I have depression but have no motivation to help it. Long explanation ahead. My parents and even my best friend say that I should do more to help myself but I don't want to. I feel if I do it would only be to please them. I'm good with just living day by day doing what I need to to take care of myself. I somehow manage to. My friend goes to a clinic where they have services to help people with different aspects of life like managing health, cooking, counseling, nutrition courses for diabetes etc. She's always telling me that she thinks it would help me if I go, but I just haven't had to motivation to go there. I can't drive and would most likely need to set up transportation through my insurance. And my parents say that when they're dead and gone no one will care about me to help me. Which doesn't help either. I know deep down I'm depressed but at the same time feel content. It's hard to explain. 

I had my first colonoscopy today and just now I noticed white scratch like marks on my lower belly. Is this normal? My Dr did take some biopsies.

I got him some fresh water and was carrying the bowl back to its spot and tripped over my own feet which I have a problem with. My cat just happened to be right beside me and water spilled into his eye. He's now squinting it. He's able to open it just not as wide. I feel very bad. Don't know what it could be other than the water.

I couldn't get a picture so ill describe it the best I can. It's on the left side of his body. It appears to kinda like cotton. It's too big to possibly be ick which is a bunch of little white spots all over the body. It's been there for about a week. I thought it might go away by itself but it hasn't. I looked up a list of betta diseases with symptoms and pictures but couldn't find one that matches this. He lives in a 3 gallon filtered heated tank. It has a hammock leaf for him to lay on and a couple decorations on the bottom. I'm very vigilant about doing water changes when needed. I'm not sure what this could be as I've been keeping bettas for many years and have never seen anything like this. I appreciate help!

Recently I started having these feelings come over me. It always happens at night usually when I'm laying in bed. I'll be laying there thinking about tomorrow or whatever and it comes up. It's a very malevolent feeling. I have to look all around me and even glance out the apartment window and nothings there. My roommate has told me she's felt the same thing more than once. When I lived with my parents on several occasions in my peripheral vision I saw what I thought were shadow beings but I can't say for sure because it was so quick. I'm not into anything bad my roommate and I are both Christians. Why is this happening? Please don't be rude.

I'm a 27 year old female. My weight fluctuates usually it's between 245 and 250 lbs. I have thyroid issues which I'm on medication for. I used to only weigh 140 lbs and somehow it crept up on me. I actually went on a ketogenic diet with my mom and lost but gained it all back. I think I got my biological fathers obese genes because he was always big. My mom is about the same height as me and weighs about 170-175 lbs. Is this bad? Please no rude answers.

He's a 13 year old Maine coon domestic shorthair cross that we rescued in 2010. Neutered male. Sometimes he poops in it but most of the time he doesn't. He always pisses in it. I always make sure the litter box is scooped.

We're going in early October for my birthday. I'm overweight and have to watch what I eat. I know they sell funnel cakes and churros but what are some healthier options?

Which brings up the question how did a few humans manage to care for all the animals? Feeding, cleaning up after them, specific diets like meat for the carnivores, bamboo for the pandas?

He's a veil tail male. This morning I woke up and saw in the corner of his 3 gallon tank he was blowing bubbles. Right by his filter. It's takes up an entire area.

Normally he eats like a pig but today when I fed him he just swam away. I feed 5-8 pellets of Hikari betta bio gold which he's never had trouble eating. I feed once a day. And he also loves bloodworms. He's a Cambodian veil tail.
