4 AnswersLanguages1 year agoWhy does Blended (2014) have such poor Rotten Tomatoes scores?
I thought the movie was impressive, especially for Adam Sandler in 2014. It was a fun family movie that had a thorough plot and good comedy.
5 AnswersMovies2 years agoHow to learn new things?
How do you learn new things when people who are REALLY good at those things want to teach you them because they like those things so much but then you feel like you ask dumb questions all the time when they're teaching you and you forget and you lack arm strength and stuff like that?
2 AnswersOther - Education3 years agoWhy do feminists exist—women ALREADY have equal rights in the U.S.?
I looked up the definition of "feminism" and it is as follows:
"the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes."
By this definition, I would completely understand feminists living in different areas of the world where women do not have the same rights or social status as men.
However, here in the U.S., women have had the same rights and social privileges as men for DECADES now.
When women say that "women deserve the same rights as men," it discourages me because I thought that was already a given.
Are people feminists because they are ignorant? Do they confuse sexual harassment with social inequality?

I am considering bartering a like new computer chair worth $60 for a titanium ring size 10. I do not intend to use the ring, but to barter it for more.
Should I instead hang on to the chair?
2 AnswersOther - Business & Finance3 years agoShould I ask my bf to Sadie Hawkins?
Last time we went to a dance together, it went badly. We didn t really have fun, even though I enjoyed getting out of the house. I just don t like dancing.
We ve received some pressure to go to Sadie Hawkins together, though, since we re the only real couple in my church youth group.
Should we go? Or should I take him out to dinner instead or something?

5 AnswersComics & Animation4 years agoNicknames to call your significant other other than "babe"/"baby"?
I hate the idea of calling your sig other "babe" and "baby." I m also not too fond of "sweetheart" or "honey." In Spanish, spouses refer to each other as "mi vida," meaning "my life." Much more romantic and meaningful, though it would obviously be a little unnatural-sounding to call your sig other "my life" in English culture in a casual conversation. Are there any other more meaningful, yet still natural-sounding, nicknames to call your sig other?
3 AnswersLanguages4 years agoDid anyone actually buy the iPhone 7?
Compared to the previous models of the iPhone (1-5), I think everyone is pretty content with their iPhone 6 s. Plus, I m not sure that too many people are interested in a phone lacking an aux outlet.
Did anyone actually buy the iPhone 7 or did it plunk?
2 AnswersCell Phones & Plans4 years agoHow do I meet a performer if I am going to their show in Las Vegas? I really want to meet him. Advice?
Okay,
I am going to see Steven Martin's show in Las Vegas this year. I am so ecstatic, as I've never been to one of his shows, and I've always wanted to meet him.
Anyway, I don't really go to shows or concerts much, so I don't really know how this works. How can I meet Steve Martin during this opportunity? You know, and get a picture with him?
I checked on the website, and it doesn't look like there's VIP passes or anything that I could buy.
Can you give me some advice?

4 AnswersMovies4 years agoHow to move photos from my iPhone onto my MacBook Air?
Okay, this isn't really what my question's about, so keep reading:
I have about 1,000 vacation photos that are in my Photos app on both my iPhone and my MacBook Air. Because they are taking up storage on my phone, I want to keep them on my computer only. However, I would still like them to be in the Photos app on my computer, not a separate file. How can I delete certain photos from my iPhone without deleting them on my MacBook?
2 AnswersSoftware4 years agoHow to consolidate my Skype accounts?
So, I just figured out today that I have two different Skype accounts with two different emails. I only want one Skype account, so I am wondering how to consolidate these accounts.
I do not want to just delete the account that I don't use because it is connected with the email that I use most. Is there any way to instead merge the two accounts or switch the emails?

1 AnswerSingles & Dating4 years agoQuestion about Amazon Go: How does it detect WHO grabs an item off the shelf?
Amazon Go. The video here explains it well: https://www.amazon.com/b?node=16008589011
I understand most of the concept, except for one part. How do the shelves or computers within the shelves know who is grabbing or returning an item?
Does it detect your phone in near proximity or something?
If so, what if two people are looking at the same item, and one grabs it while the other grabs it then immediately returns it? How will the computer detect who returned their item if two people/phones are in the same proximity?
I may have this all wrong, so please explain!
1 AnswerCorporations4 years agoHow to phrase this in a funny way? (Witty people needed!)?
I'll keep it short:
My cousin is six years old, yet he has travelled to precisely five more continents than I (16 yo) or my sister (18 yo) have. And four more continents than our mom has.
How do I phrase this fact in a funny way? I am writing a Christmas letter to my relatives, and I want to state essentially "We might not have travelled to six continents by the age of six, but we have our achievements." But I don't think this phrasing is funny enough.
Ideas please?
