it's more in the southern states, but what's the term for when people go by two first names like Billy-Jo or Jenna-Lee? i know there's a word for it but i can't remember it and it's been bothering me!

so i'm 25 and about 8 weeks pregnant totally unplanned but a happy surprise to me and my immediate family. My parents are incredibly supportive and both my brother and sister are pumped about their soon-to-be neice or nephew. The problem is my boyfriend, we've been together for 2 1/2 years and i thought that he would be different in this situation then he's acting. He's constantly snapping at my for asking him questions, for example, this morning on our way to out dr. appt, as i am fighting the urge to vomit (i have really bad morning sickness) i asked him if he knew where my chuck taylors were, and he flew off the handle screaming at me "i don't know what the HELL you're talking about!" he's also constantly calling me a brat and he tells me i'm being unreasonable for crying at sappy commercials or the fact that he got the wrong kind of peanut butter (i believe there's a difference between chunky and creamy). granted he is still trying to quit smoking, he doesn't smoke around me. and i quit as soon as the test results said positive. he's just constantly moody.

the thing is he was very caring and always very loving before i got pregnant. i mean i understand that he's got a lot going on (he has medical bills of his own to pay after hurting himself last year in addition to his school loans) and he's trying to quit and it was easier for me since the smell of smoke made me sick but i don't understand why he's taking out on me when he know how sensitive i am at this point in my life. I feel like he resents me because he's missing out on his 'youth'.

Am i being unreasonable?

so my boyfriend had a little car accident and filled out an insurance claim because he slightly damaged a coworkers car. now he thinks he put down the claim date as the accident date on accident. now, he's freaking out about it. i don't think he should worry about it. he thinks he's in major trouble for it. any opinions?

My cat lost his bro last week and his behavior is worrying me. He'll wonder around the house (not crying because he's never really been a vocal cat). his activity has decreased, he used to run back and forth between the front and the back of the house for hours and now he'll play for ten min or so a day. he's also been sleeping more.

do you think i should get him a new playmate? or is it too soon to tell?
