I have tried just about everything I can and it is still not accessible. I do not want to change my password, I can access all other sites on Yahoo. I have been all over the network trying to open my email, no go.

My grandson Skip, (not his name) who is 10 asked me this question after a friend of ours husband was killed in Iraq. He said sometimes the police wear bullet proof vest so why can't our soldiers? I had never thought of this but I know there must be a good answer I can give Skip. Poppy

My friend told me her 4 year old granddaughter takes showers with her dad and wanted my opinion about it. I did not want to offend her but I said I thought his daughter was too old to be in the shower with her dad. That was my opinion of course. The dad of the child is her son. I shared a room with my sister. We had twin beds, our own chest of drawers but shared a vanity and mirror. There was never a private moment. I love to read in a quiet place but that was not possible. Sister was always in there with her transistor radio blaring ! A lot of times she had friends in there too, She was not a reader or book worm like me (that's what she called me) To me she was just annoying and we hardly ever got along. I swore that when I had kids they would never have to share a room. Poppy

A woman told me years ago that if your vehicle is dirty your house is dirty too. Well, I said my house is cluttered, but I do try to keep my car cleaned out. My car is not cluttered because I am the only one ever in it. Poppy

My house is our home, but although I like it clean and neat it does get cluttered more now than ever before. Why is that? My children are grown and live far away, so how is it I seem to keep it in such a mess? Hubby is no help except he will bring his laundry to the pantry to be washed. The living room and kitchen are kept clean and neat, even the visitors bath. That is because company can see these rooms. But the dining room and bedrooms are messy, newspapers, mags. books, everywhere. The dining room has clutter all over the table but I close the french doors (they have lace curtains) so folks won't see. I don't know If I have become lazy or just too tired to worry with it. We just live here, the house takes care of us now. Poppy

At Myrtle Beach SC back in the early 60's my friends and I would drive there to the pavilion to dance and have a wonderful time. Shagging had nothing to do with sex. It was a great dance and there use to be contest of couples to see who was best. I found out just recently that shagging has another meaning. Now I feel embarressed to know that I mentioned shagging in one of my answers. Lol. I thought people our age knew this dance or was it a southern thing? Poppy

Have you ever had a neighbor that was rude, hard to get along with, did things to spite you,down right mean? What did you do to deal with these awful people? We had a neighbor like that once, he was just a hateful person. He would even go out of his way to be rude to my children. My kids were not allowed to talk back to him just move out of the line of fire. He and hubby would have 'words' at times. I had constant headaches. The best place to be when we lived there was our back yard. We had a private fence where he could not see us. He was this way to all his neighbors around him. No one liked him and everyone tried to avoid him.I remembered this from a movie I watched the other night about a bad neighbor. This is why we now live in the country.
