Why can I not make my hair look like it did when I left the salon?

I am supposed to have the "Meg Ryan Shag" but I cannot get this hair to do what my stylist made it do. I use the flat iron like she did, but my hair is only frizzing. I bought the products she used. What am I doing wrong?

try going over the section more than once. usually people don't do that and they think it will work the same. flat iron your general style, then use a polmade type product. that will help from getting frizzy, and it will hold the style.

Those stylists use those hardcore superhot flat irons. They're way hotter and better than the ones that are sold to the public.

Just had to answer this because I live your screen name. I can't explain the mystery...it must be in the salon's water. I really do believe the styles work there because your hair is in shock at that time. If you solve this one, you'll have to publish.

i swear... they like make it impossible to redo the hairstyle they gave you. they want you to come back and spend more money to get it styled again.

  • maybe your hair is curly
