I'm 27 and I've had irregular periods since I was 18. I get about five periods a year. My doctor always shrugs and says it's no big deal and tries to pimp birth control to me (I don't want to take it--know someone who had a stroke on it). If I'm only ovulating 5 times a year, that's a problem for getting pregnant, right? My husband and I plan to TTC soon...

Also, I did have an ultrasound done on my ovaries/uterus and it didn't show anything alarming

I'm trying to stop taking an SSRI antidepressant after three years of being on a smallish dose. It's crazy getting off this thing. I'm following what the doctor said and tapering down slowly, but it still feels terrible. I have crazy anxiety and I'm lethargic and I'm having weird dreams. I never had any of this stuff before taking the medication in the first place.

Will this go away when I finally get the drug out of my system? I know if I go back on the medicine this weird stuff will go away, but I want to be off the drug! ARGH.

I'm in my late 20's and my boyfriend is 30. We met 3 months ago, and are starting to talk about getting engaged. To me, the timing feels fine. We're both pretty mature and established in our careers...etc. It probably wouldn't happen for another few months, but still.

I'm just curious about how my friends and family are going to feel when we tell them about this. Is it totally abnormal for people to get engaged after 5 months of meeting each other?

I've had a weird hybrid relationship with a guy friend of mine. We've been friends for two years, and for 1.5 of those, I was dating someone else. Ever since my bf and I broke up (about 5 months ago), things have been weird with my friend. We hang out...we went to a concert...we flirt sometimes...we've hooked up a couple times. But we're both seeing other people and he's never made a move towards establishing a relationship. I would like to date him. I like him, but he's told me that he only wants friendship.

Since I want more, I wonder if it's just a bad idea for me to keep being friends with him. I have a bad feeling that I'll just feel like a string along. Is the self-respecting thing for me to back away from him and drift away from "confiding buddies" towards "casual acquaintances"?

I am going to the U2 concert at Soldier Field (Chicago) this weekend. It's my third date with a guy who I like. What should I wear? The venue is outdoors and the weather will probably be mild (60s-70's).

I've been highlighting/bleaching my hair for about years now and it's pretty blonde. My natural hair color is some shade of medium brown. I'm getting sick of dyeing my hair and I hate the way my hair is starting to feel like straw. Is it totally gross to just grow it out? I've tried dyeing it back to my natural color in the past, but because of the bleached part underneath, the color always fades and then I'm back to square one. I really just want my natural, undyed hair back. (My hair is shoulder length, btw).

They looked awful in preseason, but great tonight against the Colts. And they won by a decent margin...

Would you admire someone who has a bad family situation and made the most of it, or would you prefer that a politician have all his/her ducks in a row? (even though you couldn't relate to the latter as much)

I have a Coach purse with a tan suede bottom that is dirty. How do I clean it?

I am completely cleaning-clueless, btw. I can do basic laundry and that's about it. Any suggestions will probably help!

My nose is running like crazy...I mean literally dripping, but it's clear and thin, like water...not mucus.

Also, my throat is terribly sore. I don't have a cough though. I would have suspected allergies, but the sore throat isn't "itchy" like I usually get with allergies.

Seriously, there are almost no redheaded men in hollywood, or anywhere in the limelight. If there is, it's someone like carrot top, who is goofy. Redheaded men always seem to be stuck in the "cute" box.

Do cats only meow when they are in pain or they want something?

How many naps should he be taking every day, and how long should they be? I'm trying to get him on a schedule.

My niece is 13 months old. She is ALWAYS fussing or whining. She is either awake and crying/screaming for attention, or sound asleep. There is no in between. I know a lot of kids are "fussy" but she is beyond that. Friends always comment about it and ask if something is wrong with her. Even when she is "happy" she is screeching and banging on things. She doesn't know how to sit still and be quiet. What could be wrong with her?

My cat always hides or leaves the room when friends come over. I want her to be social. I don't understand why she is so timid. I adopted her when she was 15 weeks old and I've always treated her with care and affection. She has no history of abuse or anything that would make her not trust people.

A friend of mine just adopted a cat and he is super friendly. Is there any way to coax mine into being more a people-cat?
