We recently bought a shih-tzu to keep our other shih tzu company. She constantly barks and growls at my husband. Even if he is asleep she does this all night long. My husband has tried to gain her trust by trying to give her treats. We have had her for almost 3 weeks now and her behavior towards him is getting alot worse. I already love her so much but the barking and growling is getting old and the hubby is getting fed up with it. Any suggestions on getting her to stop this?

At my place of work we have a smallish semi feral cat colony. The boss wants to rehome everybody but nobody wants cats that cant be petted. They have to be relocated or rehomed because they are at an assisted living facility. I want to make sure they are moved somewhere safe, so what i want to do is move them to my house not inside but outside because that is what they are used to and they panic if they are inside. So how would i make sure they stayed around my house and not take off? Do i bring them a couple at a time and crate them until they are okay with hanging around? Also how much food would i go through in a week with 10+ adults and 10+ kittens? Any advice is greatly appreciated... also the entire colony is being spayed and neutered and tested for illness before being moved.

I have been looking for a job because my husband has been paying all the bills since my job ended. I found one that is really good paying and it will be alot of hrs. my husband works 5 days a week. He is mad because i want to take the job, but is saying "Then i'll never get to see you." He says the same thing when he is at work and i go to my mom or my sisters house. I tried applying at the place he works and he says "I dont think you will like working here." Am i supposed to just sit at home and be bored all day?

I would like to put up a Christmas tree this year but last year we didnt have any luck in this our 2 kittens destroyed it within 2 days. My kittens are now cats, and we have added another cat and 2 dogs to our family. If i put up a tree this year how can i train the animals to not mess with the tree? We have tried bitter apple spray to keep them from chewing on it, but it doesnt keep them from trying to climb it. They have plenty of things to climb and chew on other than the tree. Please Help....
