I've been playing football for fitness for a couple of years. Any suggestions for ways to train myself to get better at, or exercises our coach could do, for improving at following play? Particularly who touched ball last, so know whether to let ball go off, whose throw in it is, etc. 

Most skills I want to improve our coach is full of ideas for exercises but this one is a little trickier! Please spare me the women playing football comments! 

Were some of the songs written more recently? Or is it referring to 1850s and 1880s? Doesn t seem likely somehow.

If you would have voted differently, why is that?

Anyone in a position that means they consider others requests for pay rises? If so, would really value your opinion on this. I have my appraisal tomorrow ahead of new financial year. I'm at the top of my pay band already. I some pretty big projects coming up at work and I'm already stretched to the limit in the work I do day to day. I can step up to deal with the bigger projects but I would like training and the guarantee of performance related bonus, or a pay rise. I may actually be planning to leave in before the year is up (my employer doesn't know this of course) so I would want any performance related element to pay out before next April, which would be the usual time for this to be considered. How do you think I should go about this negotiation.

I am tempted to mention that in my two previous jobs I was replaced by a person and a half with the managerial person on a higher salary than I was - because I tend to take on and expand the role I'm in. But does it sound emotional / irrelevant to bring this up?

I've just downloaded Tinder (I've got a Samsung phone). But when I click "Sign in with Facebook" if tries to load for ages and then says "There was a problem logging into Tinder. Please try again" (I've tried again a few times now, and no change).

Any help would be appreciated!

I always miss the beginning of new drama series on TV and end up getting them on dvd. But I fancy watching something while it's being shown this year. I don't watch much TV so don't see the ads and if I can avoid trawling through the TV guide clicking on everything to see what it is and whether it's the first episode etc that would be great. Any ideas? (I'm UK.) Thanks!

I'm assuming curling tongs are better than straighteners but as I've heard you can curling using the GHD straighteners I just want to check what other people have found - before selling my straighteners and buying curling tongs. My hair is very straight fine and silky and doesn't take to curls well at all so I want the most powerful way to make curls stay. I know, I should probably go and test both out but I'm being impatient and lazy! Thanks for your advice.

I've just done a coat of gloss on my balcony door and now it's raining - what will I need to do to sort it out?
