Okay I am realizing that I must have worded my question about resources wrong.

I like to read and I would like to learn more detailed information about the breed. I have the contact for the breed club and my puppy has her vet appointment scheduled.

She is enrolled in puppy school and will go to a minimum of 4 months of obedience training like our Shepherd did. We were specifically looking for an active dog but one a little smaller than the shepherd without the guard dog tendencies. My hubby likes daily long walks with some running mixed in and I like to walk park trails. I have a trainer and a vet who answer important questions for me when needed.

We just got a Siberian Husky Puppy and I didn't do a lot of breed research. We already are experienced owners of German Shepherds but I can tell Huskies have different personalities. I want to be educated on the unique challenges of this breed.

She is already scheduled to attend puppy kindergarten and will likely do that for 8 weeks before she starts obedience training for a minimum of 8 weeks of classes but I think I will keep taking her as long as I can to keep her well socialized. I have been working on taking her in the car and socializing her people and well behaved children and she has a vet visit scheduled.

I know they are high energy so I have been taking her out to run the yard frequently and will walk her frequently as soon as she has more shots. Is there anything else I need to know right away?

We have had the puppy for a week and I started by trying to feed her dry food and she didn't eat much the first 2 days but I put a little warm water in it the 3rd day and she eats approximately 1/4 to 1/3 of a cup at each feeding. I put down 3/4 of a cup 3-4 times a day and waste a lot. According to the package I am supposed to feed her 3-4 cups a day.

I am home all day most days or gone for no more than 3 hours at a time right now. When I am home she is taken out to play and relieve herself once an hour unless she is sleeping. We even take mock walks in the back yard (she has only had one set of shots so far).

So she is active and drinks plenty of water and she will gobble up what she wants but she just quits eating after a quarter to a third of a cup of food. I am just concerned she isn't eating enough. Should I keep feeding her the same amount of back off a bit untill she gets a litte bigger.

I had a sore wrist from exercise and wore a brace to bed just in case just to make sure I didn't make it worse by sleeping on it funny. Now my wrist does not feel sore but my thumb has been numb since I got up. It does not hurt like when I sleep on it funny just has a funny sensation. It has been this way at least 5 hours. Only the top portion of my thumb too it is just weird.

Just in case you are wondering I am a very healthy individual at a very healthy weight. I over did and advanced split grip move in pole dance fitness class and the is how I got a sore wrist. I did eat like a lot of salty things if that makes a difference the last two days as well. I probably have not had enough water either since I have been on the go quite a bit but I have had at least 4-6 cups a day but not my usual 8-12.

I have no other symptoms.

I love rollerskating but I am terrified of falling since I broke my hip a few years ago. I am only 35 it was kind of a freak accident. The thing is my rollers skates don't do any type of bumps well. So a path with twigs and acorns on it can just about kill you.

I use traditional indoor/outdoor skates and they are great on smooth surfaces but they stink on outdoor trails. I like the old style skates but I am wondering if I should try inline skates instead for the outdoor activities and use the others for skating rinks. Is there a type of traditional skate that can handle rolling over pebbles and twigs?

My German Shepherd dog is a great dog but I recently took in a kitten and while she doesn't want to eat the cat she thinks the kitten should be able to play with her like another dog her size should. The kitten is a stray about 4 months old not tiny but not big enough to withstand big dog play. We already taught the dog to ignore our 6 chickens but the cat seems to be a bit more work. Lots of treats for ignoring the cat and it has been working except when the cat runs or plays with cat toys. Just wondering if anyone had any hints or tips to help move the process along a bit.

I have 6 chickens and one has all of a sudden started acting strange. She is a bit slow and lays down a lot. She isn't eating much and is not laying eggs even though she was laying one a day before, but she does get up and walk around a bit and go in her coop by herself at night. We have been missing one white egg the last two days.

I sell Herbalife now but I was looking into Avon as well and maybe something else. I just want to be able to be that family member that sells a little bit of everything. It would be great if there was no minimum monthly purchase or if it was low cost. I do not want to do home parties I just want a low cost product to sell.

I have been checking hospital websites for postings and Monster, Career-builder, and my local Craigslist. I am in Toledo Ohio. I have a lot of resumes out there already but I need a job ASAP.

I am not ready to start breeding any animals right now but I am looking into rabbits and some egg producing birds. I am hoping to move to a small farm in the next few years. I want to learn everything that I can before I move.

I am not looking to make a fortune with breeding animals I am looking at being able to feed myself and my hubby. I need to know what rabbits are good for meat and fur and what rabbits are good only for pets. I want a comprehensive book not just a book about raising pet rabbits. There are a lot of books at my library on chickens and other poultry but not on rabbits.

I don't want to work in a job where I am around food all day or where I have to drive all day. Other than that I am not super picky. I have my Bachelors degree in Social Work but I don't really want to do that so I let my license expire. I have a lot of customer service experience but office jobs are making me fat. If I get an office job right away then I will take it especially if they work around my part time decent paying job.

I am just having trouble coming up with ideas for jobs that would at least keep me on my feet most of the day. I was never this fat when I worked in a factory.

I get migraines and the only thing that I absolutely brings them on is just about any form of artificial sweetener including Splenda (suclarose). I was looking for something to replace a meal when I don't have a lot of time or just don't feel like making something. I am not looking to drink all my meals or anything like that. I just can't seem to find much without at least suclarose in it. Thanks

I am having trouble remembering everything that needs to be done. I do great with lists and I am looking for help creating a detailed cleaning list. I want to have it broken down so I know what needs to be done daily and what needs to be done weekly or twice weekly to start an maybe a monthly list later on.

I was taking inventory of the items I need to use up and I discovered I have tons of boxed Mac and Cheese and tons of rice. I know I can make more stir-fry's but what else can I make with these things. I am trying to stick with cheap meals. I need to cut my $600 dollar a month bill down it is just me and my hubby and one dog. Granted that bill includes everything we would buy at the grocery store including cleaning supplies and hygiene items but I still think it is high. I thought using things we have would at least help for a few months.

Well we are thinking of eventually after much planning and saving moving to a small farm or property where we can raise enough animals and grow enough food that we don't have to make weekly trips to the grocery store. Plus we will know more about what we are eating.

My question is for any one who feeds their dog raw, if we raise the chickens that we feed the dog will they want to take a bite out of all the chickens? I am being partially sarcastic but I do wonder if it can be done. Does anyone raise the food their dogs eat and if so how?

I am going to do a lot of research and look for someone to mentor me about farm animals before we take the plunge into this.

I split Auska's (my German Shepherd dog) meals and feed her once in the morning and once after we eat dinner. It seems on days over 80 degrees she often only wants one meal. I hear this is normal and there is no other change in her behavior other than she would prefer a few shorter walks to one long one.

I only ask because she is usually pretty exuberant about food and she still is most of the time she. Some mornings she doesn't want her food but by evening she is excited as usual. I don't leave food down it needs refrigeration.

I feed raw and up until now I have never had to board her we will be going on a week long vacation in May sometime and I don't think they will feed raw anywhere around here. What do other raw feeders give there dogs in these situations?

I am looking for anything that will help increase activity on my blog.
