4WD-transfer case-issues?

Okay so yeah, I have made the mistake a few times of driving on the interstate at 75-80mph in 4-high and accidentally a couple of times in low for approx 10 miles each time (2007 Yukon doesn't have an indicator light to show when vehicle is in 4WD and I don't pay attention and forget...). Now-of course I am having issues with my vehicle slipping in and out of 4 wheel drive. I am still under warranty, but if I take it in and don't tell them about my dumbsh*t driving-will they know???

I never heard of this problem being caused by driving fast on the interstate in 4 wheel drive. I do it all the time and have been for years. Since you have an electronic transfer case I would go with the fact that there is a problem in that part of it. Take it to the dealer. If it is going in and out of gear it's not the mechanical parts of the transfer case. When they break they don't work at all.
