We're renewing our vows on our 11th anniversary on a Friday evening. Due to small crowd, costs, and hubby's & coworkers' schedules (4 am-noon) we were having a ceremony at 6-6:30 ish and only going to do cake and desserts and beverages, and possibly hors douvres if budget allows. What appropriate one line wording can be used so guests won't expect a full meal at that time of day? (we want that particular day of the week since we actually were married on a Friday the 13th, and would like to do the same)

I'm printing a friend's wedding programs for her as part of our gift, and last night the groom called and asked how to word/insert a mention of his aunt who passed away last week. the wording concerning this section so far is:

Respectfully, some of our relatives could not be with us to celebrate this special day. We feel they are here in spirit and they will always be in our hearts. We would like to remember Buffy’s brother with love, who is currently stationed in Afghanistan:

The way I understand it, on the bride's side, on the brother's empty chair there will be a framed photo and rose. and I was thinking of suggesting the same for th eaunt......

can anyone else give some alternate wordings so I can give them a few options (only concerning the aunt- they don't want to tough the brother's mention- thanks for all the help and suggestions

I have a saved marriage license application that I'd like to edit to remove California from it and make all those references to Maryland...I don't have any special software on my laptop and ever time I search edit pdf file, it seems to need to pay a charge? Does anyone know if I can edit it or convert it to a word document for free?

In your opinion, how should the show handle it? I think they owe Jeanne Cooper the respect to kill off her character (die in her sleep maybe) instead of trying to find another actress....Y&R will never be the same

we had a secret courthouse marraige last yr, and now having a coming out wedding this year so everyone will know (only about 6 people and family memmbers know)....we have asked a close family friend to be the minister/officiant of cermony, (he did one of those online freebie minister certificates just in case but we already have a legitimate marraige certificate, so he doesn't need to sign officially or submit to state)......what are some alternative terms that can be used....not minister (this will be the most non-religious cermony in existance), , officiant doesn't seem right, any suggestions.....if it helps....this is a football themes weddingtaken to extremes of save the date tickets, football cake, football team wedding vests, etc. so humor can be played in on the program if we could carry the titles throughout...

Wondering if some of you could help with ideas for the bridal shower (the bride and groom are already taking care of the Baltimore Raven themed wedding details)....Her daughter (teenager maid of honor) has asked my help in throwing a shower for mom, which I have now problem, but are looking for ideas with the Ravens themed, other than pruple and black colors....I;m meeting with the bride/groom, MOH, etc today so I'll get a better count of guests, but was thinking of making this a pot luck style get together since none of us arre a formal type of people. Can anyone suggest favors, decorations other than balloons, maybe table centerpieces, etc. without this looking like a super bowl or boys' bday party?

Here are my circumstances; suggestions of knowledge of whats needed would be great:

~I am on SS Disability, my husband was (has been since 2010) on workmans comp until March, with a lup court settlement in November (our atty said the lump is non taxable)...is this true, was is weekly checks taxable (2/3 of his salary)?

~We received an inheritance in February on a non/family (neighbor family friend) member- each my hub and I receive 18,000; we requested taxes be pulled, and then after the settlement were notified by the county court we owed a 10% inheritance tax, which we paid....it was from her 401K as a college employee thru the state teacher's emplyee pension- I'm sure we would receive some paperwork- what form would it be?

~My husband and I have paid several things on opening our own business (in the process, filing/approving paperwork etc.) but have kept track of expenses accumulated so far- application fee to the state board needed, tax dept registration, 2012 vehicle (paid in full), mileage log separating personal use and business useage, toll facility receipts, etc., state board license fee, continous ed costs (classes)....what if any of this can be used? We are going to be using a tax professional, but want to make sure of having all necessary paperwork so no delays....to date, and there will not be any, income from this business, only expenses for creating and establishing the groundwork

~ I know we'll receive a mortgage statement for our house payment, my husband's pension (from first career) 1099 (?), my disbaility 1099, bank statements

~When it comes to medical expenses and mieages- is it worth it or can it be used? on one occasion we had a hotel stay (more than 50 mies from hm), I keep track of prescription copays/out of pocket costs, mileages for the medical trips (most are 40+ miles from our hm).....was an estimated 1200 miles, contact expenses, anything else?

~child support isn't deductible? no alimony but never sure about CS; we claim the 15 y/o this yr, and have my daughter who turned 19 in september is a fulltime college student that lives lil more than half time with us, she does receive pell grant thru us, work study and a few part time jobs outside of school- not sure if we can claim here if it would be more advantageous for her to file herself (i don't think she would be at the any mandatory file- the only w2 we have is for college work study at 5284.)

