So my boyfriend and I are thinking about joining the Air Force. He wants to go in active duty and for now I want to do reserves so I can get through college. Once I am finished with college I also plan on going in active duty. If we get married after basic... how exactly will everything work? Will we be stationed together since we will be married? I don't know all the military terms so... details please. My friends parents are both active duty Air Force and they seem to fight a lot because they are away from each other a good bit of the time... Will that happen to me? Also if I end up not joining and we still get married.. What will happen then? Can I go with him? Any info anyone has will be great. Thanks!

Ok so I officially bought an AKC Doberman pup. I have had him for 3 days now and he is 10 weeks old. They had him and his family out side. He seems like a very smart puppy, he didn't cry on the way home, he didn't cry or fight with me while I was giving him a bath, he understands no, and he has only used the restroom inside 2 times ( I thought he was sitting but he was peeing ). But so far so good until... the crate! I introduced him to the crate when we got home, its small enough for him to lie down and turn around if he needed to. But I used the methods of putting a treat in there and closing it when hes inside and taking him out after a few seconds, but when I put him in there at night he goes crazy! I feed him about 2,3 hours before bed and give him water until about an hour before bed. I take him out and wait for him to poop and pee before taking him to his crate. I wake up every 2,3 hours to let him outside to find he already pooped in there. I clean it out, spray it with some stuff I bought at petsmart to make them not use the restroom there, but everytime I go get him he still pooped or peed. He also cries non stop!! I tried putting him in the room with me, I didn't sleep, I put a blanket over the crate and put in a night light, still cried! I feel like I'm going crazy and its only day 4... I keep him in the crate while I go to work and my BF comes home not too long after I leave and takes him out and lets him play until I get home, but he has used the restroom in his crate again. He isn't in the crate for more than 3 hours. Please if you have any suggestions? I have read things online and I thought I was doing eveything they said but I don't know if I can handel this every night until hes 6 months old. Will he ever learn? I took him to the vet the day I got him and he is not sick with anything. Am I doing something wrong?

I am getting a 8 week old Doberman really soon and I have a few questions about the ear cropping. He will be CKC registered so for one I'm not sure if he can be in shows or qualify for agility can he? Two, what is the most common ear crop for a Doberman? If he is able to be in shows what is the ear crop limit I guess you could say? Third, I am in AL. so if anyone can recommend a vet that would be nice. I have called around and many vets have different ages to when they will do them. Some say 12 weeks is too old and some say they wont take them under 12 weeks. What is the ideal age? Lastly, I see a lot of Dobbies with the "Long" cut, but I'm afraid to do that because they seem like they are so long they will eventually flop over. Again if you know ANYTHING about ear cropping let me know. I want to go about this in the best way possible. P.S. To the people who thinks its cruel to do this I don't really want to be bashed with all your negative replies. Sorry for all the questions. Thanks!

Hey, I was wondering if I could get some opinions on Explore Talent.com. I had signed up with them a while ago and of course I get emails day after day, but for some reason I just so happen to read one about a casting for "Teen Wolf" It said call a number for more details. So I call the number and the lady tells me there are many different acting jobs open right now and that she wants me to go to some kind of auditions in my state to get me some experience. Then of course she dropped the money bomb on me. I knew there would be some sort of fee seeing how I didn't have the "official" membership, and I only had the free one. So its almost $200 for a year, which really isn't that bad. But I have done some research on them and I've seen people who absolutely love them and have had an awesome experience using them and I have seen people say don't do it, its a scam. So I am a bit confused on what to do and I wanted to see what you guys thought. I think it seems legit, but then again it kind of seems too easy to me? Thanks for your response!

