I know that they are 184 pin. Is that DDR? Does It matter that it is called DDR. Or just 184 pin? My computer has two slots. Currently installed is 2x512. I would like to upgrade to at least 2g per slot. But in the interest of cost,I may go with 2x1g.

I use the computer for a graphics program,(Omega)internet,and Adobe photo shop pro. It has a Foxtrot mother board, graphics card for hi def,wide screen monitor. Sound Blaster sound card and added USB slots. I have the famous memory hogs Dragon speak voice recognition and Norton internet security.Any help would be Great! Brad

I have a 1908 Elgin pocket watch that I have been told is solid gold. Also, I have a Howard and Waltham I believe are as well. I can find no wording on them to indicate that. Is there a mark or lack of marks that will indicate this? Any ideas? I have no acsess to chemical tests.

We have long since lost the factory remote and have just been using a universal remote.No owners manual either. The TV will turn on and off with the buttons on the TV but that is it. We can't change any of the settings like AV inputs,Color adjustments,channel. Nothing. The remote won't work at all. If you try pushing the menu or any of the front buttons. It says on the screen"Child Locks are On"

How do I unlock that panel. Is there any way to remove or reset the TV without the factory remote? Help?

The following lights come on and stay on in the message center on the dash: Service Air Bag and

Service 4 Wheel Drive.I have heard that the air bag part of the message is a common problem related to the seat sensor. Any ideas on repairing these probs?

I just wnat to be sure Vista isn't different from XP in this way. I just don't want it to hurt my system. I know, that in XP, the deletion of these files in the prefetch folder helps clear up the junk in your system,thereby helping to speed up your system. Any other ways to speed up my system on Vista would be helpful.

Also,If the tranny is dry. How many quarts before the transmission will engage? And how fast should it be put in?

I have a 2005 Chev Silverado "Service Air Bag" warning in message center. It also alternates with the message "service four wheel drive". I own a body shop and have an OTC computer. It does not,however, have the latest updates to 2005. So any techs that can help. It is an easy 10 points. I have had a couple of collisions of other peoples that were 2005 or newer with the same problem. I sent them of to the dealer and only heard the results of 1. The dealer said it was the seat switch on the drivers side.The switch that indicates someone is in the seat. Ideas?

Also,my 2,4h,and 4low buttons do not light up. As though none are selected. As well,the 4wd will not engage. Possibly two separate problems,but I think it is something common to the warning lights.But what?

I have an HP Pavilion dv9000 laptop. Suddenly, I am having speed issues all of sudden. Mostly while surfing the net. When I click on an item such as a link, it is like there is a delay.Sometimes several seconds. Going from page to page on the Internet has become extremely frustrating. Taking up to ten seconds just to change pages. I have tried using IE7 with no add-ons just to see if that was the problem. No luck. Also, in some programs, I have a delay in letters as I am typing. My mouse pointer moves with a delay.I have plenty of ram. I have a T1 Internet connection.The problem has only recently started and I don't think I have changed anything. Like adding any programs. I use Norton Internet security and while I know it is not fool proof,I don't suspect I have contracted anything. I think I have done all of the obvious things. Like flushing cookies,prefetch files,temp files,etc. Ideas?

I have a trailer mounted carpet cleaner that has a 35 hp Wisconsin engine. The problem is it is obnoxiously loud. It has a muffler that is new from the factory. But I need to quiet it down. I would prefer not to lose too much power or gas consumption. But I will do whatever I have to. Ideas?

We have been married for over 25 years. She is 43 I am 48. We are both young at heart and young looking. She is beautiful. But the last 4 or five years she has been slowly declining the way she takes care of herself. She doesn't keep her hair combed and has started to dress slovenly more and more everyday. It isn't just that as a husband I like to see her polished up a bit. I just think it is an indicator of the condition of her self esteem. And that makes me sad for her. And us. Any ideas? I tell her as often as I can she is beautiful and that helps her for about 10 mins. Is it me? What can I do to get her to care about her? She tries to watch her weight. Although she's not overweight. But really nothing else. I love her and want to see her happier but nothing seems to help. Anybody?

My 21 year old daughter is home again after losing her scholarship because of a boy.She is lost in the world and doesn't have and can't seem to find a place. She could live with me and her mom as long as she wants. But she is young and pretty and wants to start her life. She just doesn't know what to do. She doesn't want to be too far away from family. But we live in a very remote part of Nevada and any where she goes is too far away from family. She is somewhat shy and afraid to live by herself. But to scared to live with strangers/roommates. The biggest problem is I fear suicide. Help? Ideas?

2 weeks after surgery on my shoulder cuff.I am still having an unbelievable amount of pain and discomfort. I can't sleep more than a couple of hours. I have recovered about 30% of range in movement. I have alot of soreness in the tricep region.(like after a hard workout) And specific pain deep under the incision probably in the joint. I have heard that the surgery is one of the most painful. I believe it. Depression taking hold.Any ideas?

Specifically states in the Great Basin. And can you legally sell them?
