If a player scores 100 in a game, does that go down as a 50 and a 100 under his stats? Or is the 50 crossed out?

How do you say broody in japanese, like when a woman really wants to have a baby?

When you have to perform dares or do silly things. Any idea if the Japanese have a word for this? I really want to say, "Because I lost the game, I had to do a forfeit". This is what I have so far:

「負けたから・・・しなきゃ。」

Hiya, was just talking with my penpal about how I want ash from pokemon to be the next emperor of Japan, and she goes: "ポケモンのサトシって！「ポケモンゲットだぜ」とか言ってる場合じゃないよね！"

So the first sentence is just like "You said satoshi from pokemon! omg roflcopter" right?

But the next sentence I don't really get,

I looked up ポケモンゲットだぜ turns out it's some weird comic rip-off version of pokemon.

So 「it is not the situation that you're saying "pokemon getto da ze" etc 」 is my best effort at translating...what on earth does that mean though?

(having not mentioned anything about pokemon getto da ze before...)

Does 場合じゃない have some non-literal meaning? Or have I just translated it wrongly?

I am trying to say, "please make him realise he is not stupid" in Japanese:

So far I have:

彼に頭いいを気付かせてください。(Using clever instead of not stupid)

I find the passive form very confusing even though I use it all the time...Do I have the に in the right place?

Also is を correct after an adjective? In my head it says "please make him realise clever"...which isn't quite it...

I'm assuming the なっちゃ = なっては but what on earth does the おっか mean?

According to somewhere is means scary but I can't see that fitting here...

Too many words in one sentence!! the bits confusing me most are とか (Is it "something like"?), してしまうもの, and the もん at the end....

Hi I'm looking for a japanese website which allows you to search with a japanese verb and to bring up a list of all the different english conjugations. i.e.

result: I eat, I ate, I am eating etc. etc.

I've tried googling but my google skill is poor in english let alone japanese!

エドは、日本に来たらしてみたい事や行ってみたい所とかある(*゜Д゜*)？

Does it mean "If you come to Japan, what things would you like to do, where would you like to go etc.."? I think that's right but the smiley at the end is throwing me off a little...wouldn't want to answer the wrong question!

Google translates it as "you doing much?"

But I've learnt not to trust it ever...

If it helps we were talking about playing cricket and whether she'd heard of it or not. Maybe she means do you play it alot?

Is this correct? And if so, is it the best way to say it? I feel I'm overusing こと recently!

Surely it is a good idea to teach intelligent design at school in religious studies. A campaign to remove any sort of education from a school is nothing short of closed mindedness.

I'm almost certain that everyone who campaigns for the removal of religious ideas from schools has had some sort of religious education in the past and you turned out "fine", so why now deny our children the opportunity to learn about a different point of view. Are we to bring up a generation of kids unable to make up their own mind? Knowledge is power people!

As for the argument itself it seems to have decided that the christian view of God is an old man with a beard. Wake up!!

Hi, I am sending stuff to my pen pal and want to say "Maybe this book will help you learn some new English words", without it sounding rude or patronising!

My Japanese dictionary says "The idea of helping someone is often expressed using the auxiliary verbs あげる、くれる and もらう after the ～て form of the verb". Does this mean "to help learn" is 習ってもらう (or one of the other auxiliary verbs?).

Does this make sense?: この本は英語を多分習ってもらう。
