External hard drive light blinking when not in use....??
Hi. Sorry if I m seemingly a bit dim but I m just confused... I purchased a seagate 3tb external hard drive to add storage to my Xbox one. It works perfectly with no questions there at all. But i have noticed the blue light blinking quite regularly when not in use. I have set my xbox to switch off storage when not in use so I m genuinely very confused about this. Please someone with a bit of knowledge can you tell me why this happens. Many thanks for reading.
2 AnswersXbox3 years agoHome mini system help please.. Have just brought a Panasonic sc-akx400. System itself i like but the bass is so hollow. Insulate ??
Hi. I have just purchased a Panasonic sc-akx 400 mini system and to look at i love it and the connectivity and specification i am very happy with. However...... The bass from it sounds about as solid as a marshmallow. The speakers are very smart ( my opinion ) and the drivers are perfectly capable of giving a solid sound but panasonic have so penny pinched when it comes to the enclosure and they sound so woody. Having looked carefully and from different angles i can see through the bass ports with a small torch that the rear of the cabinets has a very thin layer of foam which i must add is pretty rubbish as i can practically see the chipboard through it. I am just looking for a quick and easy fix to add a little weight to the bass. The cabinets are quite cheap and nasty to be honest as theyre only made from 9mm veneer covered chipboard. However money is an issue as it is with most these days and are just trying to improve the sound a little. Thank you for reading this and for any advice you may give...
p.s. The speakers ' SHOULD ' be easy enough to get apart as there is screws hidden in the front corners.
3 AnswersHome Theatre3 years agoTechnical help needed please. Is it safe to add 2 subwoofers to my panasonic stereo system...??
Hi. I have a panasonic sc-akx400 mini system that i am quite happy with but would like to add 2 subwoofers to it just to add a little more low end. The subs are out of my old jvc speakers sp-hxz10. The rating on the amp and speakers is 3ohms and the subs are 6ohms each. I planned to add one to each of the left and right channels but would prefer to get advice from someone who knows what they're talking about before just connecting them and possibly causing some sort of damage . Thanks again for reading through my question and THANK YOU for any advice you may give

3 AnswersSoftware7 years agoDo i need to muzzle my dog when out in public?
Few weeks ago i purchased a rottweiler cross with german shepherd puppy. Was just wandering if i need to muzzle her when we go out for walks. she's lovely and as soft as a brush but vagley remember hearing something about muzzling dogs that come into the dangerous dogs bracet. again this is where some idiots have brought dogs up wrong and everyone pays the price for it. Just wandered for future reference as i wouldn't want to be approached and fined or something. many thanks for looking.
9 AnswersDogs8 years agoAM I SAD FOR HAVING SO MANY GUINEA PIGS?
I have 6 seperate cages with 10 guinea,s in. AND i,m getting 1 more next week so will be running 7 cages. It sounds a bit odd i know but do you think i,m a bit over the top. Don,t get me wrong, i love them all to bits. I would not be willing to get rid of any of them. In fact every time i see ad,s saying guinea pig not being bothered with anymore. It makes me wanna buy it cos i would give it a good home. I get them all out for exercise and cuddles very regularly. I don,t know wots the matter with me. If i was single i would get it but i,m very happily married with 2 daughters who love me.
Please advise me as, i think everything is fine but i have had numerous people saying thats over the top and can,t see why i would want so many.
8 AnswersOther - Pets9 years agoBit of legal advice please.......?
Hello. Thanks very much for reading. What happened is..... I purchased two guinea pigs from my local pet shop, was told they were both girls ( which is true ). After having these for 9 weeks i got up one morning to find that one of them had given birth. She only had one baby but was very aggressive towards the other guinea ( guarding her baby i expect ). So to sort this problem fast as the baby could have got hurt, I had to rush out and ended up having to spend 49.99 on a cage to split the girls to stop any harm happening. Having been back to the petshop to see wot they have to say due to the mother was pregnant when i brought them. ( which to this they agree ) They was just surprised and said they had no idea. I asked them what they was gonna do about it which they replied. " there,s nothing we can do " Now forgive me please if i,m talking rubbish but to me the responsibility lies with them. I,m out of pocket by 50.00. I have no intention of selling or giving the baby away, but would just like someone to let me know the law on this. I do feel sorry for the petshop in a way as they didn,t know, however surely they should legally re-imburse me something as they brought in these guinea,s and then sold them on so to me they,re responsible. I,m asking all you this due to i,d like to get my facts straight before i go there again to complain/ tell them how it is... HELP......... MANY THANX...

1 AnswerGarden & Landscape1 decade agobitumen on shed roof ???
I have a new shed being delivered over the next 10 days, the position it has to go in is hard to reach and because it's costing a fair bit would like to look after it good. I have noticed that it comes with standard roofing felt and was thinking as i have 2.5ltr's of bitumen, putting a couple of coats over the felt as extra protection. i need to know if i,m being a bit over the top. this shed will be my workshop/ tool shed. i was also planning on putting a couple of coats on the underside of the floor as this will protect for years. the shed is going on a base of slabs, but figure the more protection the better. Could you please give opinions as to weather i,m being over the top. Many thanks

2 AnswersDrama1 decade agowhat to use to soundproof a wall. ?
I live in a terraced house, on one side lives an old couple. the problem is the man is quite loud ( as in talking ). This is a problem as my wife is a light sleeper and this keeps her awake. we don't want to move because we love the house, location, and garden for the kids. the neighbours are also great aswell apart from this problem. i was wondering what we could use to line the wall to soundproof it, we was thinking of plaster boarding over it and getting a plasterer to skim it but don't know weather this would have a good enough affect.... is there some sort of sound insulating board we can attach then plastering over it. any good suggestions would be really appreciated thanx.
