  • Why do I hear so much static from my mic? Logitech G330?

I bought these only last year and this problem just started occurring about 2 months ago. I've tried connecting it to the usb connector that came with the headset and I've tried plugging it in the jack directly. Either way I still hear lots of static. I updates my laptop's sound driver, but that did not fix the problem. If someone can tell me how to fix this or what's going on, thanks.

  • The right side of my throat hurts when I swallow?

Only the right side and only when I swallow, yawn, or try to touch it from the outside (I try to poke it through my neck). I checked with a flashlight and didn't see anything stuck, only that the right side is more red than the left. This has occurred before, but it went away by itself. I expected this to pass by quickly too, but its been 4 days or so this time and it feels like its getting worse. Should I just gargle salt water or something?

  • Physics Question: Magnitude and Electric Field?

At what distance from the particle does its electric field have a magnitude of 12.0 N/C ?

The particle's charge is -3.00 nC

    E=electric field

    k=8.99*10^9

    q=charge

    r=radius

I used E=k(q/(r^2)) and got 0.667, but apparently that is not correct. What am I doing wrong and how do I find the right answer?

  • pV diagram in the figure shows a cycle of a heat engine?

    The pV diagram: http://session.masteringphysics.com/problemAsset/1...

Find the pressure of the gas at point a.

I have that the answer is 12.3 atm, but I'm not sure how they got this answer. I think I need to use the ideal gas equation, but how can I use it when I'm not told what T is? If someone can explain the process, that would be great. :3

  • Mass of canister and energy lost?

An astronaut in space cannot use a scale or balance to weigh objects because there is no gravity. But she does have devices to measure distance and time accurately. She knows her own mass is 89.7 kg, but she is unsure of the mass of a large gas canister in the airless rocket. When this canister is approaching her at 3.20 m/s, she pushes against it, which slows it down to 1.00 m/s (but does not reverse it) and gives her a speed of 2.50 m/s.

What is the mass of this canister?

How much kinetic energy is "lost" in the collision?

  • Mass of an unknown planet?

I'm working on a problem in physics and I cannot figure out how they got this answer...

Problem: Your spaceship lands on an unknown planet. To determine the characteristics of this planet, you drop a 1.30kg wrench from 5.00m above the ground and measure that it hits the ground 0.811s later. You also do enough surveying to determine that the circumference of the planet is 62,400km.

    a) What is the mass of the planet, in kg?

    b) Express the planet's mass in terms of the earth's mass

    Answers:

    a) 2.25x10^25 kg

    b) 3.76 Me( mass of earth)

Please explain and give equations as to how they reached this answer.

    Thanks!

  • Should I know if I have a blood clot?

Before I went to sleep last night, there was this pain in my leg. I didn't do any strenuous exercise before so it can't be a cramp. I woke up this morning and the pain is still there. I hurts the back side of my upper leg. I can't feel any swelling, but it does hurt. I also take birth control pills so I'm kind of worried.

Should I really be worried? What are the chances I have a blood clot anyways?

  • How do I find my friend code? Pokemon Black?

I already beat the first gym leader. I have the pal pad from that lady's assistant. I thought I was supposed to talk to the lady in the middle on the second floor of the Pokecenter, but she just says that I have no friend codes in my pal pad so I can't connect.

How does this work? Am I missing something?

  • Raising betta fry? Java moss?

I was thinking of breeding Siamese fighting fish, and I have come across several ways to feed the fry. I found that the most simple way is to first feed them infusoria for the first 2 days or so, and then move on to baby brine shrimp.

In searching up ways to make infusoria (since my local pet store doesn't have infusoria tablets), I have found that simply putting java moss in the fish tank will help create infusoria. I plan to use this method and I have the following questions:

How much java moss should I buy in order to create enough infusoria?

Where is the best place to get it (website, since my local pet store does not have it)?

Betta fry only need infusoria for 2-3 days right? Then I can move on to baby brine shrimp? Or do I need to wait for them to grow a bit bigger?

How big of a tank should I use?

    Thanks.

  • Car engine dies after I release the gas pedal?

I have a old 1999 Ford Explorer and it has quite a lot of miles on it. Today I was going back home from work and my car wouldn't start. It was working fine this morning when I drove to work. The battery isn't dead, so I can't figure out what would be the problem.

I did try a number of things like stomping on the gas pedal and found out that the engine would immediately die once I release the gas pedal. A friend told me that there was also a lot of smoke coming out of the back of the Ford.

Help? My car is still in that parking lot. :(

  • I walk for 5 hours straight and my feet hurt?

Like I said in the title, I walk around the store helping people for 5 hours straight. During the weekends, its six hours. In the last two hours of my shift, my feet just hurt like crazy and I have to resort to walking on the sides of my feet. Is there anything I can do to help my feet not hurt so much while I'm working?

  • My chicken is acting rather tired...?

I have a nearly 2 year old hen who's on the top of the pecking order. She's been acting funny lately. She hasn't been eating as much as she used to, lost some weight, and instead of normally being quite active, she just sits down on the ground and rests/sleeps. She hasn't been laying eggs either. This has been going on for about 2 weeks or so. Is she just taking a break? Or is she getting old?

  • Wrote a poem in Japanese?

In class, we have to make poems in Japanese. My teacher said she likes everything but my last sentence and I say other wise. I don't know which online translator is the best so I didn't post a link. A native (or almost native) Japanese speaker is preferred/needed.

    In English this basically means:

Chocolate is the candy of love

You give chocolate to your father on father's day

You give chocolate to your mom on mother's day

You give chocolate to your lover on Valentine's day

You give chocolate to your friend when she's sad

Because chocolate is the candy of love

Because you love them, you give them chocolate.

    But most importantly, love yourself.

    So, go eat chocolate

Because chocolate is the candy of love

    --------------------------------------...

Once again, please tell me if the last sentence/stanza fits or not because I really think it's necessary, but my teacher wants me to get rid of it.

    --------------------------------------...

Precautions: Please don't take my poem and claim it is your own work. If this is similar to another poem you have read, please do not say that I "stole" his or her idea. I really did think of this myself.

  • I'm trying to transfer my laptop screen to my TV?

    I have a sony VAIO model PCG-7A2L.

I correctly connected all of the wires to the TV(had my dad check as well), but when I pressed Fn+F7(I think that's what I'm supposed to press), nothing happened. Waited for a while and still got nothing. Am I pressing the wrong button? Or is there just something wrong with my laptop?

  • I am having a problem with the search function when I open "My Computer"?

When I open "My Computer" I get the normal screen. When I click search or Ctrl + F, I get the search toolbar to pop up to my left and that dog appears at the bottom, but the that's it. The dog is just there, it doesn't ask anything and I can't find anything(as in, it won't let me type into that bubble). I have already tried restarting my computer, and I really don't want to reboot it. I recently deleted some files to make some extra room, but I don't think I could've deleted this function.

This is becoming a real problem and is there any way to fix this?

Btw: I have a Sony Vaio laptop

Here's a link to a screen shot of what I'm talking about:
