  • Folklore, mythological, fairytale names for an animal?

I am getting a kitten for my daughter and I in a few weeks when they are weaned.

I am trying to brainstorm unique names but can t seem to come up with anything.

So far I have thought of Gypsy, Sage and Bohème.

    Any suggestions are welcome! :)

If it helps any, the kitten appears to be a ragdoll, blue eyes and all.

  • Degree needed to become a Child Life Specialist?

I want to pursue a bachelors degree but I'm unsure of what it should be in to become a Child Life Specialist.

Also, would I be able to pursue some if not all of this online? I have a 4 month old baby to care for.

Any suggestions would be great. I am very interested in this career.

  • CNA to LPN? Worth it?

I'm 22 with a 3 month old daughter, my first.

I am a CNA. I want to go back to become an LPN.

Is it worth going to school for?

After establishing myself as an LPN I then wanted to go back to school to become an RN. I'm told to just go the extra year to be an RN but in MI there is a waiting list for the program. Also, I think a full course load will be hard with a baby and full time job so I won't be taking more than a couple classes which will make the 2 year degree take possibly 3 or 4 years for me.

    Advice?

  • Nursing assistant and Phlebotomy certification?

I'm a young mother trying to get an education.

I would like to begin by becoming a CNA. I was also thinking of getting a certification in Phlebotomy as well. Would doing so give me more job opportunities as well as a better salary outlook?

Eventually I would like to become an RN.

Any advice, tips or help is also appreciated. Thank you. :)

  • 35 weeks pregnant and sex?

I was told that semen can help your cervix efface.

My boyfriend and I have sex at least once a day but I'm afraid now.

Will effacing my cervix cause her to come early?

I want her to be here when she's ready. Just a bit scared..

  • Dead end relationship?

I fell really hard for this guy- so much so that I left a four year relationship to take a chance with him.

Well, he cheated on me twice (he says it didn't count since we weren't 'official), then cheated on me twice more once we were official.

I felt dumb for staying. When I wanted to leave I found out I was pregnant. I decided to take responsibility and try to work things out and prepare for my child.

Thought things were going well but I found emails of him talking to women on craigslist throughout the entire 1yr of our relationship trying to meet up for sex, etc. Also, he continued seeing the woman he cheated on me with.

Last instance was 2 months ago.. I tried to leave but he promised he's changed now for his daughter.. Idono what to do anymore.

Sometimes I want to end it but the child inside of me stops me.

Any advice is appreciated, even if it's negative (I deserve it)..

  • Child support- should I file before she does?

My boyfriend dated a girl but didn't want to be with her any longer. She caught wind of this and so, made it a point to get pregnant with their last encounter.

He stayed to support the child but once she found out he was dating me she refused to let him see his child.

Now, we are expecting. His ex still hasn't filed for support but he wants to so he can get his daughter back.

My question is, if I file for child support first will we be able to have decent money for our child on the way rather than not?

I'm told if she files first, although she makes good money and he buys and sends his daughter everything she needs, she'll get more money than if I don't or if I file later. She also said if we go to court she will make sure she 'Takes him for all he has'.

Please unbiased opinions only. I don't care if you feel we're 'in the wrong'.

  • I don't want to be with the father of my child. Advice?

It's such a long story, I don't know where to start.

He has a child with someone whom he wasn't seriously dating. He wanted to support that child but he didn't want to be with her; I found this out after we started dating.

To sum up a lot of the beginning of our relationship- he cheated on me with her twice.

It was hard to get over and live with the pain so I broke up with him 4 months after that.

We ended up getting back together and moving in.

I then found out from said woman that they slept together during our break up and he had gotten her pregnant.Again. She miscarried a couple weeks later.

I didn't know what to do so I stayed and tried to work it out again.. But I couldn't bare it. As I was preparing to leave him I then found out that I was pregnant.

He straightened up, has a no contact order with her and I am now 6 months along.

Problem is, I don't want to be with him anymore. I love him and can see how he has changed but I can't live with how much he's hurt me..

  • How much would I get for a 2008 Mazda 6 with front end damage?

My boyfriend recently got into an accident where he was not at fault. Unfortunately, he only had plpd on the vehicle and after inspection, it would be $12,000 to fix it.

It was impounded after we went out of town for a funeral. We already paid $2,000 to get it out the first time, not its costing us $600.

How much would we get if we sold it? I know people buy salvaged vehicles.. but is it worth even paying for or just letting them have it?

  • How would you pronounce the name 'Verra'?

We just found out that we are having a baby girl!

We already picked this name out and spelled it Verra, so that people will pronounce it correctly.

My grandmother, on the other hand, feels that its spelling will lead people to MISpronounce it.

I just want to see, by just reading it, how would YOU pronounce it?

Thank you for the feedback in advance! :)

  • How should I tell my mother I'm pregnant?

I'm 21, living with my boyfriend of one year. My mother is like a bestfriend to me but I am still very nervous.

Should I tell her or wait until I'm further along?

  • How should I tell my mom that I'm pregnant?

I am 21, a manager at a national food chain. I have an interview for another job in my career field (child care).

I just recently moved in with my boyfriend of one year. He already has a child from a previous relationship who he is presently fighting for custody over.

Money is tight but we manage and I'm just nervous that my family will look down on me for some reason.

I just found out a few days ago and have four very positive tests and a doc appointment this week.

What would be the best way to tell my mom? She is like my best friend, my confidant but I feel more nervous sharing this with her. Advice?

  • Finding a job after going to Baker College?

I was told that it's not the education but the school. That because I have a degree from Baker who, THEY say, if a for-profit school, employers will look away.

Is this true? Do you have experience's with Bake? Is it really "all about the school"?

  • How to tell if he likes me?

I've been talking to this guy for quite a while but feel as though I get mixed signals.

He texts me "Good Morning" and sometimes "Goodnight".

We talk on and off all day (although he takes hours to reply)

He had a girlfriend (started dating just before we were friends) but recently broke up with her.

We made plans to hangout (a lot) as soon as I move back home.

We talked about some pretty deep stuff here and there and he's vented to me just a couple times.

What do you think? Should I persue this? How should I go about liking him?
