  • Different priorities in a relationship, can it last?

Me and my partner have two different priorities in our relationship. They prioritize sex as #1...and that's just not me. One of the reasons that they say they can not love me completely is because of sex. (I really can't give my all into sex unless I am truly connected to you...and we have yet connected). A connection is one of my priorities. We have thought about seeking help from someone about these differences but I'm not so sure how willing they are to changing. I kind of get turned off about them because they make sex such a priority.

    What's your thoughts....?

  • Can I test positive for marijuana (second hand)?

So I was exposed to marijuana and tobacco this weekend. What is tripping me out is that I heard that you can test positive from second hand. I received a job offer and I have to take a urine test and it just has me nervous. I was in a car with the windows down, but the wind was blowing the smoke into my face causing me to ingest some of the smoke from the weed (marijuana). I feel so stupid to put myself in that situation. I have never smoked marijuana. Should I be concerned?

  • Whining noise when accelerating?

I have 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix with about 99,000 miles on it. Recently I started hearing a noise when I'm accelerating and it's getting pretty bad and annoying. It doesn't start until my RPM are between 2 and 3 and if I'm going up a hill or have to accelerate hard it's starts to whine real loud. I would say the acceleration is not affected by it in any way. But sometimes I do have another problem when accelerating...it seems that my gear (auto transmission) would get stuck for a second and then it will finally smooth out. So any diagnoses...? I'm really hoping that its not the transmission

  • How long did you study for the PTCB (pharmacy tech) exam?

I have worked in a pharmacy for 4+ years and I'm pretty good at what I do. Now I'm finally deciding to take the pharmacy technician certification exam (PTCB)....I bought a book called the pharmacy technician by the APhA just to cover any other information that I was not aware of in the pharmacy practice. I've studied it for about a month now and I'm wondering if I should just go and take the test.

How long did you study for?...what was mostly covered on the exam?

    Thanks for the help!

  • Getting Credit Card as Young Adult?

So I'm 19 years and I'm ready to start building my credit. I'm responsible enough to pay off the balance in FULL within 25days to receive no interest and to make me look good with the creditor. I go to school full time and I work 32hrs a week in the healthcare industry(so I make about $2,000 before taxes). I have no expenses because I do still live with my parents. So my question is, what is a good company to get a credit card through? I applied for Citi Bank and was denied because of a unpaid health bill that was my placed on my transunion credit as an adverse account. I made a dispute claim because at the time of the "date of service" for the medical bill...I was a minor. That being said, legally they are supposed to go after my parents for that $107 bill that my parents just forgot about. That dispute ended up being in MY favor and it was removed from my credit. So now I'm really unsure what bank to choose from? I do have an Chase College Checking which I have never gone negative in. In fact I have personal bankers calling me all the time telling me I should upgrade to a rewards account because of the transactions I make with my debit card(irrelevant). I just don't want to apply everywhere and because that hurts your credit.

    Enough rambling....I need answers please?

  • Why would I be put on probation for withdrawing?

So I currently go to a 2 year community college where I just transferred to. I started the semester off good, but then I became really sick. I got mononucleosis(aka the kissing disease), and was extremely fatigued. Because of the illness I missed a lot of school and got tremendously behind in 2 of my classes. So I withdrew from them. I'm still currently enrolled in my chemistry course. When I went to go withdraw, some lady told me that I was going to be put on probation and that I MUST do well next semester or I won't be eligible for financial aid. My question is, why did I get put on probation? I thought withdrawing from a class didn't hurt (even though it still shows up on your transcript). This really scares me because I really can't afford to lose my financial aid and have to go through so much just to get it back. So someone please explain to me what is going on because my university sure couldn't.

  • No Credit...Car Loan Possibility?

So I'm looking into buying a brand new car. Something like a Chevy Equinox or GMC Terrain. I need a crossover truck that gets good gas mpg and those are looking pretty nice. I'm only 19 with no credit except for my student loans that I have for my first year of college. I have a job where I make about $1400 a month and I have no other expenses.

