With the massive surplus of lawyers these days everyone is telling me not to go to law school, but I don't know about what other career options I have. I'm a senior 4.0 criminal justice major with solid leadership positions/student involvement, and some work experience. I'm wondering (especially from law students/lawyers) what you would do career/education wise if you were in my position. I figure I'd get some opinions before I commit myself to law school!

I grew up in Minnesota and went to the University of North Dakota for college. I am a 4.0 student preparing to take the LSAT. I'm now looking in to where I want to go for law school.Assuming I get into both (which I know by no means will be easy) the University of MN law school and the University of ND law school, which one should I go to. UMN is a t1 law school but would cost me 37k per year in tuition. UND on the other hand is t3, but it only costs just over 8k per year in tuition to attend. Assuming I perform equally at each school, would having a more prestigious degree make up for that large of a gap in yearly tuition? I appreciate any opinions you are willing to share.

So I'm currently a college student and already have a MacBook Pro for schoolwork. But because I'm so dependent on this computer for internet and my documents I'd like to get a backup computer in case this one ever fails/crashes/whatever. BUT an extra perk is that I'll use this computer to game as well. I'm a former wow player and would like to get guild wars 2 once I get my backup computer with windows, but I'm wondering what type of computer I'd get. Because this is only a backup I don't want to spend alot of money, but I'd still like it to be good enough to allow me to play gw2 smoothly. What recommendations do you have? I'm really not a big tech/computer guy so any info will help. Thanks!

Why do you make fun of atheists because we believe that the universe came from the big bang. you claim that the energy needed to cause the big bang needed to come from somewhere, something needs to create the matter. But then you say that it makes more sense that god made the universe from nothing. Then by your own logic god also had to come from somthing too. Why can god just appear, but matter needs to be created?

that seems childish to me. if i were a god, i would let in the people who do good deeds and live a charitable life. instead the christian god lets you get in as long as you believe in him (aka a man who raped and killed a little girl can get in if he confesses his sins and asks for forgiveness). doesn't that seem illogical and selfish to you?

so i am atheist. lets say that i am wrong and when i die i rise to heaven to be judged by god to decide whether i go to heaven or hell. since i then see god and heaven, cant i just confess my sins and ask for forgiveness? if you're god is forgiving and loving, he'll forgive me and let me into heaven right?

i know a little bit about all the parties, but for the most part when it comes to government im retarded, so if you could give me a quick pitch for your party it would be much appreciated (no sassy coments please)

now im not talking extreme socialism, but if we just took the richest 1% (aka billionaires, so if you are reading this it most likely wouldnt effect you negatively) and taxed them extra, i feel like we could greatly improve our poverty rates. the rich people could still have there mansions and nice cars, they'd just have a few less extra lambo's and private jets. this way rather than having extreme poor and extreme rich, we could just have poor to rich (ps dont get too harsh im new to government and i'm admitedly no where near an expert so dont be a douche)

There are thousands of recognized religions in the world today, Christians for example, believe in one of these thousands of gods. This makes them atheist to 99% of all other world religions. I merely believe in one less god than they do. Thus christians are ALMOST as atheist as I am! (so stop being hypocrites)

before someone claims their religious beliefs they should research both sides. no argument is fair if you only study one side. if you are theist, challenge yourself to research atheism and if you are atheist vice versa. this will help you realize what you truly believe and will make for much better discussion. so why do people continue denying looking at the argument from a different perspective!

why would god do this. it seems stupid to me. he creates people imperfect and then punishes them for it. seems like its gods own fault to me.

I myself believe that gay marriage okay, i'm a supporter, but I'm wondering how Christian's can possibly agree with me. Leviticus 20.13 states that "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." So if you are a Christian, how do you possibly tolerate gay marriage? Not only does your god tell you that homosexuality is an abomination, but he says that you should put them to death. Please respond intelligently and respectfully, i'm curious for an answer to this question, as thus far I have yet to hear a rational response.

so i just joined my high school swim team, and i need to know how to dive of the blocks correctly in swimming, cuz every time i do it my goggles fall off down my face, so i have to quick swim up, rub the water out of my eyes, then put my goggles back on which iis a fail process. i feel like they are pretty snug and tight around my head and ive been trying to tuck my head down so i dont hit the water face first. so i am thinking about getting an xbox360, but i am worried about xbox live (which is the best part). im worrying because we have wifi internet and whenever we go on wifi on our nintendo wii, it tends to lag. will this also be a problem with xbox live or does xbox have better internet connection or what?

hey, im thinking about getting a 360 with live, problem is i only have wifi internet at my house, so i have 2 questions. one-do i have to buy some special wifi adaptor for the xbox and if so how much does it cost. and two-does live work worse on wifi than on a ground line, is it more laggy or just the same?
