My birthday is New Years, and I am turning 21 this year (or technically next year). I am 5'8 athletic build, so strapless doesn't agree with me, if you catch my drift. I have really long legs, so super short doesn't really work either. I just need some ideas, cause I don't even know where to start! I'll attach a picture to give you an idea. I'm the one on the far right.

I sleep folded in half, much like you see an infant do, but I am 20. So I was wondering if anybody else does this! I'll attach a picture so you get what I mean...I do this almost every night. Also I'm bored, so what kind of weird positions do you wake up in?

The other day, my horse cast himself in his stall. While trying to get up, he grabbed his foreleg with his hind-leg and stood up, tearing all the soft tissue in his shoulder. It looks like a big dimple, and you can feel where it tore. I called the vet, and she gave me steroids, banamine, and bute for when the banamine runs out. He isn't limping on it now, but has been loosing weight (he was already a little skinny). He is eating 6-8 flakes a day, and I am putting beat pulp in his feed. Then I noticed that he was trying to eat his poop the other day. Should I put him on probiotics as well? Can that fix the weight problem too, or could it be a calcium and vitamin a problem? And is there anything else I can do for his shoulder besides the pain meds and hand walking twice daily?

I am pro horse slaughter for reasons I will keep to myself so I don't start anything. Anyways, I have to address the opposing side, and I thought it would be better if I got it straight from the horses' mouth (hahaha) Oh and I already have the inhumane part down...I would like other people's opinions from both sides so I can find more points about each! Thanks!!!

My friend Lauren just bought a horse from someone she knew for a dollar. They didn't give her much information about the horse, except that she's bred before. We are both in college studying equine science, so we have both been around horses before, just not any breeding. Anyway to get to the point, the horse drinks, and pees A LOT, she completley cleans the stall in the morning, and it is soaked by night. Today, she noticed that her hind legs were swollen so much, you can't even feel the bone. She is calling the vet to check it out tonight, but I am just super curious on if she could be pregnant? She got her about 2 weeks ago, and since the previous owners didn't tell her much, I was thinking it could be a possibility. Any thoughts?

A while ago, I asked for a good greek name for the new horse I am buying. I chose Nike, but now I need a show name! The same person mentioned "Oh My Gods" because Nike was the greek goddess of victory. I like this name, but I'm thinking that it could cause problems? I was also thinking about "Just Do It", but i'm not sure i like it. So I need some opinions on those names, or some new ideas!

I am buying a horse, and I have always been interested in Greek mythology and things. I was wondering if anyone had any good Greek names with meaning he is a 16.2 hand 6 year old paint gelding. I will tag a picture rather than explain what he looks like, cause he doesn't look like a paint.

Every time I take a breath, it feels like I don't get any air in, so i take deeper breaths, but it's like they don't go in all the way. It feels like I have a lot of pressure on my chest like someone is sitting on top of me. I'm not worried about anything, and it'll hit me at the most random times, like when I'm at a movie, at home, or even going to sleep. I notice that I yawn a lot while it's happening, it's not exactly pain, but I have an uncomfortable felling around my heart, or lungs, I can't tell, just in that area. It hits randomly but stays for a while. This happened once to me 4 years ago for a week, then went away, but it started up again recently and has been going on for a while. I can't go to sleep cause of how annoying it is, and I keep getting dizzy from it, so I don't want to drive when it happens. My mom thinks it's just an anxiety attack, and that we don't need to worry, I just need to know, if it is worth going to the doctors for, or if it'll blow over soon.

The new vampire diaries episode was on tonight and it had a song i really liked at the end, does anyone know that song by any chance? If I find any of the lyrics I'll add them, but i don't remember anything about it except it was a good song.

I have been taking riding lessons for 8 years and am going to college to be a trainer. I have been trying to convince my mom to let me get a horse ever since I was little, but she always thought I would outgrow my obsessions...wrong, I am still going strong. Now her excuse is we dont have enough money, but when I was 9 I had an accident and got my foot cut open, anyway we are getting 45,000 dollars for it and she says its going for college money. Although I am really good at track and am hoping for a full ride to school, she is set on me not buying a horse with my money, my friend offered me her horse for free, and that i could keep it at her barn for 100 a month (including vet) and she said no...any ideas on how to convince her?