Due to a recent death in our family, and the small arguments that cause separation of family, my husband asked with me to sit and 'pre-arrange' how he sees his memorial service. (Short story- he is a funeral director, I a graduate of the mort sci program but stay at home mom). We have both arranged for our bodies to be donated to the anatomy board with the directions to be used for the mortuary science students, hence no body present at services).

He has specified several hymns which are dear to him, a few poems, how he'd like the 'decor' to be (an empty casket draped in the MD state flag for all his service in prior career, many candles and photos, etc.), votive candles and bookmarks as momentos to the guests, and a balloon release.

Since I am lutheran and he wants to go to his childhood Roman Catholic church, I'm not sure of the order of service....can anyone help me? would the attendees be allowed to have communion? what is the 'normal' order of service when th edeceased is not present? if you choose not to order here, feel free to email me at mortuarygirlz@yahoo.com- I've tried to find sample funeral programs online, but none are ever free and they only show th efront and back cover...thans to all-Brandee

I like this couple; the two troubled souls have sorta found their other half in each other, and i like chelsea more and more ever since she gave up johnny to vicki and billy, and didn't play games over custody (not that i've seen vicki and billy live up to their end of 'taking care of her' with school, etc.)...do you see this lasting more than the obvious five minutes of ever soap marriage, or (i hope it doesn't fall thsi way) will we have a trouble/premature pregnancy or the baby die as karma for all adam did to babies in the past?

and i've seen on soapcentral.com, in the coming weeks, victor dishes payback to those who did him wrong while he was gone....i can understand the first 2of the 3 names listed- sharon and tucker, but the thrid was adam....what did he do? it's not like the other newmans tried to include him into the business, press conferences, telling him vic's alive (sucked he found out watching tv, he's one step above noah)

Last October, I was hospitalized for undiagnosed hypoglycemia (when I was admitted my sugar was 22). AS a result, I began seeing an endocrinologist. At my first appt. with ner, she asked had I ever been told I had aaan enlarged thyroid on my left side; I said no....she said as a precaution; she'd like for me to have a biopsy. I thought nothing of it and agreed, having it in January. In Feb., when I went back for th eresults, they said too much fluid and not enough cells had been withdrawn for a accurate exam- we need to repeat. I thought, OK, I had seen the screen, and could understand. about a month ago, it was repeated, and yesterday I was supposed to get the results. An hour before the appt. the office called me to say they needed to reschedule- we were five minutes from the office, so we went in anyway. I explained I didn't get the msg., and th enurse and office manager pulled me immediately into a private office to explain....another biopsy would have to be repeated because the "pathologist didn't want to jump to conclusions". I'm now rescheduled for the ist wk of JUly since they say the thyroid needs recovery time from the last biop. They wouldn't even let me see a dr to speak about the results of b#2, so I've called my PCP and asked her to get the results so we can speak at my appt with her next week....my thoughts are scrambling. I'd rather be informed there was something bad on the results and brace myself, than to have to stress out (I have anxiety attacks) for another month. I am a 38 y/o female, in fairly good health, only issues are migraines, lupus, anxiety, and the low sugars (which i haven't had in months)...what are the possible answers of what it could be?

My daughter will be graduating from college soon, after attending on a soccer & softball scholarship....can some creative person help my come up with a short quip (you know how they usually have a 4 line saying before the announcement) that would mention her playing these two sports?

friday night i was watching kitchen nightmares while doing other lil jobs (multitasking) and saw a ticker message run across the screen and didn't get to read it throughly.....did anyone see this and tell me what it was....i thought it said something to the efffect as of january 1, 2012 verizon fios may no longer access or offer fox as a channel and this would not effect direct tv and some other options.....any input- i've tried engine searches for info and no luck, but of this is the case i will change to comcast....i shouldn't be penalized out of a local station

A few ?s since I can't catch the show as often....1. Am I wrong in figuring out Abby's sister is married to Abby's brother? I know the incest like lines are usual but am I right about Vicki and Billy? 2. The Phyllis Diane catfight today was fabulous...but what is Phyl b$%^&ing about how diane ruined her her in the past? Why the hell was Brooke so shocked and upset that Ridge proposed to Taylor? I'm not condoning being separated and proposing to another in the length of one car ride....but didn't Brooke tell Ridge she filed for divorce and gave her wedding ring to Taylor? Kinda tells me she was out of the pic. Who will be the next sucker male to hop in her bed- Thomas? Whip?

pregnancy/childbirth/baby storyline...I give extreme credit to Sophia for being upfront and honest (some Genoa City-ians could take a hint) instead of hiding it til the child is 16-18 (in th ecase of Lily and Neil finding out when Lily married Daniel)

and I can't remeber the last normal pregnancy and childbirth...examples- Lily's twins: she had to get a surrogate who had pregnancy comps and delivered early, delia- born at the cabin, Faith born in a nuthouse, summer born in a elevator, reed born while mama was in a coma, etc.
