  • Has anyone sold thirty-one that would share their thoughts?

I'm considering selling thirty-one. There's no one in my area that sells thirty-one gifts. I know, thought - from previous experience, it's not always what it's cracked up to be. I'd like to know what your experiences were, good and bad. I'd like to know the percentage that I'll be getting in return from sales. I'd like to know how delivery from the company takes place. Anything you can think of. Thanks!

  • What gun and cartridge would you suggest for a first time hunter, over the age of 16?

The area will be Georgia and Tennessee. The game will be mostly deer, some wild pig on the side.

  • Recycling Bin - Compostable Garbage Bag or No?

Recycling Bin (not compost) - Is it more eco-friendly to use a compostable garbage bag in the bin or is it more eco-friendly to rinse out the bagless bin with a water hose? If you have any data to back up your answer please cite it along with your answer.

  • What is wrong with my 94 BMW 325i?

The original problem seemed to be overheating because of the loss of coolant when the top radiator hose connector (driver's side) broke off while going down the highway. A new radiator was eventually installed and fresh 50/50 coolant was added. The engine was cranked and allowed to reach operating temperature. The upper hose and lower hoses were squeezed to make sure there were no air bubbles.

As soon as the car was driven less than a mile, it began to overheat. The coolant was checked and the car was full. The radiator was removed and checked for blockage by running a water hose into each outlet and in both cases the water easily flowed out of the other outlet. The fan was removed in front of the engine. The thermostat cover was removed and the engine flushed by removing the original thermostat and replacing the thermostat cover and both the upper and lower hoses. Then using a water hose, water was flushed through the engine and very little, if anything, came out of the lower hose.

A new thermostat was placed in a pot and, just before boiling, it opened up as it should when reaching operating temperature in the engine. The new thermostat was installed, the radiator was installed, the two electrical connections made, all hose connections checked, and coolant re-installed. The engine was cranked and ran for about 10 minutes in which time it reached mid-point on the temperature gauge and remained for another 10-15 minutes. The car was then driven about a mile and began to overheat again. The top hose was hot. The bottom hose was warm. It appeared that the thermostat was not reaching the 180-190 degrees it needed to open even though the car gauge showed getting close to the red indicator area. The thermostat was installed with the spring inside the engine and with the pointed strap on the other end pointing toward the front of the car just as the original was.

  • Can you answer this relationship men/women question?

If you are a paralegal in the same county/city for ten years and your husband asks you a legal question... something mundane like "Can I appear in your place in traffic court?" and you answer him in the negative; then, your husband calls traffic court in front of you to ask them that very same question... why is he asking traffic court after you answered him?

  • Any Sims demos out there?

I've never played the Sims but have had a few friends over the years say they enjoyed playing. I am not buying it without downloading a demo first. I can't seem to find a demo online though. The only thing I could find was a Sims 2 sampler that just allowed you to make a Sims character (lame). Any help/links that contain demos (not abouts) would be appreciated.

  • Are there any pentecostal churches left?

I am, of course, referring to actively pentecostal churches. I am not referring to churches that call themselves pentecostal but no one has spoken in tongues in a year, whether it is to praise God or to deliver a word.

If you are part of a church that still actively worships through the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, please give me some encouragement that there is still life out there.

(Note: Pentecostalism is a religious movement within Christianity that places special emphasis on the direct personal experience of God through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, as shown in the Biblical account of the Day of Pentecost [Acts 2].)

  • Did this really happen or was it a hoax?

Quite frankly I'm simply too tired to do the research to find out if this truly happened or not, or at least if it was taken out of context in any way. Please let me know and cite the website that proves it's a hoax. Thanks!

  • Jeans & Tea Bags: What's your experience?

We're supposed to wear some "dirty jeans" for an event and can't find any that aren't ridiculously overpriced. I just bought two cheap pairs of jeans and am ready to get 'em "dirty" by way of tea bags. If you have any instructions, good experiences or bad, please post it here and I will be appreciative (10 pts appreciative).

I'm going for this sort of look:

  • How can I easily copy an imbedded DVD on a Mac?

I have a mac. I have a protected DVD. I want to make a copy of it. One ... simple ...copy. I tried using Mac the Ripper but it separated the DVD into file folders rather that were not playable. I'm not familiar with ripping DVDs so pardon my ignorance. I simply want to know what software to download and what the easy process is for one stupid copy. I usually don't get many answers for any question regarding a Mac... so I'll be surprised if I get more than five. Thanks for your help!

  • A "new" GI Bill?

What are your thoughts in regard to this:

Sen. Hillary Clinton has introduced a new bill...

The new legislation would eliminate the current requirement that servicemembers pay into the GI Bill program to receive educational benefits. Instead, any active-duty member who has served two consecutive years since 2001 would be eligible to receive eight semesters of tuition, based on the national average for college costs. Books, room and board, and other associated fees also would be covered. Reservists and Guardsmen who have served at least two years total on active duty since 2001 could see the same benefits.

  • How do I get my Mac G4 email to display my Bellsouth webmail?

I have a Mac G4 and have only used it for less than a year now. I'm newly converted from PCs. The operating system is OS 10.3.1. I have a bellsouth account and would like to integrate that Bellsouth webmail into my desktop email so that I don't have to always be connected to see my mail already received. I'm a pretty quick learner, though I have only used a mac for not even a year. Give me good directions and I will execute accordingly.

  • Why can some get in and some can't?

Yahoo! Games: I know you're all sick of seeing questions about various Yahoo! Games...nonetheless here's another. I haven't been able to get into Literati all day. No worries. I'm used to it. HOWEVER, I've also watched the number for my usual lounge escalate to 147. So, some people are obviously getting in. My question is this....how can they and I cannot?

*I won't accept "freak accident" as an answer and if I don't get a good answer no one will get the ten points because I'll just remove the question and take the hit as my own.

  • Mac: "You have inserted a disk containing no volumes that Mac OS X can read."?

I'm tired and I'm at a loss. I thought this was a surmountable problem. Apparently I was wrong. Anyhoo...I've done all of the simple things. Then, I everything else I tried to find to fix it...I either didn't have, couldn't figure out or it didn't work. I know this sounds idiotic...but, as I said, I'm tired. If you think you've got the answer as to why I'm getting this message and why the Mac isn't reading either of two different blank discs that I just need to add some frickin' pictures to, let me know.

  • Free domestic roundtrip ticket for giving up my seat?

I read on a message board, yesterday, that this dude makes a habit of buying plane tickets during peak hours on peak days and then when he gets to the gate he lets the attendant know that if they need anyone to give up their seats and wait for the next flight he volunteers. He said that when he does this they always give him a free domestic roundtrip flight to use within a year. Can anyone, possibly a person in the industry, give me some insight on this?
