I got a salvaged module with bluetooth from a 08 Malibu and want to put it in my 2011 Impala. I took the wires and antenna from the salvaged car and swapped out the Impala unit with the salvaged unit with bluetooth. The connections are all made and swapped out the antenna, but the controls on the wheel and mirror dont reaspond. Am I missing a step? I dont need onstar, just the bluetooth option with wheel controls.

PS, i put original unit back in and it works. Does a chevy dealer have to do something to it?

I am trying to network two laptops, one running 7, the other 8.1. I have them linked together via Cat5 to a router. When I hit network, it shows my other laptop, i click on it then it asks me for username and password? how do i find this info? this is in both directions by the way.

On firefox I keep getting these websites that pop up on the tab I am in using saying I need to update adobe and website forgery detected and firefox is outdated. The URL at top is resolutionwork.com.

This just started becoming a problem about 2 weeks or so ago.

What could be the issue and what would i need to get to fix this tranny?

I have a Toshiba Satellite s55t-a5389. Can I upgrade the wireless card to one with Bluetooth? If so, what card do I have to get. I dont want to do the USB chip, I would rather one built in. When I bought the laptop, the ad said Bluetooth, but after I bought it I found out it don't. Thanks in advance.

Were can I get a part for the starter motor of a 2010 Hyundia Sonata ( spelling? ) I need the shift lever that goes from the solenoid to the starter motor. It is the parts that moves the starter gear in and out. Buying a new starter is going to be over 200 bucks. This piece aint worth that.

the front seat warmers do not work at all. not lights come on and no fuse is blown ( none that I can see ) is there a relay or some other fuse I am missing that is not in the fuse box in the engine room or the fuse box left side dash??? we just bought this a few days ago and the mechanics have no clue whats wrong, unless I pay them another few hundred bucks.

How can i get windows media player to play MKV files. I tried this matroskia thing but it seams to be out of service. MKV converters I have found I would have to pay for to remove water marks or to convert things over a set time limit ( like 10 minutes or so)

any ideas or help>?

I Have a hard drive I am trying to see whats on it and when I hook it up nothing happens but a little thing pops on my Window screen-Computer-. It shows the Drive as Local Disk (E), but nothing else. When I click on it nothing happens except it tells me its busy ( status bar up top ). When I disconnect the USB cord from the computer or the drive, a message pops up saying I need to format disk. I dont know much much about computers, but I do know I need whats on the drive.

My lap top is Toshiba Satellite running windows 7 ( born with Vista ) and the drive is a Samsung Spin Point at 40 GIGS.

The drive came from a tower computer that was running something shy of Vista if not Vista.

I just want to know how Can I open this drive and explore it?

I know how to adjust the size by right clicking and then going to view. But what I want to know is how do I get it to go bigger then the Extra Large option?

Is there a way to edit a registry on Windows 7?

This very annoying thing will not go away. I have uninstalled it, got ride of it in my add-ons and what not, but every time I open a new tab in Firefox, babylon keeps coming up. How do I get ride of this?

I did a search on my entire computer for "babylon" but nothing came up.

You tube would play just fine a few weeks ago but now will not play at all. Firefox will not play any internet videos at all. I have updated and reloaded everything dealing with Firefox. Adobe, plug ins, flash players, EVERYTHING!!!!

What am I missing?

Internet Explorer will play the videos just fine, but would like to keep Firefox.

I want to know if there is a way I can make the thumbnail view larger when you open a pic folder.

I have a picture folder with about 1,200 pics in it. When i open the folder up I can choose from small, medium. large and extra large. Extra large is ok, but would like to make it bigger. Is there a way I can do this with out opening the pic and viewing it full size ( which takes time to load )

2002 pontiac sunfire. Automatic, 2.2 single over head.

Vibrations coming from the front when driving. Also when I go from Reverse to Drive, and visa versa, and give it a little bit of gas I hear a popping noise. ( like when your knee pops when you get up, (but in car terms ) I believe its the axle on the passenger side, but am not sure. I took the tire off and can see the joint coming out of the tranny not spinning smoothly, wobbling lets say. ( jacked the car up and idled it in drive and reverse) It also moves up, down, front and back slightly ( not spinning ) When I had the front end jacked up, I can also hear a clunking noise when idling in drive and reverse. Is this the axle or is it something inside the tranny????

For the past few days videos on Youtube will not play. I keep getting a error message thats says to try again later. I also noticed no other video or audio will play from any websites. I can play music and videos that i have downloaded, just not from online websites.

What could be wrong.?????

For the past few days I have not been able to play any videos on my laptop. Websites like Youtube keeps telling me there is an error playing your video, please try again later. I can watch videos I have downloaded like Movies and such, just nothing coming from the net like youtube.com or any news clips from news sites. what do i need to do to fix this problem.

I have been trying to by pass DRM on a few video files i have. None of the free software online for legally removing or by passing DRM works.

So my question is, how can I get around DRM on a DRM protected file that requires me to log in to an account I don't have.
