I see people use the phrase "crochet needles" all the time and it drives me crazy, but I just want to make sure they're being stupid and not talking about some variation of crochet from Kazakhstan or something.

I can't log in to check, but my parents check regularly to reimburse me for certain things. (I'm 19, but they're not going to be very okay with it.)

I've heard that the Prima Guide is rather incoherent and doesn't show you where actually to do things, not to mention its lack of Pokedex. Is there a better one out there?

I stopped buying new generations of Pokemon after ruby/sapphire, discouraged by the inability to obtain all the pokemon from all 3 generations, and stuck to my Crystal, where I'm trying to build a complete pokedex.

I'm not quite sure how all the DS games work, but will it be possible to catch all 649 pokemon in Black and white, or if not all IN the games, to trade them from previous versions? (meaning diamond and pearl or ruby/sapphire- not expecting to be able to all the way from gold/silver.) Do we even know yet?

My Desktop computer's Internet won't work. IE is just coming up with a cannot be displayed page 95% of the time, while firefox loads a blank page 95%. the rest of the time they will load a few pages before quitting, but it will be in a text only format.
