I'm looking at buying a ESP LTD EC-50 with a Marshall MG15CFX amp. I have a background in piano so i know quite a bit of music theory just not a whole lot about guitars but am super keen to learn.

Apart from this setup could you recommend me a better setup and why you would recommend it, keeping in mind while I'd love a Les Paul & Vox I just can't afford it plus I consider it a waste of money to buy top of the range items when only just starting out... so my budget is sitting around $400-500

I'm looking to get DaVinci Resolve for my Video Production business and am wondering what GPUs are best to run it. Cheaper the better but i'm not afraid to spend good money to get a quality GPU.

My computers run Intel motherboards and AMD graphics cards already if that helps.

I haven't played black ops for a while... maybe a little over a month so i booted up steam for a quick game. I wasn't surprised when black ops started updating... i was expecting it to. It started taking a while so i looked to see what it was doing and it's trying to download a 4.7GB update. And that's just multiplayer... there was another 4.8GB single player update. Does anyone know why they're so big. Maybe the new maps or something but i haven't bought them or anything. My friend hasn't played for a while either over a month and he booted up steam and black ops updated normally just with a 700mb or whatever file so is someone able to tell me why i'm hit with a 10GB update?!?! So my youth group has asked me to be the 'official photographer' for the youth group, which i have no problem doing for them. I enjoy photography and enjoy taking pics of the night. But there is a problem with the lighting. The youth group is of a Friday night and usually takes place under a house with fluro lights... which is where i run into a problem. The kids do a lot of running around so i want to set a high shutter speed but can't cause of the lights in the building... i have tried using a flash but the subject is sometimes 1m away for one photo and 5m away for the next so i constantly have to fiddle with flash strength settings to avoid over and under exposure. Another problem with the flash is the subject is in focus and clear but i can see an aura around them from the longish exposure and the flash firing. I am looking at getting a proper flash gun but until then is there anything i can do. It is hard as a photographer to accommodate low level light and kids running around at the same time. Can anyone give me any tips on how to get better photos thanks :)

I use a nikon d5000 usually with a 18-55mm lens f-stop usually set to 5.6. Iso usually set to 800 and the flash set to 1/8 or 1/16.

I haven't heard this song since i was a kid, all i can remember is that it was a pop song, fairly popular at the time, and part (or all) of the music video was in a subway. The singer was female and the audio was always out of sync with the video so it looked like she couldn't lip sync, this is especially noticeable when she steps out of a train and there are dancers around her. Hope you can help i know i didn't give you much to work with.

I LOVE photography, and am looking to get some new equipment, what better place to start than with the bag. I've been browsing through a lot of brands like lowepro to find the perfect bag but still haven't found it yet. I am looking for a backpack with can hold a laptop, camera, as well as spaces for books, small first aid kit, pens, and the accessories that go with the laptop and camera, including lenses, chargers, cleaning equipment, various cables ect. I was wondering if you could recommend a quality bag. Lastly... i would like it to be capable of carrying a tripod, although i don't have one yet it is very high on my list of stuff to get.

I've been using photoshop lightroom 3 for well over a month now and i'm beginning to get the hang of it. But on thing always bugged me about it... what are catalogs and collections? i know they're there to somehow organise where i get the imported pictures from but i don't know how they work. I've spent the last month playing round with them and i'm always loosing photos somewhere cause there in another catalog or something and it gets frustrating. So any advice on what they are and how to properly use them would be much appreciated thanks :)

It might seem like a stupid question but i want to know if i uninstall a game from my computer (like rainbow six: vegas or assassins creed) would i be able to reinstall it later on on a new hdd and use the same licence. My hdd is filling up and i want to move all my game program files to a new bigger hdd. Could i do this without stuffing up the licences?

alright so heres the deal... what do you think ?? do you think he can sing or not. My friend says he can't and i say he can. But i won't go as far as saying he's the best singer i've heard but his voice suits the songs he sings. Am i right??

I just got a new custom built computer a week or so ago. the specs are:

4GB ram

windows 7 64bit

ati radon HD 5700 series graphics card 2GB

i5 processor

Anyway when ever i play a big game (eg. Sims 3) it just randomly turns the game off without any warning. this is weird cause it usually takes at least 10 seconds to turn off but it just turns off and take me to the desktop. I've tried running it on compatibility mode with windows vista (like i do on my other computer and it works fine) it seemed to last a bit longer but it still crashed after an hour or so. this problem as also occurred when i was using iTunes.

another problem that i had which may be related is while playing any game within 30 minutes of beginning play red and blue lines are displayed vertically across the screen for about 5 minutes before the system restarts. also whenever a new process is started (eg. plug a set of headphones in for the first time, looking at pictures for the first time) it either displays the red and blue lines or just powers off instantly.
