  • So, all you conspiracy theory people out there, what happened to "Operation Bite?"?

A question for Crypto Jew Girl/ Nancy/Surfer Dude/Hippie/Citizen of the New World/Skip/Ugly Betty/Bella Buela/Perry L/Sgt BMF/Brenda/ Ginger....did "Operation Bite" turn into "Operation Bite Me?" 4AM, Friday, April 6th came and went, and no "surprise attack" on Iran. Why am I not surprised? And so, NOW what do you have to say? Anything? Anything at all?

  • Hey, Crypto Jew Girl! It's April 6th! What happened?

And the answer is: NOTHING! No bombing of Tehran, no "Operation Bite," nothing! So what happened, sweet cheeks? Care to tell us, or are you going to just slink away with your tail between your legs?

  • When did Osan AB, ROK become a remote tour?

Last I heard, Osan AB was a two-year accompanied tour. I was last in Korea in 1990, so my knowledge of the base stops there.

  • How can you be "readmitted" to something that you never left?

Lincoln and the people of the North stated that secession was "illegal" and "unconstitutional," and maintained that because of this the Southern states had never left the Union, even though they seceded. People from the North to this day still say that's the case, that secession was illegal and that the Southern states never left the Union. If that's true, then why did the Federal government under Andrew Johnson require each of the Southern states to be "re-admitted" to the Union before they could once again have a representative in Congress and receive federal assistance? Other than the Federal troops being used to occupy the South during Reconstruction, that is.

So why did the South have to be "re-admitted" to something it never left?

  • Am I the only one who thinks that Velcro on a combat uniform is a stupid idea?

I mean, come on, really...Velcro on a uniform that you wear into situations where making even the smallest noise can give away your position and get you killed? What was the guy who designed this new uniform thinking, and what was the guy who bought it thinking as well?

  • How can you be "re-admitted" to something you never left?

The Union government and Abraham Lincoln never recognized the right of the Southern states to secede, and maintained that they never left the Union. Yet after the war was over, all of the former Confederate states had to be "re-admitted" to the Union, a condition of which was ratification of the 13th Amendment. How can this be? How can you be "re-admitted" to something you never left?

  • What "crimes" has Bush committed?

I defy anyone in this forum - and I mean anyone - to post solid, proven facts, not spin-doctored fairy tales or some drivel from a conspiracy theory web site, of ANY criminal act as defined by law that President Bush, Vice President Cheney, former Secretary of Defense Rumsfield, or Secretary of State Rice have committed in the past six years. Be prepared to cite chapter and verse as to what they allegedly did. If you're going to say that someone committed war crimes, then you'd better be able to state both specifics - DATE, TIME AND LOCATION OF THE OFFENSE - and the specific passage in a legal, binding document that specifically says what they did was a war crime. If you're going to say that they violated the US Constitution, be prepared to cite both specifics - DATE, TIME AND LOCATION OF THE OFFENSE - and the exact verbage and/or requirement and/or amendment that they violated.
