  • Any tips for greyhound bus ride?

So I m in San Jose, and need to get to LA and back in a few weeks. I can t afford to buy plane tickets, amtrak doesn t run at my preferred times, and greyhound is the cheapest bus service. I ve used megabus a few times for this route and never had any real problems, but I ve read A LOT of bad things about greyhound, and as a female riding by herself, I m a bit nervous. I ll only have my backpack with me so I ll be sure to keep an eye on it, but any other tips? And how reliable are they? I ll be taking the 11:30 PM bus back to San Jose, and I have class at 9:50 AM, giving me about 3 hours after I arrive, but I ve heard that greyhound is often late, and they ve even had to leave people behind if the bus is too full? Thanks!

  • When should I ask for the day off?

I'm currently working at this grocery store (so I don't have a set schedule), but I'll be out of town for a few days in September and maybe August. I don't wanna ask too far in advance and have my manager forget, but I don't wanna wait and find out it's too late to ask. When would you recommend I ask to take the days off? Thanks in advance!

  • Where does the extra financial aid money go to?

Hey guys. Because of personal reasons, I ended up with a lot of financial aid money to help with college. For my summer semester, only 300 would be left to be paid off. After that 300 would be taken out of the aid money, I'd still have a few thousand dollars left that were for summer semester. Does anyone know where that extra money would go to? Would I get to keep it, or would it go towards future semesters? Thanks in advance!

  • How to act more like an adult?

Both my parents died before I was 18, and around them, I lived a pretty laid back life. Now that I just turned 18, I moved to live with my cousin who's in the military. He just started yelling at me for not being more mature, and since my parents didn't really try to give me tips of how to live like an adult... Any tips from you guys? Thanks!

  • Feeling super out of it on period?

Hi guys. For the past few years, I had been put on birth control to regulate my period. I had to get different insurance in October tho, and it wouldn't cover the birth control, so I stopped using it. Today, I went on my period again, and usually I just feel a lot of painful cramps. I didn't eat breakfast cuz I felt sick, and I nearly passed out a few hours after I woke up. Usually food helps me feel better, but trying to eat makes me feel like I need to throw up. Is it my period just acting up, or is it something else? Thank you!

  • Trying to remember name of PSP game?

Basically all I remember is that it was on a UMB disc. It was kinda a role playing game, and you traveled around school/fought small enemies for a week, and at end of said week, you'd fight a boss battle. I also think it had something to do with ghosts? Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks!

  • What iPad should I get?

I'm heading off to college in a few months, and I'm planning to get a tablet. My mind's already set on getting an iPad, but which one should I get? Don't really care about the camera, and I'm not an avid gamer, and I'm majoring in music production. What iPad would be best for me?

  • Could there be anything wrong with my cat?

Since about a day ago, he's been really quiet, and he hasn't even doing anything but laying under the bed. I know I'm probably just being paranoid, but I hate having people and my animals leave me, so I'm kinda concerned. My cat's at least 5 or 6 years old, so I'm thinking it's just cuz he's getting older... Any other ideas tho?

  • What tablet should I get?

I'm going to college in September, and I already have a MacBook Pro. However, what tablet should I get? Right now, I'm deciding between the Apple iPad, and the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime. I've seen better reviews for the Asus tablet, and right now, it seems like it's a better deal for the money. Anybody have either one/ have opinions on them? Thanks!

  • Are these three things worth it?

I just wanted to get people's opinions on these three things:

    1. PSVita. I already have a PSP Go that I barely use, and I've only bought a few games in like the past year. Are the Vita's features worth buying it, or should I just stick with the Go?

    2. Any of the Beats headphones. I'm starting college soon, and I'm majoring in music production. I've sampled some of the headphones, and they all sound amazing *.* Are the worth buying, and which one would be the best for producing?

    3. iPad. I've been on like a trillion sites about the iPad, and 99% of them recommend bringing it to college with you. I already have a MacBook Pro, so would the iPad be worth it (I'm planning to bring the Pro with me to college), or not?

    Thanks guys :D

  • Why won't my phone turn on?

I was just seating on my couch like 30 minutes ago, and my phone dropped out of my pocket and onto the carpet and turned off, but now it won't turn back on. I've tried charging it, and taking out and putting back in the battery, but nothing is working. The phone numbers on the Verizon website aren't working, but my dad's taking me to the Verizon store to try and see what's happening. Anyone know what's wrong with my phone? Thanks.

  • Is there really only 1 GB for apps on Fire?

I got the new Kindle Fire for x-mas, and I was playing around with it. I noticed in the "device" settings, there's only around 1 GB space for apps. Is there anyway to delete the apps that come with the Kindle, and is there any other way to get more space for apps? What about storing apps in the cloud? Thanks!
