Are there any steps to file a greivance with JAG or the I.G?
You see, about a month ago, we were promised housing OCONUS once steps were made to show that our EFMP member actually should be considered top priority for family housing. We complied with the recieving housing chief's request and our incoming company commander and 1st sgt were told we were number 2 on the housing list. Once we arrived in country, we were dropped off the housing list and the housing chief denied our priority claiming that our EFMP medical condition did not warrant living on post. She supposedly had a pediatrician at our new duty assignment look over my son's records-which is a falsehood because the records were turned in 3 days AFTER the pediatrician supposedly looked them mover.
We have looked at housing off post, and all are new construction with new chemical smell and most are in new complexes being built. Both situations would extremely aggravate my son's asthmatic condition. We are told we have to visit the EFMP doctor here in order to get another letter stating that we shoul have priority for housing-eventhough we have that letter from the STATES.
There are written communications that exist between the company commander and housing and verbal communication between the 1st sgt and housing. How far can I push this issue to get us on the top of the list for housing?
6 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoWhy can I not make my hair look like it did when I left the salon?
I am supposed to have the "Meg Ryan Shag" but I cannot get this hair to do what my stylist made it do. I use the flat iron like she did, but my hair is only frizzing. I bought the products she used. What am I doing wrong?
