Please tell me someone besides myself has heard of him. Quite easily the best guitarist alive today, as he can emulate any guitarist's style, and his skills in improvisation are unmatched.

Honestly people, bands like Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance aren't emo, nor anything even close to it. True emo is an offshoot of hardcore punk, played by bands in that scene who wanted to play something with more emotion. Hell, Black Flag is closer to true emo than Fall Out Boy, and that's not an insult.

To make this a question, what's your favorite emo band?

Anybody into them? They're one of my favorite bands; I mean, with song titles like "We Stood Transfixed In Blank Devotion As Our Leader Spoke To Us, Looking Down On Our Mute Faces With A Great, Raging, And Unseeing Eye," you can't go wrong.

I just want to know if anyone knows what true emo music is. Hint: NOT bands like MCR, FOB, AFI, etc.

I'm not a fan, in fact I'm about as far from a fan as you can get, but I did some research and found nothing about this, where does it say they are breaking up?

Has anyone ever heard of Ayreon? Simply mindblowing progressive metal, it is one of Arjen A. Lucassen's many side projects. If you are a fan of Dream Theater you will love this, hell, IMO Ayreon blows DT away. Look up the albums "The Human Equation," or "Into the Electric Castle."

Now that the invasion is over, I feel it is time to ask on-topic questions. Do Judas Priest play songs off of their non-metal albums live, eg Rocka Rolla?

Why don't we all stop being ignorant pricks, and stop trolling other sections? I like rock and metal, you like rap and hip-hop, WHO GIVES A DAMN?! From now on R&P people should stick to the R&P section, and R&HH people should stick to the R&HH section.

What is your favorite genre of metal, and what is your favorite band in that genre? Right now I'm torn between Thrash (Sodom) and Power (Rhapsody or Manowar).

Now, before everyone starts insulting me, listen up; I'm not trying to insult the band in any way, they're not my style of music, but whatever. Anyway, whenever anyone does insult MCR, all the fans say they love them because of what the band stands for. Well, what do they stand for?

I can't be the only one who has told someone they like metal, only to meet the question, "Oh, so you like Slipknot?" No, I do not like Slipknot. I don't uber-hate them like other metalheads, in fact I like a couple of their songs, but people need to stop thinking that that, and all nu-metal in general, is metal.