What are my chances of getting a car loan in my situation?

  • Using financial aid for apartment...possible?

So I'm going to be a sophomore next year and I'm getting a apartment as well. At my current university the Room&Board is around $9,000 per semester. Since I'm not going to be signed up for the housing will they automatically refund that $9,000 to me even though I opted not to live on campus. When I applied for the fasfa I chose the option that I will be living off campus so do they know I will be needing funding to live off campus?

    Kinda confused about this

  • My chances of getting into pharmacy school?

So I'm currently a student at a very challenging school of the sciences in Ohio. Because I had trouble there in one of my science courses a fellow pharmacist friend told me that it may be wise for me to take my science pre-requisites like Gen/Organic Chem/Lab, Bio 1&2/Lab, Anatomy and Physiology, and Physics at a local community college. He didn't go to a community campus be he attended a regional campus and got all his pre-requsites. I know they don't look at just grades but how well rounded a student is so maybe I still have a chance by a good pcat score and my interest in pharmacy.

So I just wanna know your opinion....also if you know any easy pharmacy schools to get into in the USA?

    THanks

  • Will you make good money with a Finance degree?

I'm currently majoring in Finance at the University of Toledo and I'm at the stage where I can change my major and not add anytime to accounting. My main concern is what type of jobs I can find after graduation that pays well for people with a finance degree? I do plan on going back to school within a few years after undergraduate studies to either go for grad school or law school. But I want to know what my salary could be with a undergraduate degree and what type of areas?

Your answers would be greatly appreciated

    THANKS

  • Changing major from pre-pharmacy to Finance?

I'm currently a pre-pharmacy student at a HIGHLY competitive pharmacy school and I'm finding it challenging. I was never a person who was strong in the science's and I'm struggling. I can no longer suffer so I'm changing my major to either finance or marketing. People keep telling me that finance is just as challenging but I can't believe it. And I don't really know if with a marketing degree that I would find a rewarding career that can potentially get me to six figures. So I was just wondering what's the world's view of my transition and is it sensible or wise?

  • Is Minneapolis Dangerous?

So I was planning on taking a day trip to Minneapolis for shopping at the Mall of America. I would be flying in and then using the Light Rail service to take me straight to the Mall of America from there. I would not be venturing into any other portion of the city so I was wondering if it would be safe to go alone. And also if anyone knew if I should use the train or the bus service? Your answers are greatly appreciated.

  • Increase MPG in my Pontiac?

So I have a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix with about 75,000 miles on it. I keep up with my maintenance regularly like oil changes, changing the oil filter, and keeping the tires balanced. But lately I've been noticing that its burns alot of gas. I'm not a speeder but I do live in Ohio with the winter weather I do constantly use my heat. So I'm not sure if its because I use the heat or is it something else I can treat my car with and have the gas mpg boost?

  • I'm Struggling in College...I need some advice?

I just started school in fall 2009 straight out of private high school. I attend univ. of Toledo where I'm majoring pre-pharmacy. Though I'm enjoying the college experience I haven't been enjoying the grades I'm receiving in my courses. There is some things that I know I have to change about my habits of course like not reading the book or not reviewing the material learned until it's test time. For example in chemistry and biology I may study for 2 days in a row and I feel that I'm completely ready and prepared for the test, but I tend to do just mediocre on the test like C. I have been kinda down lately, thinking maybe this is not my path I should take or I just need to change my ways. I'm approaching my 2nd semester and I need some ideas and encouragement on how to stay above water in college because my grades matter.....

  • Does this outfit work?

So I know I can dress pretty good but sometimes I'm not always confident. I'm going to this party tonite and I wonder will outfit work.

-Dark was True Religion Jeans (20' inseam though)

-Black & White checkered shirt with a Vneck sweater over it.

    -I have the shoes covered

But my only issue is that the true religions jeans have such a huge inseam that the jeans look like bell bottoms at time. Should I not even worry about that because they are true religions
