I'm currently using my GI Bill to go to school. I have used it for the past 2 years at a community college and the process was quick as well as complete long before any deadlines. The one time I did cut it close, the cashier's office just put a note in that I was a GI Bill student and I incurred no late fees. NOW, I've switched to a 4-year university and the payment deadline is TOMORROW. I still have not been cleared from any late fee penalties and the cashier's office wants me to pay $900 that they'll refund me later to keep from incurring the fee. I'm opting to just take the fee, but how long after your school submitted the certification did it take for the VA to pay the school?

I am active duty Navy, E-5 with 4+ years.

On NYE I experienced my first seizure. I was standing in line at Target and the checker flashed the scanner gun in my eyes and I had a grand mal seizure. It was due to meningitis. Two days after I was discharged from the hospital I had a simple seizure. Basically I was alert and awake but I couldn't move. My head was turned left and my face was frozen in the dumbest grin. I also couldn't walk correctly, my husband had to walk me sideways. The whole weekend I've been trying to figure out what happens next. I have heard a rumor that 2 seizures mean you're out. The guy said I could be medically retired but he's just some guy.

A little background: I went to the ER twice for horrible migraines, the clinic once to follow up and the ER for the simple seizure. All four times I was technically sent away with nothing.

12/19 ER1: given afrin and 2 days of SIQ

12/27 ER2: given tylenol and motrin

12/28 Clinic: told to keep a headache journal for 3 more weeks

12/31 ER(seizure at target) kept for 5 days

1/6 ER3: told to wait for 2 hours, no testing done and sent home without anything

My question is do you think they'll kick me out? If they do, would I have a case for medical neglect? Thanks for your help.

Additional: they did a lumbar puncture which tested positive for meningitis. I was isolated for 2 days while they ruled out bacterial meningitis. Once they ruled it out they kept me until they decided I had asymptomatic viral meningitis and sent me home without a second lumbar puncture. The seizure WAS triggered by the scanner. This is a question about whether or not I would be discharged not about the validity of my experience.

I'm currently active duty Navy. I know that through the Navy I can go to any military facility, but I don't want to use them anymore. My husband and I want to have a baby and I feel as though the overworked and over flowing military system caused me to miscarriage (long story). Has anyone heard of using your spouse's insurance? Basically he and I will still use the military medical for everything else, but we'll use his insurance for infertility treatments, if we need them, and for a pregnancy, when it happens. I know under Tricare I have to use an MTF, but I just want to be sure I won't get in trouble for using an outside health insurance.

I'm Active Duty in the Navy. I found out I was pregnant on 2/7 and was transferred off the ship on 2/11 (nuclear vessel). On 2/19 I miscarried naturally (as naturally as possible) meaning no D&C. Is it still possible to get convalescent leave for mental health reasons or is it only for girls who had the fetus removed surgically.

Before anyone gets rude about my duties to the Navy, I'm not asking for a vacation. I'm depressed over the loss of a child and don't want to go back to the place where everyone was angry that it was going to be born.

I just bought a dress for a Christmas party that reminds me a lot of Audrey Hepburn and I wanted to play it up. I bought a "pearl" necklace and I will be getting some black gloves. I can't find a single picture of her hair close up except for the Breakfast at Tiffany's picture. What else can I add to the ensemble to look like her?

I am decorating my apartment and need some help. I have a beige couch set that has a paisley design. I have absolutely nothing else in my house so I'm working from the ground up. Okay not the ground, the carpet is beige as well.

I have been reading a lot of questions posed by 15-18 year old girls. One girl actually tried to get pregnant while she was only 16. Now the same girl is looking for LV or Burberry diaper bags so that she can "be the envy of the playground." She quit school to go to cosmetology school.

So here are my questions, when did having a child become a fashion statement? Do you think it's right that these children are trying to get pregnant? What are parents teaching their children that they believe dropping out of school is a good idea?

I personally think girls should be mandated to use birth control until their 18th birthday and the graduate high school.

First Question: I want to be a recruiter eventually. I have had a small mastable offense (failure to report underaged drinking) But I was let off pretty easy (7 days restriction 1/2 weeks pay). I am only an ETSN right now but would like to know what kind of steps should I take to make it easier to get there. I have a passion for helping people get the most out of their career and their military experience.

Second Question: Has anyone been to Bahrain before? It's looking like I will be there for more than a month waiting for my ship. I just wanted to know what to expect from being there.

I know a lot of people say that once you stop trying to have a baby is when it will happen. Well, I tried for 2 years then my husband and I made a decision to go back on BC.

I was prescribed Yaz and it's got 4 inactive pills. I took the 4th one already and there is still no sign of my period. I'm a little worried that since I have stopped ttc, I may actually be pregnant. I have tests but I have to wait until tomorrow to take it.

My question is, how long does it usually take for your period to show up on Yaz? I was very regular before BC and now I'm late (it's actually day 32 for me)...

I'm in the middle of a PCS move right now. My orders say report not earlier than Saturday but there is a paper in my record that says I'm done with travel on Thursday. What date should I report?

I am currently 21 years old. I have tried for almost a year (on and off) to get pregnant. I want to know if this could possibly be something wrong with me or him. We've timed everything, done everything right and still are having trouble. Is there something we need to be doing? Also, what are options as far as what a doctor can do. I'm in the Navy and don't have many options as far as fertility testing and all that crap.

I know how old I am. I am married and in the military. I don't need anyone to tell me I am too young, I am a big girl. I want a child of my own and don't want any lectures about living life.

2 weeks ago while we were out, he was hugging on a girl and got her number. He says he didn't know I would get mad. He always points out hot girls when we're together. Should I be worried about leaving?

We fight about everything. EVERYTHING! I am not sure what to do, I love him so much but I just feel like with my upcoming life change, somethings gotta give.

He stood by me when I cheated on him in the beginning and stayed by my bed while I was in the hospital.

What should I expect? I leave on June 18th and am in no way prepared. I was expecting a waiver to come through and it didn't so I'm leaving a lot earlier. I have a lot of questions that I need answered.

Do I need to know everything that is in my DEP manual, or is it just more convenient to know?

Are they going to cut my hair? (I'm a female)

What can I really take with me? I have a list but my step-dad said they won't let me keep anything.

If I don't pass my IFA, can I still go? I am iffy on the running part.

I am signing and swearing in on Wednesday and Thursday to the Navy. I want to know how will I get up to Great Lakes? And is this the only Boot Camp for the Navy? Thank you!

I'm looking into a spring-loaded stripper pole to get for my Fiance for our anniversary. It doesn't say but I want to know if it can actually hold your body wieght. (I'm 5'3" and 130) I live in an apartment and can't install one so this is my only option. BUT if all I can do is dance around it, I can just use my lamp, not a $200 piece of metal.

She is a small chihuahua mix and loves the floor! She goes outside frequently but still slips up in the house... how do I fix this?
