I know an older couple?
and they have about 8 stray cays & kittens hanging around their house. The wife tripped over one and broke her hip. They are looking to get rid of them, but cannot find any place in Notyheast PA who will take them. Can anyone help with this one>

thinking of adding a shady garden with a variety of bleeding hearts and other foliage. If I plant them now without getting rid of all the moss will they survive over the winter in the east? I plan on removing most of it in early spring when the weather is a bit warmer. Any info is appreciated.
