No Life Absent Christ
I am a born-again believer, in Jesus. I aim to behave as Christ-like as possible, that I may honor Him... and not defame the definition of what is to be Christian. To know nothing but Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Tim 2:15, KJV)

5 AnswersOther - Sports7 years agoIs telling someone they are wrong and stoning someone to death the same thing?
I'm asking because I often hear people say, "you who is without sin cast the first stone" in a context where nobody is being stoned to death, but rather, righteousness is being discussed as it pertains to our behaviors in accordance to God's Word. So, to save us all some confusion--can we agree that calling something criminal, immoral, wrong, or sinful... is not the same thing as stoning someone to death?
1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality7 years agoAtheists: Does it feel better to think about "what" created us, rather than "who"?
Of course you may also have personal issues with the word "created", but we are all here... aren't we? So... when I say "who" created us, would you rather answer, "what" created us? And, how do you know it's a what, rather than a who?
30 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhy aren't cans of spray paint illegal?
Sure they have some good practical uses, but they are also natorious for valdalism and are even used for huffing to get high. So why haven't these been criminalized?
8 AnswersLaw & Ethics7 years agoWhen people talk about something as "The Holy Grail of...", what do they mean? Are they talking about something that doesn't exist?
Seeing as Jesus never spoke of any such grail being made particularly holy, the Bible gives no record of any such grail ever existing.

For example... "evidence" of the Big Bang. I have seen many pretty pictures.
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoAtheists: When you say there is no proof of God. What do you consider evidence?
I too view the world with the senses given me as you do. It seems rather illogical to not believe that we were placed here by the power of a supremely intelligent being. Are you waiting for a visible manifestation, and if so, what kind that you could/would not cast off as a mere hallucination?
19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoDo you celebrate Valentines Day?
I don't see the point. I'm married, and I just don't think the obligation to obey a calendar I didn't create, and give in to more commercialism, is a good idea. Even in the name of "love". However, my wife and I do love eachother on that day anyways, and all the other days of the year. Just without doing extra based on the obligitory actions dictated by a calendar.

1 AnswerValentine's Day7 years agoIs it good, when someone has died, to say "God bless you" to them/towards them?
In advance, yes... I know you don't believe God exists atheists so it doesn't matter either way. Thank you for your witt.
To my question: When someone has died, isn't it finished? Whatever blessing may or may not be upon them? Isn't saying "God bless you" to them... or in their name about them, an empty statement?
"For it is appointed to man to die once, and then to be judged." (Hebrews 9:27)
