  • My warning pipe in my bathroom suddenly started leaking quite badly, why would this happen?

I live in the first floor of a two-story condo. Out of the blue, the tube protruding out of the wall in my bathroom (warning pipe?) just started leaking drops of water. I had the Air Conditioning on at the time but also had an upstairs neighbor move in the same time the leak started. I am trying to figure out what might be the cause before calling a plumber?

  • Are there any churches that have non-paid clergy?

I am a now ex-Mormon that is still very interested in religion-Christianity however one thing I liked about Mormonism is that no one is paid. I'm looking for something similiar to Mormonism as far as worship services go (low key, no amens or praise Jesus all the time) but also with no pay or very little pay. I would be looking for a part-time minister/pastor position.

  • Does anyone in Phoenix really like living here?

Sorry to be so negative, but I have lived in Phoenix a little over 16 months and more or less think it is the white trash capital of the US. And considering I have lived in Texas and many other places, that's saying something. Not only that, but employment-wise it seems that moreso than other places I have lived, employers act like they own you. Seriously, it's like Phoenix doesn't know it's a big city yet. The lack of sophistication here outside of Scottsdale just seems alarming. But why in the world would I pay to live in Scottsdale when I could live in a place like San Diego (or a lot of other places) and pay about the same and not have to sit through 6 months of 110+ degree weather. Sorry Phoenix natives, I just don't get the attraction. Outside of not having to scrape ice off your car in the winter, what's really the attraction here???

  • My wife had sudden lower right abdominal pain and appendicitis was ruled out, any ideas?

Ok, so yesterday at 5 pm my wife gets home from work and suddenly feels a very sharp pain in her lower abdomen. She takes some asprin for the pain and then tries to sleep it off (she didn't have a fever). At about 10:30 without being able to sleep well due to the pain, she decides to be safe and we go to the ER.

So the doctors run the standard urine, blood, ultrasound, cat scan as well as a pelvic exam. Nothing, she gets the all clear and some stronger pain medication. But this doesn't make any sense to either of us.

A few more facts. My wife is only 27 but she's very small - 90 pounds. Recently she had the DEPPO shot and like a lot of women have had heavy spotting after the first month. But the most interesting part is that what triggered the pain was when she was trying to insert a tampon. Apparently the first attempt hurt quite a bit. She then took it out and put another one in. Since the pain continued she took the seocond one out after about an hour from the time of initial insertion.

Prior to the pain at inserting the tampon, she had commented to me that the last few days she had had some mild discomfort in the abdominal region. Of course the question is whether the tampon somehow caused the pain or just aggravated it?

Also, I was sort of suspecting an ovarian cyst but would have thought that the ultrasound would have indicated such. Obviously, we are sort of left scratching our heads because the pain was pretty bad and yet according to the ER doctor no abnormalities could be detected. We would appreciate any ideas or any possible further tests that might help to clarify.

BTW, my wife is still having mild discomfort in her abdomen. Any ideas or insights?