I recently received an email about America's Got Talent coming to my state for additions.I have NEVER sang in front of someone in my "singing" voice. If I do sing in front of people its just silly and I play around with it. I was told to always follow my dreams and it would be my dream to be able to sing in front of thousands of people and for them to love me! It's not about money to me. Yes who wouldn't' want to be rich and famous? But if I was a famous singer I would want to help people. Maybe with homeless people? Or help abused animals find loving homes? Or even volunteer to build homes for people who lost them in disasters. Overall my question is, should I just go for it? If I was to do something like this I don't know if I would want to tell people. I hate when someone has such high expectations for me about something and then I don't accomplish them. Should I go for it anyways? I'm afraid that I will get too nervous, like I said... I've never sang in front of anyone before. I feel like I have a good voice, but I'm sure a lot of people think the same thing and they just don't have it. I don't know if I have it.

I was wondering how someone gets started breeding dogs. I know you have to have purebred dogs with good health lines. I really don't want the "Don't do it leave it to the pros" answer because that isn't answering my question. I don't want to be a BYB. Right now I don't even have a purebred dog. This will be something for in the future. I just wanted to know what are the steps and procedures I would have to go through to be one of the top notch certified breeders. Do you go to school for some kind of vet? Would you need Vet assistance? I know I'm going to have good, clean, large kennels and a large space for them to roam and be safe, and I know I'm going to need lots and lots of money to care for them. If you have any info that can actually help me please share! Thanks!!

Hi, I have been on the look out for Akita puppies. I recently was scammed out of $300 for one. It was a hard lesson learned. I have looked on petfinder, in local shelters, on the oolde market, craigslist... everything. I do want a good dog but I don't want to pay $1000 for one. I just don't have THAT kind of money. I already have a mutt and she is great, but I want to be able to have a dog to put in shows and what not. I know if I want a good dog I will have to put some money in it but, I just wanted to see if there was anyone out there who was willing to sell me one for a little cheaper? Am I just going to have to save up for one that is really expensive? If anyone is local and has some for sale that will be great. I am willing to travel, but only to the states touching mine. I live in Alabama. I will NOT buy a dog from anyone who wants to ship it. Sorry, I will not be scammed again. But thanks for the help. I am mostly near Montgomery Alabama.

I was wondering if there were any Dobermans or Rottweilers for sale? I've looked up the breed and they are very expensive. Are they all going to be $300 and up? I just lost my 5 month old puppy due to a car accident. I'm not quite ready to move on, but I just wanted to see what kind of options I have for future references. I would like to get a baby as young as I can get them because I know if I get a strong breed they need to be familiar with me at an early age. If not a Dobbie or Rotty, what other good strong breeds are out there that won't cost me an arm and a leg? Thank you for your response! P.S. I have already had a Pitbull and had to get rid of him due to insurance company. And I just lost my Blue Bay Shepherd, so I'm not ready for any GSD.

If I join National Guard and my boyfriend joins Air Force active duty will we be moved to different parts of the US? Also if he joins the military before I do, just being a girlfriend will I be able to stay with him? I know you have to be married but we don't want to rush into getting married. We are still young but do live together now. We have plans of getting married in the future. Please give me any info about the military as you can. Thanks!!!

I have a Blue Bay Shepherd ( German Shepherd, and a 5 generations from a Wolf mix ). Her name is Meela and she just turned 5 months old, she is a very sweet dog... around me... sometimes. I bought her from a breeder. Nothing out of the ordinary, her and her brothers and sisters outside playing in a yard waiting to be taken home. She was not abused in anyway that I could tell. As she grows she has gained more and more problems. She continues to use the restroom inside, she barks literally all night and day no matter if I put her in a crate inside or in a kennel outside, and she is extremely affraid of any person or dog that comes near her. I also have a smaller dog ( Camri ) that hates her. Meela will crouch down and whine and lick Camri so much that Camri will get irritated and bite her. I cant have any peace with both of them together! I have had many other dogs around Camri and she never shows aggresion, it is only towards Meela. I need help, advice, a dog trainer... someone!!!! Please help me figure out how to have a happy home with both dogs.
