"My 52" Phillips Plasma TV won't turn on. It's not the power at my house, and everything is plugged in. I tried turning it on with the remote and manually. Nothing! Omg! :(

My chihuahua had to go to the hospital today, after she fell off the couch and landed the wrong way. I was in the hospital for over 9 hours today, and they informed me that her knee Capella or something like that its called was popped out of place, and they tried to pop it back in, but it keeps popping back out. SO, all that to say that they suggested an orthopedic surgery which they said would be about 3500! My baby is only 2 years old! I love her so much! Can someone tell me if they know if SPCA does surgeries like this that are affordable? or who can help me? I am really dying inside and don't want to have to put her down because of this. Please someone help me? They want me to bring her back for xrays, which they are charging me about 700.00 for, and they want to see if no bones are broken, etc... is there anywhere else I could get a bit less expensive surgery and xrays? You know in animal vets, and hospitals they don't set up payment plans, you have to pay cash or on your credit card... and I really just don't have that kind of money... but I will mark your answer as the best answer if you can help me out here! Hello, I have a neighbor next door that is a chain smoker. He smokes in the front and in the back of his home... Whatever people want to do with their bodies, is their choice, but I do not have central air, and must have my windows open in the front and back of the home. Everytime he smokes the second hand smoke comes into my home!!!!! This I have a big issue with, but what can I do? He refuses to do anything about where he chooses to smoke, and I understand his right to do it, it's his home, but what about my home....where the smoke is coming into the windows and now smelling up my sheets and furniture? What are some suggestions that any of you might have from either personally having a problem like this? I will choose best answer, and I will really appreciate advice that can help me! I have a Chi puppy and want to get a cat or kitten, but wanted to know which one is the best age to get? Should I get a kitten because my Chihuahua is a puppy? Or should I rescue a young adult cat?

I don't want to be clawed, or have my little Chi puppy clawed, but I would like to have a cat to deter any mice from coming in my home. I love how Persian cats look too! I am also apprehensive that kittens will claw up my furniture, and hang from my drapes too. I am very confused and hoping to get some real expertise on this issue from someone who is an expert in this subject. I will choose the best answer . Thank you!

I have a 5 month old Chihuahua and she doesn't want to go outside at all! She becomes so fearful, and when I pick her up and take her just to the porch, she squirms out of my hands and tries to go back inside the house. She won't go to the park, she hates hearing other dogs bark, or large trucks driving down the street, etc... I am so sad because I had all these plans for she and I to have so much fun outdoors! What is going on? It seems that all she wants to do is stay inside and play with her toys, and sleep, and eat! Is this normal? This is my first pet ever, and I fell in love with how she looked when I bought her from the breeder, but she isn't wanting to do any fun things that I see other owners doing. She always shakes when she is outside, and gets so scared! WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME! THANKS SO MUCH!!! I will pick the best answer that really can help my situation. :)

Howdy All you wonderful smart pet lovers out there! I have just purchased my first pet and she is 5 months old. I have been so happy to get a pet, and have read up and prepared before picking her up. Now that I have her home, they told me to buy the same brand of puppy chow that they used...and I did. I put down both the water and bowl of food(measured it out exactly like it reads on the package btw) and she won't eat or drink any water! Do I leave the bowls of water and food that she won't touch out for her? How can I help my baby puppy??? I love her sooooo much, but am a novice. Please give me any sincere and informational answers. I will choose your answer as best answer if you have a great solution for my issue... Also, how long will a puppy sleep that is about 5 months old? This way I can watch for signs that are normal.... or not. My appointment with the vet is Friday. I just want her to be ok. Thank you!

...Shelters, but unfortunately they don't have any of the type that I am interested in getting... like a small to medium hypo-allergenic dog. They mostly have bigger, very older dogs, or more aggressive type dogs. I have been searching for 1 year now, and thinking about giving up and buying online from this place that was advertised in the Philadelphia Inquirer. I am just nervous that the dog will arrive to me safe and healthy, or what type of condition it will be in. I have gone to several pet shops, and asked to be introduced to dogs, etc... even animal shelters, and just don't know what to do when they jump up all over me, or start barking me it makes me so scared and nervous. I am really, really trying because I would love to have a great life mate furever, and they are man's best friends. Any advice on how I can get over this fear!??!?!! Man! I envy all of you people out there that are such great pet owners, I hope to be one too one day...

I am considering adopting a pet from a shelter, and this will be my first time ever having a pet. I am a bit nervous as to what type to get and have finally decided after much research that the Papillon is not only adorable, but highly trainable, smart, and supposedly a great first time pet. I would like to hear from any one that has had experience with one before, and if this is correct or not?
