#6 Due in Sep :)

My 3 year old daughter is displaying quite a few symptoms of ASD.

She has very delayed speech; she will be 3 tomorrow and no one besides her daddy and I can decipher what she is saying. She didn't talk much at all until she was 16 months old and all she said was mommy, and ball. And even though she can talk now, she still cannot tell us what she wants.

She doesn't follow directions well (which may just be a 2 year old thing) and tunes people out when they are talking to her.

She also throws very extreme tantrums. She often throws herself on the floor and screams and screams to no end, even over the littlest things.

So what do you think...Autism or no autism?

And how old are they? Please be specific :)

DH and I are expecting #6 in September, but we are already brainstorming for names. We like Sadie for a girl, after my husband's mom, but the only middle name we can find is June.

For a boy, we are considering any of the following...WDYT?

Noah

Julian (After my mom Julie)

Marcus (After baby's uncle, Mark)

We are also open for suggestions, but please limit it to three or four.

I got my 4 year old son a basketball goal for inside (Little Tikes) Moon Sand, a few books, and a sleeping bag (from Santa). Emily (age 2) got Wall-E, some more books, a new Dora blankie and some bath crayons. I got my one year old Lily a Finding Nemo blankie, a new purse and some baby dolls. Jaxson (6mos) got a doorway jumper and some new clothes. And our newborn got clothing and blankies and stuff from our relatives.

My husband's cousin is 30-something weeks pregnant. She is mildly retarded and has a drug problem. She cannot support herself, let alone a child. The father of her baby is not in the picture, either. She said she would like to keep the baby in the family and wants me and my husband to adopt it. I told her we'd think about it. I'd love to, but I am not sure. I already have four little ones...I know this is my decision, but what should I do?

Do you try the baby food you feed your babies? I try every kind of baby food my baby eats, no matter how gross I think it will be. My husband thinks I'm crazy. lol

My little sister was 10 weeks early (born June '07) and weighed 3lb 14oz. The doctors said she was big for her gestational age and I am curious as to what other preemies (especially ones around her gestational age) weighed.
