  • What is the meaning of these letters?

OK, so I've been living under a rock for the last 50 years. I notice that internet communications are shortened to a few letters. such as: lol. What does this mean? Is there a dictionary I could refer to that explains these abbreviations so that I could figure out what the heck y'all are talking about?

  • Is Rock and Roll addictive?

The radio in my workshop wouldn't turn on this morning. No big deal (I was thinking to myself), I'll just get a new one the next time I go to the Electronic store. I proceeded with the day's work, but I found it difficult to stay focused on the job. After 2 hours I couldn't stand it any more. I locked up the shop and went directly to the store and bought a radio. Now I'm Rockin' again and the work in my shop is progressing nicely. I never knew how important music was to me until now. Is there any hope for me?

  • My computer has a problem playing video?

When viewing a video from the internet, it will run about a minute and then stop for a minute (freeze-frame) then resume running about a minute, then stop... over and over again. It takes an hour to watch a 5 minute video. Doesn't matter what website I'm on. Can anyone explain what's happening here? Otherwise the computer works fine.

  • A permanent fix for lawnmower tires?

I've owned several riding mowers over the years, and all of them have one problem common to all of them. The tires go flat after a day or two.Every time I want to use it, I first have to air up the tires. I tried that tire "slime" sold at the auto parts store but that stuff doesn't hold up very long, I still have to air up each time. Are there any better tires to be had?
