For homework, I am doing a gothic description of a not-so-gothic place e.g. McDonalds. Could you give me some gothic phrases I could maybe use somewhere in the description? I'm not asking you to write it or anything, just some ideas. Thanks!

I'm 13 years old and a soprano. I've transposed it down from the Liza Minelli version, because my voice breaks a lot when I'm nervous. Will it be a good audition song for applying to an agency?

Just a question out of curiosity.

I have been struggling on a Yamaha PSR E403 for years now. I'm taking my Grade 5 piano in autumn and I want a decent (digital) piano for under £1000. I know that I'm not going to get an amazing piano with that, but we're having money problems, so what's the best I can get?

I am a 13 year old girl and I really need some book recommendations. I don't like typical teenage girly books like the Georgia Nicolson series, and I've gotten very tired of vampires/werewolves. I like really emotional books, or really weird books. Here are some that I've read and loved:

Starseeker- Tim Bowler

A Little Princess- Frances Hodgson Burnett

I found The House of Night series, Meg Cabot's Avalon High, and Sophie Mckenzie's books okay, and I liked Twilight when I first read it.

I've tried all the epic books like Gone With the Wind and stuff, but I don't really have patience with them.

I used to go to lots of sports clubs, but then I moved to a new school and my homework, social life and music have taken up too much time for me to do any clubs. I'm not worried about my diet, I know I am a healthy weight, and I'm fine with my flexibility, but I want to become stronger in my upper body, be able to run long distances easily and sprint fast.

Can one of you make a fitness regime for me to stick to and build up my fitness slowly? I swear I'm not doing this to lose weight, I just want to be a bit better at sport.

The brief says to design an interesting, healthy snack and packaging which will encourage young people to eat more healthily. We don't have to actually make the snack, but we have to make the net of a box on a computer program called 2D Design, so the box can't be too complicated. Can anyone give me any ideas?

She deliberately points out my flaws in front of a crowd of people, such as the occasional pimple or my hair, and insults me. Then she infuriatingly says, "It's not a bad thing," when it so obviously is! And then my good features that she doesn't have, she'll use against me. Say hypothetically, I had eyes which were quite big, and she had small ones. So she'd say, "You have such scary eyes, they're so big compared to your face! They look out of place." She has TONS of clothes, so I can't wear the same clothes more than twice, and it's very stressful figuring out what to wear. Basically everything great about her which isn't so great about me, she'll insult. Publically.

But then we have tons of inside jokes that no-one else understands, and we share a passion for music, and when she's being nice she's so nice. She's very protective of me- I can't sit with anyone else and I have to be with her like all the time. I don't know what to do! I'm too shy to confront her. Please help me. I'm not trying to be bitchy, I'm just ranting out everything I haven't been able to say.

I'm writing a piece and I haven't even done any music theory exams, so I'm really not sure if what I've got is correct. Please help? Ideally non-pay, and virus-free.

I'm 13 and go to an all girls school. Don't say I'm too young to have a boyfriend, because I'm not looking for one. I just feel that boy mates are kind of essential- I am so bored of being around just girls all the time. There's no boys/mixed schools near my school either. Me and a friend were planning to go boy-hunting, but we just don't know where to meet them! Please only answer if you have a helpful comment.

My school is doing a science photography competition, and you have to take a photo of something scientific and write a paragraph about the science of it. I have taken a picture of a just blown out candle with smoke coming out of it, a bit like this-

I want to write about how smoke is formed, but all the explanations on the internet are so complicated. I want to convince the judges that I haven't copied and pasted, that I fully understand it.

Could someone explain it to me, or suggest something easier I could write about? Thanks

I'm going on holiday to California in Easter and I'm going to Ontario Mills. It has loads of brands that I love, but I wanted to ask how low the prices are in the hollister and abercrombie outlet? Am I better off going to New York, my friends have told me the stuff is really cheap there, like less than half price.

I ideally want a 3 piece set with a bikini top, tankini top and bottoms, so i can decide which is more suitable. I don't want to turn up to a swimming lesson in a bikini.
