I have wracked my brain. If someone could explain this to me, I'd greatly appreciate it. I know it has to do with f=c/l, but I can't plug it right to find the answer I need.

I am writing a paper on the process coping with death (5 stages of grief). I have writers block and can't figure out how to finish my introduction.

"There isn't a specific way to deal with the loss of a family member."

If I write it like that, it just doesn't sound complete or professional.

My somewhat conservative Baptist church has been getting kinda Pentecostal lately. We've got an attendee that has been really distracting and I believe is making the congregation uncomfortable (I know I am). The preacher doesn't seem to mind, but if it distracts us, how could it not him? This person yells "amen, hallelujah, preach on, good word" after almost everything the preacher says. It takes our attention off of the sermon and places it on her. What would you do? I consider myself open with our preacher, but this is such a tough situation because all praise should be loud, proud and to Jesus. Who are we to say anything at all? Ugh. Moral dilemma. Oh and I have approached the distracter and all she said was "when I feel it, I praise him!" I guess i wasnt clear enough. Thanks

I have reset my modem and router to factory settings. Both computers (Mac and PC) are set to automatically connect wirelessly. I don't have any passwords, firewalls or anything in place on either computer. Both laptops recognize and connect to the router, but I can not pull up any internet sites. My modem is also working because if I connect directly using an ethernet cable, I can surf. Suggestions on how to connect wirelessly? Setting I am missing? Is it an IP address problem? Thank you!

everytime I click an email address on a webpage, Mac Mail comes up. I use Yahoo mail and don't want to pay for POP access, so I don't plan on using Mac Mail. Is there a way to change my settings on my Mac computer to go to yahoo mail instead of opening the Mac Mail program?

I am in the market for a new laptop. I have owned 1 HP and 2 Compaq's and have realized that the Compaq's screens go bad within 2 years (the reason I ended up buying a second one of them). My HP was good...but nothing significant makes me want to buy another one.

I have many friends, who are telling me to try the Mac, but want non-biased reviews on why. What are the pro's and con's of the Mac versus PC's? How easy is it to go from PC to Mac? What about installing printers, wireless internet etc? Also, does Mac come with Word (or something like it) or do I have to purchase that separately.

I am hatching my own chickens and my first egg started hatching a couple days ago and has still yet to break free. It's almost like it's stuck. It's peeping a lot I think out of frustration too LOL. Can I help it out by cracking the egg a bit more for it?

My neighbor gave me a horseradish root and I am not sure how I can preserve it. I have read in my Joy of Cooking cookbook and all it talks about is pretty much pickling it in vinegar. Does that take away from the actual raw horseradish taste? I was thinking of cutting it up into medalions and freezing them, so that when I am ready, I can shred those to make sauce. What do you think?

I am having a tattoo removed (laser) and the plastic surgeon recommended that I use this cream along with the laser treatments to help it along (since he can't turn up the laser anymore. What it's supposed to do is bring the cells to the surface so it helps break up the ink in my tattoo. I looked it up when I got home and found it was an anti-viral cream used for genital warts (and that it was around 300 bucks a tube-ouch!). Now I can't remember the name of it. Any ideas?

I would guess that you couldn't sanitize them for more surgeries, but I don't know.

Do they destroy them or sell them?

When I go to Mobile IM to sign into Yahoo messenger on my phone (Voyager), under the sign-in/password areas, there is an box that you can click that "enables IM forwarding" What is that exactly? If I am signed into messenger on a computer, does it send the messages to my phone ALSO if I am IMing someone?

What I don't get is why would I need "forwarding" if I am signed in on my computer or if I am signed in on my phone!?!?

More specifically-does itunes keep track of what you purchased and allow you to redownload them if your computer crashes?

I uploaded like 110g of music from an external hard-drive and have quite a bit of music that isn't transferring to my ipod. When I look at the individual songs that aren't, there is an exclamation mark next to the song...

What does that mean? Do I have formatting issues? How do I fix it?

Okay so yeah, I have made the mistake a few times of driving on the interstate at 75-80mph in 4-high and accidentally a couple of times in low for approx 10 miles each time (2007 Yukon doesn't have an indicator light to show when vehicle is in 4WD and I don't pay attention and forget...). Now-of course I am having issues with my vehicle slipping in and out of 4 wheel drive. I am still under warranty, but if I take it in and don't tell them about my dumbsh*t driving-will they know???

I am finally consolidating all my music (from computer, cds and even tapes) onto an external hard drive. I have a 20g Ipod and am in the market for a larger one.

So far, I have filled my Itunes with over 80g of music...and I still have about 150 more CD's to go.

I prefer not to buy a 160gb Ipod since they are so overly priced...so can ya'll recommend another brand where I can get at least 100g of space and not pay out the wazoo for it?
