I am not asking to mock or criticize I just don't understand the reasoning. Don't get me wrong, I am not a McCain fan either, I am not voting for the best man, I am voting for the man who I think wouldn't be as bad as the other. So my question is, Why are you voting for Obama?

I believe that as Christians we are to be good stewards of our environment but, I don't believe the US is destroying it. I think we are amongst the cleanest countries on the earth and I think by becoming slaves to this global warming thing we further threaten our economy. I think we therefore put things above people. Don't get me wrong like I said we should take care of creation but not to the point where people can't eat because food because we are burning corn for fuel. And besides this point, McCain believes in global warming too so what is the difference?

Obama believes in abortion, even if the baby lives through a botched abortion the doctors should still have a right to kill it. He voted to knock down all restrictions to abortion. If the man doesn't value innocent life, who's life does he value? This is my biggest reason for not voting for him. And almost my only reason for voting McCain.

Obama is fine with giving money to the poor as long as it's someone else's money. In my belief Jesus told me to feed the poor not for me to force someone else to do it on my behalf. There is no virtue in that. I don't really have a problem with helping someone else out. I think they should make an effort to help themselves out first. I Do give to the needy and believe all Christians should, I just don't forcefully take from someone else so that I can give it to someone who may or may not have tried to earn it. Obama said he is his brother's keeper, his brother, George, has been living in a hut in Africa living on 12 dollars a year. I am glad he isn't my brother.

I believe that birds of a feather flock together, and some of the guys he has hung around has been a wierdo preacher who says about other religions that Jesus said was talking about them when he said "And other sheep I have , which are not of this fold" Jn10:16 when what Jesus actually said was "And other sheep I have , which are not of this fold: them also I must bring , and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd." speaking of the gentiles.

Then there is Rezko that got him his property for about a million under value and now sits in prison for fraud and bribery and was under investigation for influence peddaling. Obama won him a 14million dollar development paid by the tax payers. These guys were tight although when Rezko went to jail Obama said "This isn’t the Tony Rezko I knew". Without saying it in those words he said the same thing about Jeremiah Wright.

Then there his friend the terrorist William Ayers who had a part in bombing the homes of judges and their families, federal buildings and even declared war on the United States. In the paper on sept 11, 2001 he said he wished he would have done more. This is a man who is the equivalent of timothy McVeigh but Ayers got away with it. And I would have nothing to do with him other than tell him what a low life he is. Whether or not I was 8 years old when these things happened has nothing to do with Ayers being a piece of trash. Strong words from a Christian but the man has no problem with killing to make a political point. Obviously Obama doesn't feel the same way I do.

Like I said I am not a McCain fan at all. I think he will be a lousy president but, I think Obama would be much worse and I can go on with my reasons why. But, I just want to know as a Christian, what justifies your vote for him. You can use Scripture if you wish, I live by them also. I would like if you addressed my points or if you felt the same way about McCain as I do Obama. I just want to know what makes you feel that this is the man you feel that God would want in office.

Please state your faith, and age. I am only doing this because I an curious, who votes for who, although I have a feeling I already know ;-)

I am a Christian and have little concern about hell. My belief is that without faith in Jesus Christ it is where everyone goes, it has little to do with whether you are good or bad.

My question is this,

Many do not share my faith, and many do not believe in a God or heaven and hell. I do not push my faith on others or taunt them or hardly mention it if is not brought up, so, why are so many people offended at this belief?

I treat all people the same, as I would like to be treated, all created in God's image. I would think how I treat others should be a better barometer of my character.

So, why does my opinion matter to them? I don't believe you have to be bad to go there. I know a little about other religions and if they believed I would go to hell because I did not believe as they do, I wouldn't care. Not in the least.

I really don't care what others think of me so, why do people care about what I think about them? Are they insecure? Maybe on the inside they know it's true?

churches? If you go to one, is it mostly younger people who attend? I have recently heard of this and am curious about it. I consider myself fairly open minded and any info would be helpful.

can a post modernist be taught or convinced of something if they believe all points are valid? Some things in life are black and white, right and wrong, true or false, but to someone who believes all arguments have points, can they be convinced of this and how would one go about doing this?

Or do I have a wrong idea of post-modernism? ;-)

I guess I am new to this concept and would like to hear all sides to this before making up my mind on it. if you are an emergent church goer please say so or if not please say so too.

So, I was wondering if you can explain the church's explanation on Leviticus 18:22 ,Romans 1:24-32, 1 Timothy 1:10 , 1 Cor. 6:9-10 .

I believe that all people should be treated with respect and loved as I would like to loved by others. But, I don't believe all people know truth. I really have no animosity toward anyone.

I was wondering if this is the same as just having sex outside of marriage, then why is it specifically mentioned or why doesn't God allow them to marry?

I was wondering why so many here call Christianity a terrible religion but, then turn around and call Islam a religion of peace. Don't get me wrong, I don't think all muslims are bad, some are wonderful people, but, so many of them are carried away with this kind of stuff. So, what I want, is,

2) which 2 or 3 Islamic countries would you like to live in, since I heard by some here how muslims treat others of other faiths so well.

3)Why are so many here are so quick to defend Islam compared to Christianity, Judaism, etc.

Just about me before this question probably gets deleted, I have no problem with muslims, I am sure there are alot of wonderful people who follow it. I just don't agree with their religion.

Please actually give this some thought and give a real answer instead of popping off with some quick answer that requires no thought.

I kinda like the the hire of Michigan, Rodriguez, I think it makes Ohio State a better team since they will have to spend more time learning to defend his style of offense which usually gave OSU problems. But since they didn't get a QB that fits his system, I think when Rodriguez finally gets his offense the way he wants it, Ohio state will be well prepared for it.

I think it will be awhile before Michigan wins one.

So, I was wondering if God gave you such a great truth why does it seem that Jews don't share it with others? I mean I have never been approached by a Jew asking me to convert. Why are there no Jewish missionaries? or have I just not heard of them.

I think alot of people believe it is the same God. Do you believe this? and is this a common view of your faith? I don't mean this as a question to start anything. I mean it. You don't have to explain it if you want. I was just curious. In my opinion the God of the Jews and Christians are the same, but the Muslim God is different.

I realize our first 5 books is your Torah but the rest are historical, the Prophets and Psalms, are they sacred to you also? Are there more books that are sacred to you also?

I kinda think I know but I was wondering if when you say God you say something else or is it just when when you write? So do you say God when speaking about Him or to Him or something else?
