Music in latest netflix advert?
What's the song being played in the latest Netflix advert? It's the ad with a clip of Keifer Sutherland in 24 saying "Now we're gonna have some fun" There's rock music playing over the advert that I think I recognise but can't place and it's really bugging me.
2 AnswersOther - Music8 years agoWhat colour goes with a silver-blue/black dress?
I have a dress for a wedding that is a very pale silvery-blue with a black lace overlay. I really don't want to go with the obvious black or silver colours for shoes/bag etc. What other colours do people do think will go with this?

This code produces a strange little white symbol that I can't tell what it is. Seen a link online that suggests a polar bear but I don't see it.
2 AnswersMSN1 decade agoLate payment charges on a queried bill...?
The company who maintain the property I live in have consistently issued incorrect bills to myself and fellow residents. I've written and called to query the latest one which is clearly incorrect. I've had no response to these queries and have now recieved a further letter giving me a time limit to pay after which late charges (a further £50) will be added to the bill.
I don't want to pay the bill without some proof/confirmation it's correct as I believe it's wrong but, on the other hand, I don't want to get hit with further charges.
As the company aren't responding to my query of the bill, what's my next appropriate course of action? Does anyone know the law or code of practice relating to this area?
3 AnswersOther - Business & Finance1 decade agoI'm wearing an emerald green dress to a wedding...?
It goes really well with my skin/hair/eyes as I'm a redhead. Not sure what colour to go for with regards to my bag, shoes etc. I want to keep it quite simple as my dress is such a strong colour.
Any thoughts?
19 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoHow long are exam records kept for...?
I completed a degree course at University that ended in May 2008. I passed the first two years and was approved to progress to an optional third year. I then decided, for work and personal reasons, not to do the third year.
I have been trying for a year to get my certificate for the first part of the course (a post-grad diploma) and only now have I been informed that the Uni believes I have failed two modules and will not issue the pass.
If I had failed I could not have been approved to progress to year 3 so I have had a formal investigation started. I have asked for copies of any records and correspondence they have related to my marks and grades. So far I've had nothing. I must have been recorded as passed to progress to year 3 so I want to know where that record is now.
Can anyone tell me how long an academic institution is required to hold onto these records for and what legal right I have to get access to it.
2 AnswersOther - Education1 decade agoIce breakers at a training event.?
I work in training and we use ice breaker exercises at the start of events. I need suggestions for an ice breaker that will work on a group of about 50 people who are going to have very limited mobility to move around the room or form themselves into groups. Any suggestions?
2 AnswersOther - Education1 decade agoI have two weeks left before my first 10k run...?
I joined late so have only been training for a month and can run for about 20 mins before I need to stop. I've estimated I'll take about 1hr and 20 mins to complete the course.
I'm not expecting miracles, I just want to do my best and get round in one piece :-) What can I do in the next two weeks to maximise my performance.

Does anyone know a website where I can find a glass or perspex box to protect/display a dried rose. The flower is dried and sprayed with fixative but I need to be sure it won't get crushed or bashed.
Any suggestions?

4 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoWhich effect pedal would you recommend?
Other half plays guitar and I want to get him an effect pedal (or two) He currently only has a Wah-Wah pedal. He plays a lot of rock and grunge (Nine Inch Nails / Foo Fighters / Nirvana). I'm thinking of a Chorus and/or Overdrive pedal. Do these work together and/or with the Wah?
He plays a Fender Strat
5 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoSpamming / Virus on Facebook?
All my Facebook friends have just got messages on their walls claiming to be from me but with a link to another site and messages such as "You must look at this" or "Found this and thought you'd like it" etc etc.
Luckily my mates are too bright to follow the links and I've been on the profiles of all my friends and deleted this spoof wall post whereever I found it.
My question is - how did this happen, am I at any risk from anything further and how do I prevent it. I've done all the usual, changed passwords, run anti-virus / spyware etc programs. Anything else I need to consider?

5 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoIs there a website listing what was in the UK Top 10/Top 40 singles charts week by week in the 1990's?
I'm trying to look at the movement of some songs up and down the Top 10/Top 40 and a list of the charts week by week would be really helpful. Anyone know where I can get one? It has to cover 1995 onwards.
5 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoWhat's a good recipe for biscuits/cookie to cut out with cutters?
I want to make some novelty shaped biscuits/cookies but some of the recipes I've tried seem to be either sticky and don't come cleanly out of the cutter (even when it's oiled or floured) and some recipes are too brittle and break up when removing the cutter.
Not too fussed about what the ingredients are but something foolproof would be good!
8 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoCan anyone recommend a training plan for a complete beginner...?
I'm planning to do a 10k run in May and want to make the most of the time I have to train. I'm healthy but about 1/2 stone overweight and only averagely fit (I walk a lot for long distances but have never done any serious running (but would like to))
What's a good plan/schedule to build up the ability/stamina of a total novice?

5 AnswersLiverpool1 decade agoLimit for sending messages on Facebook?
Got a message on Facebook
"You are approaching the limit for sending messages
Slow down or you'll hit a temporary block!"
Has anyone else had this? What is the limit? I can't find anything on Facebook to tell me. If the temp block happens - how long for?
3 AnswersFacebook1 decade agoDisplaying wall posts on Facebook - help...?
On Facebook, on my profile, I can see all the posts left for me on my wall. Two of my friends joind yesterday and none of the posts we leave for them are displayed on the wall. If they click "wall to wall" they can see them but the posts aren't showing on the front page of the profiles.
The privacy settings are set to allow all friends to see the wall but it still keeps saying "no posts" even though we know there should be at least 6 on each profile.
Any advice?
