under bite and all the back teeth are in the same place as they were when the braces came off. Basically the teeth in front have slowly rotated approx 10-20 degrees (looking at them from the side of the tooth/mouth) so that they need to essentially be pulled back into place by the retainer.
I visited the orthodontist and they told me to wear it all the time and see if it goes back otherwise I may need to do braces again. However every time I put the retainer in it feels like it is doing work. My question is:
Should I put the retainer in and see if it slowly over a period of 2-3 weeks goes back in place by itself?
Or should I try to very painfully force it into its original position over 4-5 days?
2 AnswersDental7 years agoRelationships in heaven?
I did a lot of rambling in this question so if you skip to the last two paragraphs it may help. I didnt quite know how to get my thought on this page efficiently but it may also be beneficial to read the entire thing. I dont know either way but please try to answer this question understanding that I follow the Catholic faith, but am seeking wisdom. Thanks for your help and time - God Bless,
Im sure this question has been beat to death on answers before, but I guess I'll give it a shot. So understand that reading this it may sound childish in many ways, but I'm trying to find my place in life and I believe this will help so bare with me.
I read somewhere that Heaven will be an extension of life on Earth and we will be given eternity in paradise to pursue our Earthly, God given talents and interests. However what I was fuzzy on was the meeting new people kinda thing. You see, I'm curious about this, (this is an example) if I see someone on TV, and become fascinated with meeting this person based on the way they talk, their interests, etc.
So kinda like when I listen to an interview with Eric Clapton, I think to myself man I would love to spend time with him, jamming, talking, whatever... through Heaven would I be able to start a friendship type relationship (sounded weird... become friends with) Clapton in Heaven assuming he makes it there.
Or to really dumb it down and sound childish so I can dumb it down and try to get my thoughts on this metaphorical paper, if a teenager sees Kate Upton and says wow I would love to marry her, would they be able to become friends with her in Heaven (assuming there is no marriage in Heaven). Another kinda weird question is how do romantic relationships on Earth form in Heaven - so if a guy wants to be a non romantic partner of someone who is married, in Heaven, how will this work.
As I ramble I realize the Eric Clapton reference was the best question... I dont even understand myself at this point.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But basically bottom line: this is it (and yes I know this will sound childish again but I am curious), if I have never met someone before, but think they would be cool to get to know based on seeing this person's actions, mannerisms, small things that make them seem cool... they are of the opposite sex and married, but I wouldn't mind getting romantically involved with them because they are attractive, what happens to their current relationship in Heaven and how would this complicate the formation of a new relationship in Heaven?
Bonus: - If someone is hell bound, would God allow for me to sacrifice myself for three days (I believe it was this long) like Jesus did for all of mankind, to save their soul from eternal damnation.
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoGanz Osteotomy and Hip Replacement?
I had a Ganz Osteotomy a couple of years ago to fix my hip displacea. This comppletely fixed the arthritis issues I was having, however now that I'm finally strong enough to start playing sport and getting a active lifestyle back I am noticing that my flexibility is AWFUL! For example when playing soccer (football for you Brits) I notice that following through on my kicks, I get small pops or cracks in my hip followed by sharp pain for a few seconds. This only happens when I flex too far. I have enough flexibility to walk/jog etc. But my main question is - will my flexibility improve and will I ever have "normal hips" that allow me to follow a moderately normal lifestyle?
Second Question, What age should I be looking at needing a hip replacement; and because of my ganz osteotomy one of my hips is positioned higher (approx. 10 degrees or 1.5 inches higher) than the other causing me to "wobble" when I walk. I was told by my physical therapist this would cause back problems as I get older as my spine is constantly flexing as I walk to keep my torso level. Will a future hip replacement cause my hips to balance out.
1 AnswerOther - General Health Care8 years agoStock ownership, dividends and clarification please?
I'm looking for a little clarification so I can do some research and long term investing. My question is basically asking for basic terms and clarification, for example, what are Type B stocks (found when researching dividends), and what is it called (and how does the average person acquire stocks that pay small amounts of cash back per quarter? For example how do board members make money, would it be possible if for example I won the lottery to buy 250,000 shares of GM or Apple stock and simply live off of the money I got back from the company quarterly?
Thanks for the help!

2 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police8 years agoVolunteer Firefighter work hours?
I currently hold a 40 hour/per week career but would like to be able to help out a little in the community by becoming a volunteer firefighter. Is this possible with my schedule? I'm assuming I can find more info from my local fire department... but before I even pursue this, is there any possibility that I would be working nights only for an 8 hour shift a few nights a week? My current career is flexible as far as coming in late as long as you finish your work by the end of the week...

3 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment8 years agoHow long can I go without insulin (Type 1)?
I am on an insulin pump which gives me a slow constant dosage and I take a large amount before or after a meal (not both). I know that high blood sugar can be contained through physical activity like swimming and running (I have gone swimming for 4 hours before with no insulin and maintained control of my blood sugars). Assuming I went on a vegetarian or low carbohydrate diet, could I technically live without insulin? What kind of physical shape would I have to maintain?
Again I have done this for hours at a time, just not for days, weeks etc.
Any estimates?
6 AnswersDiabetes8 years agoTraveling to all 48 continental states this summer? Destinations?
Going to visit all 48 continental states this summer on a motorcycle trip. Where should I go in each state? 1-3 destinations please... I want to go not look back until I come back into Ohio. I.e. go into Pennsylvania, go to two or three places on my way into New York while never going on the same route.
*Scratching my head* Should I be using a travel agent for this?
3 AnswersOther - Destinations8 years agoWhich language should I learn first?
I'm going to become trilingual. I am a native English speaker and am dead set on learning both Russian and German over the next two years. I know that German is more similar to English, but should this decide whether I actually learn German first. Is it like drinking (I should do the softer/easier stuff first?).
5 AnswersLanguages8 years agoBest .22LR lever action rifle (side fed like the original cowboy guns)?
Looking for a Ruger 10/22 takedown but all the distributors are out of stock and back ordered... So I tought I would practice with a lever action and feel like a cowboy. Any good .22LR lever actions out there that have a side fed magazine (push the rounds into the side of the receiver and therefore into the mag) instead of like a Henry that you simply put them into the front of the magazine.
I want one like this because honestly if I just wanted to load the mag from the front, I could go to Dick's and buy a BB gun.
