  • am I wrong for being upset with him?

I was talking to my fiance about wanting 1 or 2 more kids when he cut me off and said we are not having any more, he does not want any more kids. Our 2 kids were planned. Our son is 3 and our daughter is 1yr. I just really always pictured us having a big family. I'm really upset about the thought of not being able to have another baby, feeling their first lil kicks, the growing belly, the delivery (even tho its extremely painful, its the most amazing thing) watching them grow into toddlers and learn...it makes me really upset that he wants to get a vasectomy and I have basically no say. am I wrong here?

  • money for wedding gift?

I'm trying to plan our June 2011 wedding. We already live together so I don't need to make the traditional wedding gift registry for houseware items. Instead we were thinking of asking for money for our gift, to help us save for a deposit to buy our first home after the wedding. Has anyone heard of doing this or is it rude? How would I go about doing it politely?

  • spotting or implantation bleeding...?

I just had my period on the 12th or 13th but I started spotting again yesterday morning. I wasn't sure if it could be implantation bleeding this early (we are not trying for another baby but I am not on birth control either) or could it mean that something is wrong? Has anybody ever heard of this happening or have any idea what could cause it to happen.

  • really watery baby food...?

My daughter hates how runny the organic baby food is, so I was thinking I would just start making her baby food myself. The problem is, I don't know where to start. I bought a bunch of fresh fruits and veggies but where do I go from here. Last night I baked some apples with a little cinnamon on them but its so hard to mash them with a spoon or fork. Even my hand mixer wasn't much help...anyone have any tips?

  • I thought I was pregnant but...?

Normally my period comes right around the 4th of the month but this month it didn't come untill yesterday morning (the 12th) so I was thinking that I was pregnant. I took two pregnancy tests and they came back negative. But the thing is, my period has been really heavy and painfull and normally it's really light and pain free for the most part. It usually lasts 2-3days but shows no signs of stopping soon. I was wondering what could cause my period to come a week late and be so heavy and painful.

  • I just got engaged and...?

I am totally clueless about plannning a wedding. I am giving myself about a year to plan the wedding but was just wondering if anyone had any tips, words of advice or ideas. We have been together for almost 7yrs so I have some ideas but would love some more. Any positive feedback is welcome. I was looking for ideas for themes, colors, and wondering if it would be a good idea to involve my nieces and nephews in the wedding. They will all be under 5yrs old at the time of the wedding. Or should I just have my son and daughter be the flower girl and ring bearer? My son would be almost 4 and my daughter will be almost 2.

  • Help Me Tone Up My Body....PLEASE!!!?

I gained 50lbs during the pregnancy with my son (2 1/2yrs ago) and only 8lbs with the pregnancy with my daughter (4months ago) and now that I have lost about 30 of the pounds "left over" from my son I just cant seem to loose those last 20lbs or tone up my body. I just stopped breastfeeding my daughter and I want to do more to lose those last 20lbs. I was wondering if any moms had some "real" tips to help me loose the rest of the weight and tone my body up. I am having the biggest body issue with my lower stomach. And since I do have 2 kids I can not afford or have the time to go to the gym.

  • 4month old baby and no period?

My daughter is 4months old now and when she was 3 months old I got my period for the 1st time. I was due to get my period again a few days ago and didn't. I was wondering what could cause this to happen (other than pregnancy) since after the birth of my son my period when totally back to "normal". I also just weaned my daughter from breastfeeding since I had to return to work and it was too much to handle. Why would I be missing my period already?

  • 30 weeks pregnant, could it be preterm labor starting?

I am 30 weeks2days pregnant with my 2nd baby and feeling alot of contraction like feelings. At first I just figured they are braxton hicks but they are getting to be painful and more often now. This happened a few days ago(late at night) and I just layed down for a while and ended up falling asleep and when I woke up it wasn't happening anymore. I am home alone with my almost 2yr old son, so I can't lay down and rest for more than 2seconds. Then I woke up in the middle of the night last night and it started again and hasn't stopped yet this morning (it's 9:20am) I don't know anything about preterm labor or if it starts the same way as fullterm labor. What should I do if this keeps going? Would my baby girl be okay if she is born now? I'm worried

  • Wall border in my son's room?

I have the peel and stick wall border in my son's room. The package said it could be removed and put back up. Unfortunately I threw the package out, not expecting to move again, but we found a nicer place that better suits our needs and I'm not passing it up. I really don't want to have to leave the wall border and appliques behind. I was thinking maybe using wax paper and sticking the border and appliques to that but I don't know if it will work. Please help me, I need ideas that will help me save the border and appliques to put up in his new room.

  • Birthing classes....should I or shouldn't I?

This is my second baby and I did not go to any birthing classes with my son. I was thinking a lot lately about taking birthing classes this time around. I had a really long and hard birth with my son and didn't know if taking birthing classes would've helped and could maybe help this time around.

So what were your expiriences with birthing classes. Do you think they made a difference

  • Oil prices and average cost....mommy's please help?

Hello, my boyfriend and I are looking to move into a new apartment but we have to pay for the oil for heat and hot water. We have always had those costs included in previous places so we are clueless. There are hot water base board heaters throughout and the place in well insulated. We were wondering how much would/could it run us for the oil to heat the place. The place where we would get oil from, the price is 2.59. If you don't mind, could you tell me how much you pay on average for your place.

I know I handle my finances and I'm sure most other mom's do too. Please help me.

  • 26 weeks pregnant and not feeling my baby move?

I normally feel like I have multiple babies in my belly because she kicks and moves so much, but I have not felt her moving or kicking since early yesterday and I am concerned now. Is there anything I can do to try to get her to move to ease my mind that everything is still okay. (I had a miscarriage before this pregnancy so I know it is possible to happen to me again) I tried eating starburst and tootsie rolls to give her some sugar and move but that didn't work. I drank a bunch of water but that didn't work either. I don't know what else to do or what this could mean. Please help

  • Planning my own baby shower?

This is my second baby, I am due Sept 2nd. My mother has not yet planned anything for me. I told her I will just help her plan something small since I am having a girl this time and will need some stuff. I was looking for tips or ideas about what to do and how to go about planning everything. Also my son's 2nd birthday is July 8th and I wanted to have the baby shower around that time, would it be bad to have both celebrations the same day?

  • stackable washer and dryer?

I just moved into a bigger apartment that has washer/dryer hookup (YAY!) and was looking to buy a stackable washer and dryer since that's all there is room for. Where could I buy one? Are certain brands better than others? I know there is a big price difference among the brands but is the quality really better? I have never owned a washer and dryer before so I am clueless.
