This is a wedding scenario in India; so I'd like Indians to give some ideas please.

It is an arranged wedding. The guy is rich ( Six bedroom houses, property, Audi car, etc), well educated, London-returned Fashion designer. He is handsome and well-mannered too.

A terribly poor, foul-mouthed driver (with six people living crammed in a single dirty room ) brought the guy to his 'home' to see his daughter. She is pretty, no doubt. She has no other assets. Barely literate, she can't converse in English ( a school dropout). They both agree to get married!

What stumps me is : Why would the guy agree to this match? Surely he could have found thousands of better qualified girls to choose from, in India or in England? The girls' family are thrilled, of course, at their winning a 'lottery'!

Why is the guy doing it? Any ideas???

But how far down? A ball falls down into a well. How far?

I have a 2000W pmpo Amplifier (rms 31 W) into which I feed audio inputs from my computer.

If I connect another set of terminals in parallel to the existing input terminals, can I feed a Karoake microphone input too?

OR would there have to be a SEPARATE input channel for the karoake sing-along music?

The present input terminals on my 2000 W pmpo (Rms 31 W) Amplifier are only for audio inputs from the Laptop computer.

Suppose I connect another input jack in parallel, can I plug a Karoake microphone and sing-along to the music, amplified and fed from the laptop? Will it work Okay?

OR, has there to be a SEPARATE amplification channel for the Karoake input?

Will someone clarify if it will work by simply feeding my new input , connections being soldered in parallel to the existing input terminals?
