Lisa has a choice between investing in her company’s 401(k) Plan which has a limited number of investment options OR investing in a taxable mutual fund with stellar performance. If Lisa has $10,000 to invest today (on which she has already paid taxes), what is her lost tax deferral for 12 months if she forgoes saving in the 401(k) Plan and instead buys into a mutual fund? Lately when I'm pressed for time and need a quick meal that isn't terrible for me, I've been making a salad with chopped romaine hearts and Schwann's Lean and Fit Spicy Chicken Breast. The chicken has a nice kick too it, but is by no means overpowering. It was pretty good with just a little bit of Light Ranch to dress it. I'm not aiming for it to be the healthiest salad ever, obviously, but would prefer to keep it on the slim side. Any veggie or something you think might go well with it to complete the salad? The chicken feels a little lonely.

PS I'm allergic to nuts!

I'm a 5'11" guy who weighs 170. I want to lose about 20 lbs and go back to 150. I'm not really interested in building much muscle, just losing that little bit of belly that seemed to form recently. Here is what I ate today, being conscientious but not too restricting. Let me know how I can improve it and lose that weight by the end of summer (I hope!) for when school starts. I find that I have time to work out about 3 times a week in which I do 45 minutes of pretty intense cardio, keeping my HR above 160 at all times.

Woke up at 12:30 PM.

2 PM: 2 soft-shell tacos with chicken, cheese, lettuce, corn pico. Total: 620 calories, 13g Fat, 30g carb, 21g protein.

6PM: Salad with romaine lettuce, small spicy chicken breast, and very small amount of light ranch dressing. Total: 200 calories, 8g Fat, 11.5g carb, 17g protein.

8PM: 1.5 servings of goldfish, half an apple sliced. Total: 300 calories, 10g fat, 48g carbs, 8g protein.

11PM: 1 serving of baby carrots. 35 calories, 0g fat, 8g carb, 1g protein.

The only thing I drink is water. I have it with every meal.

Overall: 1155 calories. 31g fat. 97.5g carbs. 47g protein. I probably won't have anything else. I try not to eat before bed, so if I should have something else, I'll have it now. I'd probably have some more of the spicy chicken (140 calories, 5g fat, 16g protein, 10g carbs). This would still only put me at 1295.. I feel like I've be careful, but not starving myself.. but the calorie count makes me look like I'm doing the latter!

I'm a dude and I'm thinking about ear piercings. I see guys wearing those little flat circles in their ears.. I'm not sure if they are gauged to fit in or if they are just flat earrings. Anyone know what I'm talking about? They are kindy edgy and punkish.. pics or the name of them would be helpful.

I have an interview tomorrow for an internship and the job duties includes IT Asset Hardware Audits.. does that just mean.. making sure hardware works? What do you think?

I'm visiting my boyfriend who spends the summers with family in Colorado, and am going to be staying with his parents. It's the first time I'll meet them and I'll be staying in their house for a week, so I thought it would be appropriate to bring a gift. I'm making my own little "gift basket" thing. They are a traditional, old Asian couple pretty much. I'm getting them some nice tea and a candle. I feel like one more gift would make for a good set..but what? Something sort of generic that anyone could appreciate. I know they like tea and candles. But yeah, any advice or input = awesome! :D Thanks.

Okay, I think it was for the PS1 or 2. You are a female character, it is an action game. You collect cards and make a deck. Each card is a specific magic spell / attack / summon. At the start of the dungeon a card is set to each of your four buttons. When you use a card, it gets discarded and a new one drawn. I think it was mostly an action game, not much RPG element to it. The only card I can remember is one where a ghost knight is summoned in front of you and cleaves an enemy. Again, an action type fighting, not RPG.

I'm a white male. I am considering applying for an Asian restaurant but feel a little nervous. Is it too weird for a white guy to work at an Asian restaurant? It is not a chain or anything -- its just a nice, asian bistro that is owned by a Chinese couple.

I do speak (not very well) Mandarin and Japanese, and spent my summer in Kobe, Japan, so I know a thing or two about asian food and culture. But I'm not asian.

I'm a guy and have been thinking about getting the top of my cartilage pierced with a tight, small silver hoop. I don't care much about what people insinuate about my sexuality, so don't bring that point up please. :)

Just wondering, do you think it looks good? I'm 20 years old and in college, so don't have to worry about professionalism for a few years. My style is pretty self defined, but if I had to categorize it would be somewhere between emo, punk, and geek chic.

So I really wanna do something drastic and dye my hair multicolored. I'm thinking about bleaching it and then dying the tips a color for 2 - 3 inches. I'm not sure what will look good though, or if this idea is even okay. Any suggestions?
