I just got a flying squirrel, I've been researching them for forever and i finally found one! He wasn't ever held by his previous home ( in the back room of a shady pet store) and he was handled very harshly. When the lady handed him to me, he bit me twice, I don't blame him. I would bite me too! He was so scared! She was squeezing him so tight and pressing his face into his stomach so he couldn't bite. He's not really tame at all, which doesn't bother me, just another challenge. I got him a good size cage full of toys and places to sleep to help calm him down and feel safe. What are some ways I can earn his trust? Also any info on flying squirrels couldn't hurt! How do I make him feel safe?

I'm getting one on Sunday and I dot know whether to get a male or female. I'm looking for the calmer gender. Don't waste you (and mine) time trying to tell me they're not pets and I'm a terrible person. What is the difference between te two breeds?

I live in Austin and I'm looking for a flying squirrel. I've researched them for 2 years and already have a cage but te person I was supposed to get one from bailed on me. the cage is all decorated and I am so sad that I can't find one! There's not any on craigslist and I've googled breeders but there aren't any that have them right now.

My rat robin, who's only 1 1/2 years old is lethargic, wheezing and has that red liquid (not blood, I forgot the name it's like phy- something) around his nose and eyes. He's been hiding out for a few days and looked a little weird but I didn't think anything of it, he's really really shy. He's neutered so I know it's not testicular cancer or anything. He won't eat or drink and is barely walking around. His cage mate is totally fine and running around as usual, I love my rats and I'm so scared. The vet isn't open right now or I would take him. Help!!!!

What movies (documentary, action, adventure thriller etc) changed your life or majorly impacted your thinking or mindset, made you contemplate or stop and enjoy things

Its a longshot. I used to rent it all the time as a kid but I can't remember the name of it and it's killing me, It's like a compilation of 3/4 short films and one is about like a factory town and the other one is about people in a space ship and the last one is about this opera singer and a huge mansion and it turns out it was all in the imagination of a guy or somethig.

I have always been the person that people trust with their relationship and friendship problems. I'm a sophomore in highschool and never had a boyfriend, I'm the funny, sometimes loud and seemingly confident, tomboy. I'm liked by a lot of people because I've learned to be myself and I've started to love myself, I don't feel like I need a boyfriend to be happy but you know sometimes it sounds so nice. All my friends are flirty and mess with their hair everytime they talk to cute boys, I just don't. I get too trusting too quick and I just don't flirt. I think it's fake. I've never kissed anyone and I'm totally fine with that. But everyone around me is so engulfed with the idea of loving a boy that they forget to love themselves. I just sometimes want to feel beautiful on te outside. How do I make myself feel beautiful on the outside, because I will feel more confident and happy with myself.

He is a 2 year old Rhodesian ridgeback/Shepard/Pitt mix. He weighs about 100 lbs so he's a big boy. He just tried to eat something out of the trash can and I did what I do everytime, I sternly said his name and when he ran to hide behind my mom I just stared at him and usually I grab him by his collar and take him to a different room then walk away. But this time, when he ran and hid behind my mom and I went towards him, he GROWLED at me. Like a warning growl. He has only growled at me only one time before and I corrected it and he was fine. But he is a very sweet boy, never bit anyone or anything. Very protective over the family but a great dog. I want to get this before it gets bad but I have no idea what to do. Or how to handle it and show him I'm boss without scaring him

My dad left when I was 10. He was abusive and I found out after he left that he was on and off drugs my whole life and was skitzophrenic I'm 15 and I struggle with a lot of anxiety problems because of the abuse and his sudden absence. I'm also paranoid I have skitzophrenia because of my anxiety and some symptoms. I can't spend the night at people houses because I have panic attacks because of abuse(not sexual) in my childhood. I'm about to be 16. I don't know hat to do. It totally controls my life.its hard to make friends because I can't trust people very easily.... The panic attacks are really bad. And I'm afraid to go places because I'm afraid I'll have one. I don't want to be drugged up on anti anxiety pills. What can I do to control my anxiety?

so ive had my rat since she was about 4weeks old and she is now almost a year old, shes never bitten me or anything before but lately shes been acting a little skittish. it might have to due with the fact that i just got a baby boy rat and theyre staying in the same cage ( but separated and dont tell me about how can get pregnant an blah blah, i know what im doing ive had alot of rats before). but hes about 5 1/2/ weeks old right now. it might just be that shes jealous but i was just holding her and she started to chew on my fingers, not the kind of cute chew like she started to lightly bite me and started to bite harder ( it didnt hurt ) but i dont know why shes doing this. i also got her from a jank chicken breeder guy and ive noticed before that she doesnt look like any of my other rats and ive though about her not being very domesticated bloodwise. i mean shes craaazy hyper and is that dark brown/blackish color and kind of rough fur. anyways, is it her hormes that are causing her to act up or what?

I have this baby rat I thought was a girl but its a boy and mom said no boys but I really like him :) and I'm trying to decide whether or not I neuter him so I can keep him, I just want him to be safe. Of course since he is so small it is a very high risk procedure and there a large possibility of infection and stuff like that but I don't want him to die in surgery when he could have been with a different owner who wanted rat babies ya!know? Help?

Well I went to canton today and of course I had I stop by and see the baby rats ;) and of course fell in love with the cutest scrawniness smallest one ( and the cutest ) and HAD to get her! She was so cute and misha needed a cage buddy anyways... but her turned out to be a him. But moms rule is no boy rats so, I think in a few weeks I will get him neutered. If I do get him fixed, would it be okay for him to live with my 8 month old female rat, misha? Or would they're be constant fighting and chaos? And most important of all, is it a fairly safe precedure? I love him very much but im not sure if i can justify spending a hundred dollars when people are starvig ya'know? its hard. I am trying to figure All this out I mean I could spend a hundred dollars getting him fixed now, or I could get anothe female and most likely have her end up with tumors and having to be put to sleep like my last one, and that costs about $50, or get her spayed which probably costs about $60 or more! Help? .Thoughts??!

so i have had discharge for about 2 years, yeah that long. i dont really get cramps. im 14, 5'4 and an A32/34. i think my mom got hers around 11 but i mean why i havent i had mine yet?

im 14, going into high school and i dont know who i am. im friends with people but some of them make me feel like someone who i dont want to be. like i dont like who im becoming. i also am in the stage where i dont know what i like and what i hate. its like im trapped in my own mind! i also have major problems spending the night at peoples houses. i get homesick and end up needing to go home. its stupid! and im so embarrassed! i only have a couple friends where that doesnt happen. how can i change this and be more secure in who i am?

so i have this friend, we've been friends for close to 6 months. we're totally different though. like he dates alot of hot girls and i dont date at all. ( we're both 14) hes really cute but i dont want to have feelings for him because it would be hard to be in a relasionship with someone who doesnt share your beliefs.

anyways last night we were at a pool party and he said i was beautiful...multiple times. he always hugs me really tight, every time he sees me. then aftrewards we were txting and he said it again. but i dont like to be complimented so i asked who it was on the phone cause i thought someone couldve been messing with me but he called and asked why i asked that because i am very beautiful. and he says im cute when i say dorky stuff... is this normal or does he like me? oh and he has a girlfriend but she lives a few hours away so they never see eachother.

im 14, flat chested (32/34 A) and i havent had my period yet! i regularly masturbate( and cant get to orgasm) but it just feels....numb. i havent been to the doctor in a long time lol. so i dont really know whats going on.would masturbating more induce my period? i dont know to just wait or to tell a doctor.

well my ipod has been acting weird when i try to get apps from the app store (from my ipod).... so i decided to try and purchase them from the computer but when i try and drag it onto the side of the page onto my ipod thingy to download it shows the little cross through the circle when i try that so how do i get it onto my ipod??? thanks!

ok so im getting a dog but i dont know whether i should get a german shepard or a chocolate lab. i want a laid back couch potato but will run with me on my daily runs. i also want a protective dog that would defend me if something were to happen. and that gets along great with other animals, kids, other dogs and people. im not set on these 2 breeds but if you decide you would like to suggest another breed no small dogs please and nothing that requires a whole bunch of grooming or is aggressive. thanks!!
