  • C-Section Question?

I had a c-section 7 months ago. I still cannot be touched between my belly button and the top of my pubic bone without feeling complete discomfort. It's not pain, but it is not a nice feeling either. Will this ever go away? I also still have a "dead" feeling around my scar. Will I ever regain feeling there? Thank you very much for your answers and have a Merry Christmas!

  • Unfinished basement contracting?

Please advise me on what avenue I should go to hire a contractor to finish my basement. Should I hire the electrician, plumber and drywaller seperately...or should I hire a contractor that sub-contracts all those people? My husband and I love to work together on our house projects, so we would like to do some of the work ourselves. For amatures, what could we get away with doing ourselves with a "dummy" book? Also, is there any advise anyone can give me to avoid any tack-on costs and confusion. (My friend had a house built with a front porch...but found out that the railing was extra.) Stuff like that. Thank you so much for any advice you pros can give me!!!

  • Microwave numbers?

I have a microwave that has been in my basement unused for 4 years. I went to see if it still worked (it does), but 3 of the bars of light, that are for the numbers, do not light up. Is there anyway to fix that?

  • C-Section Question?

We found out yesterday that my baby is breech. Today we tried to have him turned, but to no avail... If he stays breech, I am scheduled to have a C-Section next week. My question is for those that have been there...Is there anything I should get beforehand to make life easier after surgery? I plan on breast-feeding...maybe something with that? Are there any tricks that you learned afterwards to help with the healing? Thank you all for your advice!

  • Poll...For Fun...?

For those ladies out there that are pregnant now...what are the main things you are looking forward to after giving birth. I'm not talking about the baby itself. For me...I miss being able to brush my teeth without my gums bleeding and being able to breathe!!! I'm glad I'm pregnant; I'm going to love my son; but I also miss sitting in a booth at a resturant!!!

  • How do I found out if he's insured?

I am thinking about going with a gentleman from church to put in my sprinkler system. It is my understanding that he doesn't need to be bonded (it's just him), but should I make sure he has insurance? And if so, how do I go over his head to make sure he is up to date on it? What exactly should it cover (ie. just in case he gets hurt, or should I make sure it would cover any damages to my home or property?). Any extra thoughts would be appreciated, as we are putting in $2000 to have this done!

  • Serious question for Jewish Faith?

My sister and I are both Christians. We believe that we can only be saved through our Lord Jesus, Son of God. My question is, if the Jewish faith does not believe that Jesus was the messiah and was sacrificed for our sins, why do Jews not practice sacrificing animals anymore. Shouldn't you abide by the rules in the Old Testament if that's all you believe in? I am very earnest in my question, so please give an earnest answer. TY!

  • Military...claiming combat pay?

If I am reading the Form 1040, line 66b correctly, we can elect not to include military combat pay. But in order to try and get the additional child tax credit (Form 8812) we have to submit it on line 4b, but it really affects nothing. I want to do my taxes this year and these two questions have me a little confused. Thank you in advance!
