25 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoDo men think about SEX all day long? Is it true that men think about SEX every seven seconds?
The average male thinks about sex every seven seconds.
A friend of mine asked me if this statistics was true. So i replied:
Well, it's not technically true. I dont think men think:
food - food - food - food - food - food - SEX - math - math - math - math - math - math - SEX - tv - tv - tv - tv - tv - tv - SEX... Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
It will be more like:
food-food-math-math-tv-tv... 60 minutes ... ASCII Porn-ASCII Porn-ASCII Porn- 30 minutes... Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
hehe just kidding!
So what do you think?

What’s the purpose of human life? Where did we come from? Where are we going? What are we? Is life on Earth simply a ticket to heaven? Is life on Earth a test we must pass in order to get into heaven? Is it possible that human life has some other purpose?

11 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships1 decade agoWhat makes a person effective in life?
I felt that I was wasting my life. Although my family was financially secure -- we had a nice home and were considered prosperous by our community -- I didn't feel that I was living a meaningful life. A deep feeling of emptiness gnawed at me. I analyzed my life situation and compared it with the lives of others whom I respected. What was the difference? Those I admired all made a significant contribution to the welfare of others. Each did this in a unique way. But the common denominator was that they all did things that made a difference in people's lives. I made a sincere commitment to do the same.

7 AnswersTrivia1 decade agoShould publicly supported education programs include the distribution of condoms?
Providing condoms to students in public education programs will reduce the incidence of underage pregnancy and the spread of sexually transmitted diseases. If one accepts the premise that condoms are an effective means of prevention, it stands to reason that their distribution could have a significant impact.
HOWEVER, providing students with condoms actually encourages the earlier onset of sexual activity. If young people believe they will be “safe” when using a condom they are much less likely to be deterred from engaging in dangerous and immoral behaviour.

2 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoShould the sale and consumption of alcohol be further restricted, or even banned?
Alcohol is just as potentially addictive as many illegal drugs. Those who do become addicted to alcohol often lose their marriages, jobs, families, even their lives. A large proportion of homeless people find themselves in that position as a result of their alcoholism. Any drug this addictive and destructive should be illegal.
So, what do you say? Should the sale and consumption of alcohol – the world’s favourite drug – be further restricted, or even banned?

12 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoAre beauty contests harmful?
Beauty contests promote an ideal of female beauty to which only a minority of women can realistically aspire, but which adds to the pressure on all women to conform to it. This can be harmful to women by encouraging dieting, eating disorders and cosmetic surgery, or simply by making them feel inadequate and ugly.
Women in beauty contests are judged on their physical appearance rather than on any other qualities they may possess (the existence of a ‘talent’ element in many such contests is all very well, but ugly women simply aren’t going to win). Judging women, but not men, primarily on their looks contributes to the subjugation of women because other qualities, such as intelligence, are not seen as part of ideal femininity and therefore not as things to which women should aspire.

13 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoScience: a Threat to Society?
Science is pushing back the boundaries of human knowledge and understanding further than many people feel comfortable with. Both cutting edge technologies, such as cloning, and other more established procedures, such as in vitro fertilisation, have sparked moral outrage and accusations of ‘playing God’ from certain sections of society. And, of course, the global stockpile of nuclear weapons is just one illustration of the possible danger introduced by scientific advances. Science has shown itself capable both of killing and curing – on balance, for which does it have more potential?
