  • Is it ethical to put my cat to sleep?

I have a 10 year old cat who is peeing all over my house. It started about 1.5 yrs ago when my daughter was born. She would always pee in the baby's room. Then she stopped for a little while. Then she starts again. It's been going on for way too long and she's ruined almost every carpet in the house.

I got her checked out at the vet and it's not a medical issue. It's all behavioral. She's a very anxious cat by nature and whenever anything is not her way- she pees on a carpet.

Should I live with this?! I'm seriously considering putting her down but I'm trying to decide if it's ethical or not?

I don't see an alternative. Nobody will want a cat who pees on carpets. I won't abandon her outside. And I have strong reservations about a shelter because like I said she's very anxious and that would just be a horrible existence for her.

I do love her and want what's best for her but...I just don't know. What do you all think?

  • What if I don't like the wax job I get?

I am considering getting my eyebrows waxed for the first time. (I am 31 yrs old) I have always considered myself to have decent eyebrows so I haven't waxed or plucked or anything. But as I'm getting older I feel like I need to refresh my look. I am scared I won't like it though. So my question is... If I get it done, will I have to keep doing it forever?

  • What do you think of Wegman's for catering?

It's for my daughters first b day party. About 60 people. I was just going to get a few trays to go along with other things that I will be making. Maybe some pasta and chicken trays? I also have a Shop Rite and Acme close by if you know of them being better. Just really want to know if anybody has ever gotten catered food from these places and what they thought of it. Thanks!

  • why is my cat peeing in my baby's room?

My cat is 8 years old. I just had a baby 2 1/2 months ago and a couple of weeks ago my cat started peeing in her room. Also, my 10 year old son has been away most of the summer. I'm thinking it could be because she misses him. Or could it be that she's jealous of the baby? I have to admit, she's getting a lot less attention these days.... Or could it be something else? Any suggestions what I can do about this problem?

  • I need help with introducing formula while still breastfeeding!!!?

Please help! I go back to work in 2 weeks and my 1 month old is refusing the bottle! Any tips/advice for introducing a bottle of formula while still breastfeeding? Is there a good brand bottle out there I should be using? I'm trying Similac Advanced formula because, to be honest, I really don't want to deal with pumping and storing breastmilk. Could the formula be the problem? Or is it the nipple that she's not used to? I would appreaciate any input that anybody has. Thanks!

  • Did anybody have a baby with low blood sugar at birth?

I have been hearing about it a lot lately. It seems like it is pretty common. If your baby had low blood sugar, what did they do about it? If they gave the baby a bottle, did it interfere with breastfeeding later? I am afraid it will happen to me and they'll want to give her a bottle and then she'll have nipple confusion.

  • Should I donate my baby's cord blood?

I tend to think donation makes more sense than storage because researchers are still in the process of studying the whole concept of cord blood and stem cells. Also, storage is expensive. What does anybody think?

  • where can I find something to divide a room?

I need to make my loft into a room with some sort of closed walls/panels/etc... It will be for my 10 year old son so it needs to have some privacy. The best solution would be for some sort of temporary option because I live in a condo. Does anybody have any ideas or know of any places I should look?
